3Sixty is located inside the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport. Upon checking in mid-afternoon - I asked the concierge if there was a coffee shop in the hotel. She directed me to 3Sixty. During the day - they have a little coffee bar located next to the bar - off to the right. I ordered a cup of coffee - it was close to closing time for the coffee bar - so the lady working the bar gave me my cup of coffee for free. I half jokingly asked if she was pawning old coffee off on me and that was why she was giving it away? She laughed and said it was pretty fresh - brewed in the last 30 minutes - but if I wanted to wait - she would make me an even fresher cup. I laughed and thanked her - took my coffee (and left her a large tip). The coffee was good. Hit the spot. Later that evening, I came back for a beer and something to eat. I ordered the crab cakes and waffle fries with garlic - and a pint of a local Farmhouse Ale. Service was good, food was good, beer was good. Cheap, salty, mediocre, overpriced food. Service was atrocious. Server literally took my order and dropped off a $5 soda (for which I was never even offered a refill. They have the gall to start the tip suggestions at 18%. Here's my tip to the waiter: check on your customer about 5 minutes after they've received their order to make sure everything is okay and correct. Keep an eye on their beverage glass, and check in occasionally to make sure everything is still okay. When you drop the check off, pick it up in less than the 15 minutes it took you. First, when I rate a hotel for food, I downgrade my expectations. I read somewhere that the person with the lowest expectations always wins. I don't know about the truth of that, but I didn't go in thinking I would get a burger of top tier status. The issue is, I didn't get a top 80% one either. My philosophy is simple. I have traveled all over America, and nothing is more American than a burger. With that said, I believe that hotels should use their burger as the one thing they execute with precision and accuracy. It should be the go to easy option that is fool proof. The triad of greatness (food, service/facility, and value) are as follows- food 0, service and facility 3, value, 0 for a whopping 1 Star, and that's because the hotel is a nice place, and I am feeling a bit generous. When I asked for more meat sauce on the pasta they were more than willing to bring some more 2. Convenient: don't have to leave the hotel to eat 3. Pasta was piping hot when it came out Cons 1. Salad had no flavor. The pasta I ordered had very little meat While the pros seem to outweigh the cons, I ultimately judge a place by its food and it just wasn't up to par. Since this is a hotel restaurant, I did not have very high expectations but I did expect to be seated and served quickly. There was no one at the welcome booth when we arrived and we were ignored for a solid 5-10 minutes. When we finally got seated, we were served for another 5-10 minutes. Not sure if they were understaffed but it wasn't busy when we went around 2PM. Our server was fantastic but the overall wait time really dragged down the experience. I ordered a simple wedge salad with salmon and asked for ranch on the side. The salad took a while to make and the dressing was not on the side when I got it. I recently visited this bar for work. I was surrounded by teachers as well as my best friend (also a teacher). We went into this weekend hoping for fun and a good time while learning ALL the things. Turns out, the bar tenders truly were the therapists they have been named for years. The first night, we were well taken care of and we had a great time there. We had so much fun and lots of laughing that we couldn't wait to go back the next night. The next night was the same story only we felt a little heavier. The next night we arrived to the bar knowing we were going to have a great time with the guys who took care of us the first night, Larry and Hector. We put in our orders and begin the night. Shortly after my friend and I receive the news, one of our students had passed away. Let me tell you, these 2 bar tenders were the best people they could have been for us. They didn't have to, they could have avoided us because our lightness became heavy. They cared for us soooo well, hugs and everything. We were meant to be there with these guys. Yes, they were doing their job, but it felt more than that. I couldn't thank them more for their kindness. You guys were amazing, I still tear up thinking about how you were there for us. We debated on ordering off the menu or having the buffet. Decided to have the buffet as an omelette and coffee off the menu cost nearly the same as the full buffet. For the cost of the buffet, we were underwhelmed. Basically everything is sitting too long in the buffet line. The potatoes were cool and dried out. The Belgian waffles were soggy and cool. The bacon was good. The sausage links were pretty shriveled up and the flavor was a little strange. As part of the buffet, you can order an omelette and that came out very good. They have the ability for you to make your own pancakes, we didn't try that. The fruit was good. The dry cereal, bread and rolls selection was adequate. In all fairness, it was