Amazing ambiance my boyfriend and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary. Food was delicious as well

The restaurant is the way to go for the experience, more comfortable views, and tower access. The food is not quite to the level of the price you pay and doesn't wow you but in my overall opinion it's worth every penny. You do get amazing views, a rotating restaurant, and ok food. It was a really nice experience. So not the best food but it the presentation was spot on. Getting up to the restaurant and into the CN tower was quite a bit of a challenge. I do recommend adding additional trafic time and time to go through the line as everyone goes through the same security. You get a bit of a fast pass with your advanced purchase tickets (required through your reservations), and once cleared through security screening there is a private elevators for just the restaurant. We were greeted and checked in upon arriving to the restaurant. It was my bday and we were from Ohio celebrating so they sat us at those awesome tables right next to the windows. For food, we started with the Thuet Artisanal Bread basket ($6 CAD) and it serves two but it would also work for 3 or 4 if you just wanted a bite. We both went with the 3 course Prix Fixe menu ($90 CAD each). There were a few selections to choose from each category and there is a 2 course Prix Fixe menu and A la carte and a children's menu as well. Our 3 Course selections were: 1. Heirloom Tomato Salad -Verjus and peach vinaigrette, pickled wild mushrooms, little red gem lettuce for myself, and my partner had the Duck Wings - Black garlic & mustard seed maple, porcini dust, crispy chilies, ginger. 2. We both went with the Roast Prime Rib (extra + $15 CAD to Meal) - It's described as aged 45 days, 10oz-cut, natural jus, with mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus. Mine was prep right but my parters was overdone. 3. For dessert, I did the Coconut Crème Brûlée and my partner went with the Chocolate Opera - Espresso mousse, brown butter sponge, caramel. That Crème Brûlée was perfect and that peach was a nice touch. The peace and relaxing dining experience and views was worth the meal spend over the standard ticketed prices. Definitely recommend this and general observation admission (with min spend) is included. Even though we checked that other level out it was crazy busy and found ourselves appreciating that we did the relaxing dinner. In summary, it really was a great experience with good service but the meal was good but overpriced and still consider it worth it. Dinner with a view? Yes, please! Every major city seem to have some sort of observatory deck that overlooks the city. The CN tower is that in Toronto. The 360 restaurant is right above the observation deck. The restaurant rotates around so you will eventually get a "360" view of the entire Toronto skyline. Pretty cool feature! You can make a reservation online, but I would recommend doing it in advance because the prime lunch/dinner slots tend to be booked already! Each person is required to spend at least 75CAD. I guess it beats spending 45CAD per ticket at the observatory alone for just the ticket! There is a prix fixe menu as well. Anyway, the food itself was okay. Definitely not as great as the price tag that came with it. The service was spectacular, and the view was amazing! Appetizer: smoked salmon (3.5/5) - the salmon tasted fresh, but doesn't have much flavor! Entree: sablefish (3.5/5) - the fish had a wonderful presentation, but again lacked much flavor. We were a bus tour so I understand price fixe menu and service. We elevators ip and were seated immediately. View was spectacular. We were allowed a drink non-alcoholic but no refills. They were very strict on this. No coffee was served until after entree. And only one cup. The menu said my salmon appetizer had pumpernickel bread but non was included. This totally changed the balance of the dish. In fact no bread was served at all. We laughed they had a bread plate and a bread knife but no bread. Food was delicious except for the above. The food is solid, not outstanding. You're paying for the amazing views, the service and the relaxed vibes. It's a treat to go and I had a really nice time visiting twice this year with my nieces and nephew. It's a very cool experience if you want to spoil somebody. The experience at the restaurant is a much better experience than just going up to the CN tower to see the views. I recommend doing this with kids. read more

