Opened two months ago (date of review 26 Sept 2019), this is part of a Chain of Streakhouses that has locations in Hong Kong, Shanghai & Tokyo.
Set up is modern contemporary, with a focus on wood tones that give a warm and inviting feeling, with highlights of moss green seatings, makes the space warm and cozy!
Food is also a blend of traditional & contemporary fusion, we started with 1/2 Dozen of Scottish Oysters from Cumbria, light & refreshing, not overly creamy, with a crisp texture, a perfect match with our Sauvigon Blanc from New Zealand.
USDA Strip Loin was paired with a light Teriyaki Sauce, served alongside ratatouille & steamed Japanese Rice. The steak was cooked according to my request: Medium Rare, I love the lightness of the Teriyaki Sauce that did not steal the show, and was just savory enough to enhance the meat.
Roasted Miso Marinated Black Cod Served with Japanese Rice & Seaweed Purée, fish was cooked to perfection, still juicy and very tender, the Seaweed Purée gives a new dimension to the notion of having the umami of seaweed blend perfectly with the fish!
The lunch set which comes with a Starter, Main & Dessert is at HK$198.00 / US$25.26 / CAD$33.47 / JPY¥2,717.37!
This is our first try and with an outstanding venue and view, I am planning to be back to try out more on their menu!
Since this location is relatively new, I am giving them a break for some of the mishaps with their service, overall, they are still polite & courteous.
Parking is free with validation, just bring your dining bill to the service counter. read more