later into the breakfast schedule when we arrived so that might account for the condition of the various foods. I am staying at the Hyatt for only a few hours before my redeye flight to the east cost. I decided to grab a bite at the 3SIXTY Bistro then head back to my room to relax. When I arrived at the restaurant at 3:30pm, after standing at the desk waiting to be seated in clear view and no one acknowledging me, I walked over to the bar and asked if I just seat myself. I was then told that the restaurant is closed until 5pm but I can order food at the bar. PERFECT I thought! The NBA finals was on and that's exactly where I wanted to sit! There was only one party of 2 & one gentleman at the bar and they were only having drinks. The bartender Lawrence gave me a menu then walked away. After a few mins he asked me if I was ready to order. I was a bit disappointed that the menu had been updated and was different than the one I saw online leaving me to decide again as to what I wanted. I told him I was torn between a burger and the wings. I told him that I originally came for a burger. He asked me how hungry I was and I joked saying I'm always hungry. He then suggested the salmon, the chicken club sandwich and mussels. Lol. I told him "I'll have the cheese burger, medium please NOT medium well, NO mustard or ketchup ON my burger, just ketchup on the side." It came with a choice of regular fries or sweet potato fries. I decided on the sweet potato fries and he said it's great with the garlic aioli sauce. I said that sounds great! Thank you. When my order came the sweet potato fries were soooo good but they forgot the side of garlic aioli. I lifted the bun to add a little ketchup and I notice that on the bun, under the lettuce was the garlic aioli! I showed it to Lawrence and he said he'll have them re make it. I don't like wasting food. Being as though the sauce was not touching the patty because the lettuce was a barrier I decided to just discard the bottom bun which had the sauce and asked for a new piece of lettuce. I figured less carbs plus I was really hungry and didn't want to wait for a new burger. I was happy with my compromise. I waited for the lettuce which took some minutes to come. When I cut into the burger it was well done. I was disappointed but I was so hungry I tried it. It was not to my liking so I called for Lawrence. I apologized and asked if he could have them make me a new burger. Again, I specified the temperature and told him I wanted it a warm pick. He said ok. I waited for about 20mins and nothing. Again, no one else was ordering food at the bar. I waved to get Lawrence's attention because it seem as though he forgot about me. He walked by me, did not stop and said they had to make me a new one. I said it's been quite along time, longer than it took to make the first one. He said he'd go check on it. When the burger comes AGAIN, it's well done! At this point I've waited entirely too long and was hungry so I just had a bite. After about 10 mins Lawrence asked me was it better and I told him no, it's the exact same. He ignored me the remainder of my time there. Never checked to see if I needed anything. Never offered another option, didn't even apologize, lol. He spent the whole time at the other end of the bar, away from me with the other guests. I sat with the burger in front of me and waited. He came to where I was, told his coworker he was going home then asked me if I was ready for the check. At this point about 30mins had past. I said "Oh, you remember that I'm here? Yes, thank you I'll take the bill. You can take this food, it was horrible, thank you!" AGAIN, there were only 3 parties at the bar, including me and the party of two left! I paid my bill AND still gave an undeserving 20% tip. My first time in San Francisco. What a way to remember it! read more

I wanted to give the restaurant four stars but decided not to based on a few issues. First let me say that the food tasted great and was served hot and timely. I had the fish and chips. The portion was good and the fish was prepared well and the fish was fresh and delicious. The sides were good too. We also had the Ciopinno as our other entree. While the meal tasted fine and the seafood was good, this was not Ciopinno. It was really just a seafood pasta dish. A real Ciopinno would be more like a seafood stew or soup. This was not. The dessert was a cheesecake, and it was good enough. The service was lacking, as our server rarely came by and checked on us. It can be hot on a sunny afternoon so make sure to check the weather before you go for lunch, otherwise you will have to bask your way into bright sunshine and lunch at the same time. We got catering for a conference we held at the Hyatt and it is quite pricey for a small non-profit, but there aren't a lot of food options in the immediate area and you're not allowed to bring outside food into the Hyatt. We got the boxed sandwich lunches, which each came with a small container of pasta or potato salad (not too fresh, pretty standard), a Chewy bar, and red washington apple. I got the Spicy Chicken sandwich which came on dutch crunch. The bread was a little cold and hard, and the chicken was not spicy. read more

