Calamari, wings, salmon bites

This is a great little pub. Used to be called the spot which was a craft local pub for years. The specials were excellent and the drinks were on point. Servers were good and the ambience is what you would want on a pub.

Let me start by saying it's very nicely decorated, and all the staff members were beyond helpful. Small parking lot shared with a busy liquor store, so took a while to park. 25 minute wait for a table. Its front door was constantly open so it was cold inside. Tables are close and it's so loud, we couldn't hear each other. We had warm bread with honey butter, which was amazing.Heres where it went down hill... smash burger on a Joe Leone bun, sounded delicious but smelled bad, like rotting meat- not flavored and tasted horrible. So couldn't finish. The onion rings were delicious. Eggplant sandwich had no flavor and was actually so bad my daughter wouldn't eat it. Her boyfriend had fish n chips and said it was just okay and he's had better out of a freezer. Needless to say this was a one and done

Came back for my MIL's birthday on a busy Saturday night. We didn't do a table side celebration after hearing the happy birthday song 5 times in 10 minutes. We didn't make reservations so we waited over an hour for a table (our fault, obviously.) You're able to follow a list on your phone, and we watched the list get smaller but then our name disappeared and nobody came to get us or tell us our table was ready. We were just removed. My FIL went up front to ask what's going on and it was a scramble of "oh... our bad... I guess we'll seat you." So if you get on the wait list pay close attention. Service from there out was kind of awful. The heat was pumping it was uncomfortable. Got our first round of drinks fairly quick. Ordered wings as an appetizer but never received them. I asked for salsa verde 3 times before it was finally given to me - after I was almost done my food anyway, which btw was carne asada tacos that were dry and dusty. I needed the salsa just to add some flavor. We were left with empty drinks until halfway through our entrees when I finally was able to get our server's attention to ask again for my salsa verde and another round. Overall felt forgotten and dismissed by everybody EXCEPT the bartender that quickly gave me my first margarita while we waited for a table. That credit card fee is a nuisance and should have a cap on it. $12 processing fee my a$$ lol I hope this is my last review of this place.

Lobster Lounge - Lobster Cobb salad was more than enough food. It was well seasoned and very meaty. Good price.

This place brought back such memories 50 years ago was the last time i was here with my parents i had the salisbury steak my dad had t bone and my mom too. Yes i have such a great memory when it comes to beautiful times with people i love the most. New owners new restaurants new menu. I did relive my memeries But overall the food is good And the service is excellent Nicolette our waitress was such a lovely wonderful young lady who made our dining experience really delightful and we will definitely return. Thank you so much to our waitress.i always have emphasized how important it is to have. Good front house staff and this place has is. Our waitress made us felt so welcomed and very attentive. I really was happy. You can have great food but without a great staff you dont have nothing. This staff is great. I know my stuff ive been a head chef for over 30 years and a restaurant consultant and i recommend this place i think they deserve it.but the crab seem to have a old frozen taste something was off but it was ok. and the cake come on that pre-boxed frozen chocolate cake. I dont like to be taken by no-one. But i did have a nice time thank you

Probably the best restaurant I went to in Seaside Heights (and overall one of the better…read morerestaurants on the boardwalk). Lobster Lounge is a bi-level seafood restaurant with the top level overlooking the water. We ordered oysters, coconut shrimp, and a giant pretzel to start and I ordered a cold lobster roll. Pretty decent food - I think the apps were the star of the show here. Our waitress, I forgot her name, was super sweet and accommodating. They have high chairs for children and stickers were given to the kids at my table. Would recommend if you're visiting the Jersey Shore!

The Strand - We have a full bar for our guests!

A mixed drink with a great pour size, and a bottle of soda was $12 - which is cheaper than most venues considering it was a full bottle and we go to keep the cap and the mixed drink was large. We saw "The Carpenters", which I saw a while back at the Algonquin theater. I wanted to see the show again because it was so good, but this show was like listening to the B-side of a 45. I can't even tell you how disappointed I was that they didn't play many hits. She sang covers from other artists and not so popular hits. I personally found it strange the way the show began with the guy running the strand, coming on stage with a piece of paper talking, and then having us stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. I have no problems saying the Pledge of Allegiance, but I just found the whole thing odd. I've never gone to any other musical event or show where they had everyone stand up and say the Pledge of Allegiance prior to the event. I also had a rude person seating us. I thought I had bought center orchestra, but it turned out that I bought center tier and when I told him I just wanted to look at my phone to verify what I had purchased because I thought my tickets were wrong. He got nasty with me and told me that's what your ticket said that's what you bought and I told him to just give me a minute so I could just look it up on my phone to verify and it wasn't like he had anything else to do or he was seating anyone else I didn't ask him to wait with me. I understood that my tickets were for the tier, but before I climb the stairs to the top, I wanted to make sure that I got the correct tickets from Will call, but instead of just letting me be, he felt the need to argue with me when there was no argument to be had, and him finally walking away, saying whatever. Other than him all the other people working there were great. This was just one experience but normally I never have any problems there.
