    Fettuccine Alfredo 2/5
    Noah B.

Fettuccine Alfredo was bland and didn't have enough going for it. If you have a small child I'm sure they would like this but I didn't have enough flavor and it could've used peas or something.

I was so excited based on the yelp reviews. We wanted an outside table that another couple let us know they were leaving. The workers says they had a table of 8 coming and needed it ( this table was a max 4 , but maybe the next table was almost done) Then they move us to another area and point at a table. We go waking up to the table and someone else says not to sit there they need that for an 8 top. So we walk back out again and we're pointed to the same original table. Are you sure this time? I got the fettuccine with mushrooms and my husband got the cannelloni. He said it was the best hes had in a long time, my fettuccine was simple and delicious. Then when it came time for the check that took about 20 minutes, then another 15 minutes to get the CC. I would try them again if I was in the area but if you are in a bit of a rush hand them the CC or ask for the bill at the same time they drop off your last dish.

    Carbonara and Campari Soda

I had the best carbonara I've ever had here it was literally so good. Place was clean, service was nice and quick.

Great view of the piazza - stopped here for a cappuccino and the server was friendly. Very touristy but they have free WiFi!

    Chicken Limone

This place is surprisingly moderately priced given that it's in Piazza Navona. I had the chicken limone, which I'd give 3 stars. My husband had the salmon fettuccine which he said was amazing, and he'd order again. We did get to sit outside, which is the whole point of eating in Piazza Navona. We couldn't stay for dessert though: a group of women sat nearby us and starting smoking up a storm of cigarettes (it was awful!), so we missed out on the tartufo. This is a common problem with al fresco dining in Europe though. All in all, it was cheaper than I'd assumed for the area. Bernini would've been more expensive, but it was completely full.

    Salad at 4 Fiumi

After a busy morning of walking around some of the Rome Italy sights, it was time to decide where to eat a relaxing lunch where we could do some people watching. We found the perfect place in Ristorante 4 Fiumi located in the square of Piazza Navona. The outdoor sidewalk setting is typical of what you will see in Rome and was our choice this beautiful afternoon to sit back and observe the daily activity in Piazza Navona. 4 Fiumi offers a good selection of pastas, pizzas and salads. My spouse was craving a good old fashioned bowl of spaghetti while I decided to go for a simple salad to have a respite from pasta overload. The bowl of spaghetti was cooked to my wife's liking and completely consumed. I was surprised that my salad included kernels of corn and it too was thoroughly enjoyed. Overall service, quality of food and affordability are typical of what you will find throughout Rome. Overall location is excellent if you want a relaxing location to spend a few hours to people watch. It is for this reason I give a 4 to 4 Fiumi!

    Simple bruschetta pomodoro

Buon giorno! My mom and I have spent the last ten days exploring Italy, Rome being the last stop and only here for 48 hours! Walked to Piazza Novona and my mom recognized this ristorante from her previous visits. This would be here FORTH time at this ristorante and my first. We ordered the bruschetta misto and the artichoke romana style, and a bottle of house white wine. BEST artichoke I have ever had! And the most kind precious staff. The next day walking back from Trevi Fountain we walked through the Piazza Novona again and decided we had to go back before we went home to California the next morning. I had to get the artichoke again. My mom got grilled veggies antipasti and bruschetta pomodoro. We're not vegetarians just wanted a light lunch and we loved the staff here! Our neighboring table got pasta carbonara, and rigatoni pomodoro and we all couldn't get over how great it all was. Andrea brought us the the most delicious watermelon for dessert which we shared with our neighboring table! Andrea, Antonio, and Mamon were our main servers and they were incredible! But the entire staff as a whole was as well! Polite, friendly, attentive, interactive and so kind and fun! I will be back next summer if not sooner! Wish I had more photos but I highly recommend!

Awesome front row view of the piazza novona to watch the happening events, musicians and antic acts such as a guy who may look like a statue in position and then suddenly rotates and startles a pedestrian. We had dessert here and enjoy the coffee covered vanilla gelato and a few scoops of chocolate, pistachio and coconut gelato scoops which were eat so good. My favorite is the classic chocolate followed closely by the coconut. Prego!

Seems like it is more of a fancy style restaurant however the outside is more casual.

To start out I ordered a traditional bruschetta it's simple buttered bread with a chopped tomato topping really gave me a good beginning taste for my future tomato endeavors. For my entree I ordered the Mozzarella con Prosciutto. With a very thin crust it had a familiar taste to a pizza place back in my home town. A 2013 Chianti Classico was our choice of wine for the meal and was a perfect addition to the meal. The service was very good and there was no delay between courses nor to little time between courses. Overall it wasn't the best pizza Id ever had but it was a very good environment, service, low ambience inside, and was a calm nice lunch. To add onto that the weather was scorching and the air conditioned room felt very nice and kept everybody calm and collected when eating there dishes.

Love the bruschetta, it was the best, the pasta was just ok

It was a nice place with I nice view. It has a very Italian atmosphere and the service was very good. The food was ok, I recommend the bruschettas

My friend and I walked around the entire circle of restaurants surrounding the piazza until we settled down on this place. I felt really bad for the restaurant next door being completely empty while this place was packed. We sat outdoors for dinner and while the lighting was a little reddish, the ambiance was cozy. Shout out to the very effective heat lamps! We Americans sat next to a lovely couple from Manchester and ended up having limoncello into the night. Our server was really friendly and joked with me a lot. The food was delicious! Would recommend to all in the area.