But we were surprised that it no longer existed with the new remodeling, but we were directed to 3 Sixty which has a great ambiance, private sections like Cabanas for seating. We had a server who was amazing her name was Amal, she was so helpful and friendly. The menu after 10 PM was very limited but we did find something to eat. The only problem we faced was how cold that place was, the seating is in the indoors courtyard, but it was freezing cold, I would assume with such an upscale Restaurant/ Bar, they would invest in some heaters. This is an updated review; my first one was posted from mid-June. My BF and I decided to give this place a second shot and went back again for the NLDS Game 1 (Giants vs. Chicago Cubs). For your records, I still miss Knuckle's, the historical sports bar at Hyatt for the longest time, but closed for business for good. :_( OK, back to the new bar. We were lucky enough to score two consecutive seats at the bar, perfect!! In the beginning, we weren't acknowledged and had to wait a bit, and I was starting to wonder the service hadn't improved one bit since my last review. However, Christopher totally came through and proved us wrong. He was simply excellent, so a big shout out for his personable, friendly attitude, and attentive service. My BF and I both agreed he did a great job looking after his customers, so thanks. Food was decent and quite good actually. We ordered French Onion Soup, Chicken Wings (with buffalo sauce), and a Burger to share. The Lagunitas beer on tap was flavorful and delicious, though that night I only felt like an Earl Grey Tea, but it was all good. Even though Giants lost Game 1 ultimately, 3Sixty totally redeemed itself for hiring such great staff. Now, I'd like to come back again more often for future game watching, thanks to Christopher. Kudos to the management for listening to the customers and making solid improvement. We went yesterday for a pony con. We had a veggie burger, Truffle garlic fries and drinks. Veggie burger, flavors were good but, too dry, (maybe the cook was distracted? Or short staffed?) Fries were on fleek. Really good flavors and not over cooked. Their house salad was simple dark greens with a delicious dressing. Skip the chip and salsa, that a embarrassing appetizer with a smaller sample sizes of guacamole and salsa. Don't get it, not worth the hefty price. I'm staying at the Hyatt Regency. On the night I checked in, had a late night snack of buffalo chicken wings. They were just ok--did the trick, but the meat was dry and they weren't saucy enough. I ate them heartily because I was hungry. Today the weather is crummy and I don't have a car so I figured I'd eat lunch here. Ordered the All American burger, asked for it medium well. Asked if there's a GF bun. They don't have one, but offered GF bread instead. When the burger arrived, it was small and cooked well done. The GF bread tastes ok, but was crumbly (that's not unexpected). The flavor of the burger was standard; underwhelming. The fries were delicious. Service was pleasant and reasonably efficient. The waitress on the first night made an error on the bill, but she fixed it right away and no argument. Ambience is fine. The food isn't horrible, but for the price, I'd go elsewhere given a choice. Also, I'm disappointed by the lack of GF burger buns or pasta. The menu does highlight a few GF items, but a person gets tired of salads after a while and/or doesn't necessarily want to pay over $25 for an overpriced entree to meet dietary restrictions. 3Sixty? I want to do a 180 and go back inside! Burger and Bistro Review 3Sixty has something most places do not - natural light and open space (like 18K sqft of open space with a glass ceiling 50ft above that, one of largest pillar free spaces in all of California). The ongoing hotel renovation upgraded the experience and I'm just surprised how comfortable it is. BAR: Formerly "Knuckles Sports Bar", 3Sixty is the new renovated bar/bistro in the main hotel space, which is a hexagon shaped and rooms scale up the sides. The bar is pretty cool as far as hotel bars go, you've got about 30 feet of strait bar, taps here and there and up above are about 10 LCDs, neck and neck, just the perfect angle and height for you to lean back in your stool, no neck strain. And the there is open space above that and natural light falls around you. Barkeeps where uniforms that say 1st class service. Beers run about $8 bucks. BISTRO: I think most people would enjoy the space. Modern layout...high top tables and stools bask in that same light right next to the bar, but then next tmo that are lounge loke areas, comfortable chairs that echo 60's modern, perfect for gathering, and this area is divided by translucent curtains with subtle design queues that bring everything together, yet provide the separation the space needs....there are no walls, no pillars, no ceiling (ok way way up there is but it might as well be in the clouds). ADJACENT LOUNGE AREA: This is where it gets better...spilling away from the bistro and bar area there are several lounge areas that unfold neatly while maintaining the same open design language, curtains do their tricks again. You'll find TVs, tables, chairs, cushioned benches and you'll realize that this is the lobby area, but being elevated to the