Broadway grill has a nice decor & ambiance. It's clean, not noisy, & pretty newly appointed. The live music was just the right decibel level, as we easily could speak & hear each other. The service is excellent. A pleasant hostess & server was attentive & explained the food well. They have very good gluten free options. I left comments about each dish in the individual photos. It was solid overall. I have to say a lot of the food was under seasoned, particularly lacking salt. Not to nitpick, but the salt & pepper dispensers didn't dispense well. It was $154 without tip. We had the best dinner here last night! We were looking for a place near the airport and were blown away by the creative, fresh and delicious menu options and the attentive and kind service. We live all the way in San Jose but plan to drive up and come back one night for live music. We loved the bread, beet salad, mushrooms and dumplings. We had a reservation for 8 people. They had prepared a table for when we arrived. The staff and the menus were pretty weird. They had one menu for brunch, one for lunch and dinner and one for specials. I think they all should be one. Ordering food got a bit complicated. The service was not persistent also. For the most part, I wished I had a cup of water in front of me they did bring crayons and kids menu, that my son really loved. We also asked them to serve a cake for birthday, which they were super nice and accommodating. I ordered fish with risotto. The fish was tasty but risotto was not crunchy. Yes, it needed seasoning but I get to control the salt and pepper which is what I like. The mashed potato was light, not heavy with butter. The corn was sweet. First time at Broadway Grill and what an experience! I went as part of a state conference and was invited by one of the vendors. I was able to enjoy several of their plates. The first plate was their Beet Salad Arugula with roasted beets. currants. toasted almond, goat cheese, and a strawberry vinaigrette. Then, I had their grilled Prawns followed by their Crispy Brussels Sprouts which came with a delicious sauce. The meal continued with theirRye Bread which was Lithuanian rye. garlic butter. parmesan cheese, and aioli. The food kept coming and the service was great. Several servers were on staff getting us drinks and dropping off delicious dishes. I also had their Mushrooms with Provolone & Spinach as well as their Mushroom Ravioli in truffle cream and their Blackened Rokfish with Ratatouille & Risetto. The last great meal was their Grilled Chicken with Bell Pepper, Zucchini with Pesto & Mash Potatoes and Buckwheat. So much food but in small quantities to ensure that my palate was enjoying all this food and my stomach was satisfied. The final touch was when they brought dessert. The service was good, food came out fast, I ordered the filet and they were very accommodating with substituting a side even though I just asked to remove an item. The server quickly offered me to replace it with something else, I didn't want to bother them with that so it was nice he just offered. I also ordered a Cosmo and as soon as I saw the color (hint of orange, not the beautiful chilled pink) I knew it was not going to be good. This past Sunday, October 5th, I was thrown a surprise birthday party I'll never forget -- and it all happened here. To say I was joyfully overwhelmed would be an understatement. From the moment I walked in, it was clear how thoughtfully and seamlessly everything had been put together. Behind any successful event, especially one for a crowd of 100, are countless moving parts -- and this team nailed every single one. Huge thanks to the incredible owners, Asta and Ziggy, and the top-tier waitstaff, Kat and Allie, whose professionalism and warmth made the evening flow effortlessly. Shout-out, too, to the behind-the-scenes crew who made it all look easy. We were treated to delicious hors d'oeuvres followed by a nine-course meal (yes, nine!) paired with red and white wine. Dessert was an indulgent spread of cookies, brownies, chocolate mousse, and pear crumble. While we dined and celebrated, a heartfelt slideshow played on three screens -- thanks to Ziggy, who even had to troubleshoot a few tech hiccups to make it happen. The night wrapped up with a live performance by my favorite local band, Georgia Blues, who bring their magic to the venue every other month.