We both believe the film "National Treasure" is a prophecy but all of the clues actually reside in the Vatican. Do you believe that too? After collecting sufficient evidence and finding the next clue for the location of the artifact, we were hungry! What better place to eat than 433? We arrived around 9 and the outside patio was packed. An amplified violin player wandered the tables. We didn't mind sitting inside, so we were seated immediately. Less immediate was actually getting service, which took around 15 minutes. Which is fine! Lest we be the Americans in a Rush. As we waited, our eyes scanned the restaurant for additional clues to the whereabouts of historic artifacts. Sally scanned the walls in a trance. Among the art, she appreciates "...the naked butt and Walter White and the queer table. From far away, it looks like the logo says 'a**'." Our waiter takes our order and returns with our drinks, lickety split. Sally remarks on her Prosecco, "tastes like 'a**'. I can't say I know what that tastes like, but I can 'a**'-ume. The bubbles are full of 'a**'." I ordered the Negroni. It was standard fare. The only unique element was that it came with a lot of ice. I enjoyed it! The food comes out equally quick. We begin with the Caesar salad. Sally munches and crunches and says, "Dare I say the best I've ever had..? A lady finger crouton tastes like a lady. The finger! In circle form..." The dressing on the salad is a delight, light and flavorful. Next up is the beef fillet. Sally chews and says, "Blood in my mouth... So good, so blood... Feels like I'm eating red 'a**'." I agree! Finally, we have the Tonnarelli Con Pomodorini, Basilico E Scaglie Di Parmigiano. Sally notes, "Very thick hot noodles... Tastes fresh like the pope on a Tuesday - red-hot like pizza supper! The noodles are thicc but it matches the theme of the restaurant. Feels like I'm eating 'a**'!" We round out our meal by enjoying a glass of the house red. "Tastes like swirly 'a**'. I thought it was blood from the steak... TURNS OUT, It was from a grape. And you know what kind of grape? The 'a**' grape..... Grape from an 'a**'..... Which is? A grape." We were stuffed to the gills with delicious food and drink. Our bloodhound-like noses were re-energized for clues and now we have a fresh scent for 'a**.' Who knows where that scent will lead us! Thank you, 433333!

I wasn't ready for lunch at that point, but he needed food, so we went searching for a spot open and ready to serve (as Americans, we eat earlier than the locals, so that's always a consideration). Ristorante 433 was situated next to another restaurant, both looked to be doing good business and had intriguing menus. This place won out, though, because the staff was friendly and accommodating, without being too "salesman" and trying to usher us inside. We chose a table on the patio under an open umbrella. We had just settled in and were contemplating the menu when one of the waitresses came by and told us that the sun would be shifting soon, meaning we'd lose the umbrella's protection if we didn't move. She offered us another table under the canopy, which we accepted. To start, we ordered the Pinsetta con la Concia (a flatbread with marinated zucchini) for €14. For my main, and because I wasn't all that hungry, I ordered the Caprese salad (€10). My husband went with the Diavolo pizza (€13). The zucchini flatbread was surprisingly delicious. The bread was crunchy and chewy, and the flavor of the zucchini - not my husband's first choice of vegetable - was savory and herby. And I will say that the Caprese salad was exactly what I needed in that moment. Not just the fresh green vegetables, but something lighter than the carb-heavy pastas and breads I'd been living on the entirety of our trip. My husband really enjoyed his pizza, mostly because of the meat and mozzarella. I know he could have polished off one more of the pizzas and been a happy camper, but he left satiated. Glad we ended up at this restaurant for our mid-day meal. The staff, the patio, the food and the location were all very good.

We were told we could sit outside. Another person in our party asked for inside seating but we were told outside only. No biggie. Our server was ok. He seemed to be irritated in general. He presented the chalkboard and went over the specials but we had already chosen our entrees from the standard menu. Two of the ladies wanted to split an appetizer but the waiter kept insisting that it was intended for one person and that ordering just one wouldn't be enough to share. They went ahead with the single order and it was plentiful. Water was 3 euro per vase and the spritz was 15 euro. For entrees we got two orders of the Linguine and two orders of the spaghetti. Prior to the food coming out they brought out a complimentary bread basket. It had 5 slices of bread and then some smaller round breadsticks. The pastas came out shortly after. Presentation was beautiful but the actual pasta dish (I had the lemon linguine) wasn't my favorite. The dish was cold and the noodles were overly hard. It was creamy but had hardly any lemon flavor. The table next to us, a larger group ordered several orders of the lemon linguine and the chef himself came out to greet them and then plated the pasta outside for everyone to see. They were a group of 6 vs our 4. He spoke to them and the table next to us but never acknowledged us. It felt kind of weird. At the end of our meal we asked for to go boxes and the check. We asked to pay separately and the server was visibly upset at our request. We ended out working the payment out amongst ourselves (Venmo-ing each other and such) to lesson the burden. Overall it was ok but not the 5 star, best meal in Italy experience other reviewers tend to mention.