second floor is an interesting trick...Hotel check out is below so this area avoids arrival and departure traffic and all that jazz..as a result the space is static...people come to stay...the vibe of 3Sixty while muted is not competing with luggage and people late for flights. But there are conferences go8ng on like most hotels..can make it good if interesting folk come along...like ComiCon folk 3SIXTY CHEDDAR BACON BURGER W/FRIES: The menu has a good selection but I wanted the cheddar burger, they have an impressive one, comes with a fried egg, bacon strips and a mustard sauce...I went for no egg/no sauce, I also got it to go so I could eat in the lounge...neat little trick so you dont have to have a full on dining experince with waiters and tips. Waitress brought the burger in a togo bag to my table on the lounge area. Very kind. I'll say this, that burger hit the spot. I could quibble on the meat, it was ok, more diner quality and for that its overpriced ($18) but the whole package tasted great (if I put bacon on a sock it would taste good). Fries were waffle cut, just the right amount of salt and ketchup, god it was good. Presentation was perfect - plastic mirror chrome banquet utensils wrapped in a ribbon dressed up the affair, taking those home BONUS: 3Sixty is a great place to hang out, bring your Mifi or use theirs, enough outlets for the birds nest of devices and cables you likely have. For a hotel bar, not at all what I expected - so much better. I was exhausted and not sure what I wanted. When I told the amazingly sweet server what I was deciding between, she recommended the Mahi tacos. Wow! Two tacos, each with serious pieces of fish, a nice slice of avocado, tasty salsa on the side and an actual piece of lime (no lame wedge here) and enough cabbage to give it crunch without overwhelming. Spot on and totally hit the spot. And, as for the personnel... friendly, helpful, personable but not over the top, inauthentic friendly. And the music was the right level to add energy but, like the staff, not overdone. read more

Me and some buddies were staying at the Hyatt (5 outa 5 stars for sure) and went for a late dinner around 9:30pm at the 3SIXTY located within said Hyatt and were seated immediately. Which was great... that was the highlight of the experience. keep in mind, they looked to be at about 50% capacity at this point (IE there were a lot of tables open). Took a seat, no waiter for over 20 minutes. People have been sat at tables near us and there waiter has already asked them for food and what not. We go to the hostess she flags down a guy. We made the mistake of just order drinks to start.. after about 5 minutes we spot our drinks on the bar edge. after another 15 minutes pass by they're still on the ledge. We flag the guy down who is bussing and he grabs our drinks. We then have to wait another 10 minutes for our waiter who must have went on a late lunch and finally ordered our food. It's around 10:20pm.. we're at this point still having a good time. Tables around us that were sat well after us were already paying there checks and leaving. Our food comes out 40 minutes later!.. three burgers and some chili fries. We speed eat in about 15-20 minutes. No waiter to be seen. I give this review a 1 star because of the busser who refilled our waters.. otherwise it woulda been a zero. Upon finishing we immediately flagged down the hostess and asked for our check.. understanding now the night crowd is starting to come in. we waited another 15 minutes for our check... the waiter was friendly but not apologetic... he went into the back.... AND WE DIDNT SEE HIM FOR ANOTHER (10)TEN MINUTES. 11:45 end time. I know what you're all thinking, aww lay off they musta been busy. I thought that too.. this just wasn't the case, people were cycling outa there like crazy. Very disappointed in the unbelievable slow service. I travel quite a bit for business, so have a lot of experience with hotel restaurants. This one is unique as their staff is off the charts in terms of customer service. I have never seen anything like it, honestly. Drew, Shanelle and others are so totally "on the ball", quick, responsive and "know their regulars". They have a great breakfast buffet, so kitchen is on top of it as well. You don't normally see this level of service at a hotel restaurant. Kudos to management and staff who are making this happen. Was it a convention in the hotel for the weekend and came down for breakfast. I was seated quickly and efficiently by the hostess but then ignored by the waitstaff. After approximately 12 minutes I gave my order to the waitress. I was waiting another 17 minutes and the hostess had walked by, and I said what is the secret to getting some coffee? She said I can fix you up no problem. And instantly coffee and creamer were at my table. Four minutes after that my order came out, but still with no coffee. I asked the waitress for some Cholula and a coffee refill. She brought the hot sauce but no coffee. The hostess saw that again my coffee was empty and gave me some as well as the two tables closest to me. I only tipped my waitress 10% but I gave my hostess five bucks because I appreciated her good service. I think they have people in the wrong positions here. read more