I treated myself to a solo early dinner here on a Wednesday evening. The real draw to this restaurant is the gorgeous view of the city while you're dining. I opted for an early dinner so it wouldn't be too crowded while I was there. Food: I ordered two courses. I got the mushroom soup and the soba noodles, both vegetarian. I also ordered the bread basket for one. The mushroom soup was my favorite of the evening, but both items were delicious. The portion sizes were amazing, and I was stuffed by the time I was done. Service: My server was the nicest guy ever. I hope I remembered his name right, but I believe it was Charlie. He was very friendly and checked up on me regularly. While I was eating my first course of soup, he came back with more soup for me because he thought they gave me too small of a portion of soup. That was very sweet of him. I also enjoyed that I was able to walk around the viewing deck on the floor below after I was done with dinner. We had a great time at the rotating restaurant at CN Tower. It is definitely pricey but the food is honestly worth it. The meat we ate was amazingly tender. Also, definitely get the ice wine if you aren't from Canada as it is such a treat! The waiter was so kind and asked us if we were celebrating. We were on our anniversary and at the end of the night he brought out an anniversary opera cake free of charge. Probably the best part outside the food is you get to fast track to the viewing decks after dinner for amazing views of the Toronto skyline. We made our reservation at the perfect time to watch the sun go down and then see all the amazing lights of the buildings. read more

This review is difficult, because I wish I could split it up by category. View/atmosphere: A million stars, all of the stars, infinity stars. My jaw literally dropped when I saw the view from our table. It was absolutely stunning. Honestly, I would go just for that. We went at night and I HIGHLY recommend it. The restaurant rotates, so you get to see the entire view. You also get access to the observation deck after your meal. Service: 5 stars. We asked if we could possibly have a window seat as we were celebrating our honeymoon. They not only accommodated that, but wrote "congratulations" in chocolate on our desert plate. Our server was nice, offered recommendations, and provided a great experience. Food: 3.5 stars. The pre-fixed menu didn't have a ton of options. Even with three courses (and we also added bread), we were both still a little hungry because the portions were so small. The food was just okay. The steak was pretty fatty, and my creme brûlée tasted burnt (although the coconut was a nice touch). My husband absolutely loved the duck wings and the basil fruit dessert. He still talks about the wings and it's been over a week. Overall, a great experience. However, it is definitely more about the experience than the food. If you're looking for a memorable night out, I would HIGHLY recommend putting this at the top of your list. I couldn't possible recommend it more highly. To celebrate my retirement a couple weeks ago, Gord took us to 360, the revolving restaurant at the CN Tower, for supper. The restaurant is 351 metres (1,151 feet) above the ground. It completes one rotation every 72 minutes ... we went around twice. I started with a CN Tower lager ... fun can! I ordered Roast Prime Rib of Beef (Aged 45 days, 10oz-cut cooked medium well), natural jus, mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus (I asked for the asparagus on the side for Gord as I'm not a fan). The potatoes were kind of cold and the steak was a bit burnt (I'd asked for medium/well) and not overall tender. Gord ordered King Cole Duck Breast (foie gras, jus, partridgeberry gastrique) and Foraged Mushrooms (white wine, butter, thyme). He said his was good. We shared a dessert of raspberry ice cream and macarons ... and this was delish! Chris and Hamid took excellent care of us and it was a lovely time. read more

On balance, I don't recommend eating here when you can get the view on the observation deck just below without getting ripped off. Okay, the bread comes out right away, which is great. But when the best part of the meal is the bread, that isn't good. It was downhill from there. I started with an octopus salad then I got the steak (which was overcooked, I ordered it medium rare and it come out a strong medium). I don't even remember what the dessert was, other than tasteless. Here's what really bugged me ... the service. It was actually annoying. They hawk over you. I could barely finish a thought during conservation where there wasn't someone jamming more wine into our glasses to get us to finish faster, or asking us multiple times if we were done when there was clearly still food on our plate. While superfically "polite" (it's Canada, after all) because there were always the "please" and "thank you" qualifiers during all verbal interactions, they were also very annoying. "Are you done? Of course sir, thank you, sir, thank you so much, ok sir" .. like, not to let my Jersey-guy out, but ... shut up and go away. You're a gnat. In short, the place is a rip off. I should have eaten at Boston Pizza. Both the whole in my stomach AND wallet would have been a lot smaller at least. read more

This place did not disappoint. You always feel like these restaurants wouldn't be as great when they become the tourist thing to do. We decided to make reservations here since our 3 course dinner would also include the ticket to the Observatory. The service was great and fast with our drinks along with the beautiful view of the skyscrapers, waterfront and sunset. It takes the restaurant approximately 72minutes to do a full circle around the tower and you'll get a different view. Once dinner is over they have an entry directly from the restaurant straight to the observatory where you get to just wander around at your own leisure. Part of it was/is under renovation so I am not certain if you are able to step outside at any time. read more

WELL worth paying the higher prices for food to avoid all of the lines to visit CN Tower, and to get an experience like no other. The view from the restaurant was incredible, and rotating slowly really allowed us to experience the whole city. Not sure if the service was particularly slow to let us enjoy ourselves, but our dinner ran almost 3 hours, which was a bit on the long end for our liking. The food was definitely up to par, though, and we enjoyed everything - the potato leek soup, the crab and roasted red pepper salad, the cavatelli, harissa chicken, chocolate mousse, and flan. All were absolutely delicious, very filling, and presented amazingly. Once you've had the experience once, I'm not sure it's the type of thing I'd go back to - but the food was definitely worthy of a return trip! read more

There seems to be mixed reviews on 360 for some reason, but this experience far exceeded my expectations. To start, it's a no-brainer to eat at 360 for the admission to the observation deck alone. Tickets cost $45 while free admission via 360 comes after spending $75 on food. For a $30 difference, you get a delicious meal AND get to skip the line/avoid the crowds. The restaurant really is spectacular and truthfully, the views from the observation deck just didn't compare. With floor to ceiling windows and moving on a slow rotation, you get to see the city in such a unique way. Plus, you get at least a hearty 2 course meal on top of it. By far the highlight of our Toronto trip. read more

We shared a toffee pudding that was like my grandmas - perfectly prepared and right size to share with a latte. We did not have reservations but were easily accommodated by super friendly, professional associate that were attentive and never made us feel rushed. We dined and spun around the skies of Toronto on our own little world for about an hour and a half and then went down stairs to the observation deck for more views. Incredible views of Toronto and a must do at least once in life while visiting the city. I 100% recommend you eating at the restaurant instead of just going up there because: 1) you get to go up there for free* 2) you'll get a better view and more time to see everything 3) Not crowded and you have premium access 4) The food is actually good! 5) with the 2 course meal deal ($75) you get the main food + dessert, for exemple, and hit the minimum amount you must spend. To visit the tower you'll pay $43 (adult) to access the Main Observation Level. If you want to go higher to the Skypod you can pay $10 extra once there and go up. The Skypod + Main Observation Level tickets are $53 + taxes. If you decide to eat the restaurant, you must spend a minimum of $75 per person on food (excluding 12yo and under). So, $75 - $43 = $32 for the food, per person. But you're not just paying for the food with that price, you're also paying for a less crowded experience, nice views, good food, and access to the main observation level as well. You'll also skip the big line! They'll take you through a different path and a separate elevator. Once up there you'll get your table and a nice view. IMPORTANT: The table's area move around so you will have a 360 view of Toronto. It can take a while to get used to it and you'll feel it moving. It can be bad if you have motion sickness fyi. On their menu, they have a 2 course ($75) and a 3 course ($90) meal option, as well as a La carte options. If you pick the 2 course meal which is the minimum you must spend there anyway, you can pick 2 between appetizers, main and dessert. My husband and I chose the main and dessert. He picked the HONEY-RUBBED CHICKEN SUPREME and I got the AGED PRIME RIB (extra $15). And the chicken was better than the steak! I regretted getting the steak and paying extra for it because the chicken was way better! The steak was warm and ok but not worth the $15 extra I had to pay. Then we got the desserts. Husband ordered the STICKY MAPLE TOFFEE BUNDT and I got the CHOCOLATE AND SOUR CHERRY CAKE. And again, my husband's food was better lol. The sticky maple dessert is amazing: hot and cold, soft and crunchy, sweet and sour at the same time! A must try! The chocolate cake in the other hand was dry and not very special. We also got the bread basket with butter and chives. It was good but I probably wouldn't get it again. The bread arrived after our food which wasn't ideal. This really was a fantastic experience and ambience. The service was great and they did a great job pacing the meal so you had time to enjoy the views and experience. The Whipped Goat cheese app was phenomenal paired with the artisan bread for an addition $6. The only reason for 4 stars was our entrees were both not fantastic. We had the lamb shank where the meat was missing seasoning and I felt could of used a sauce of some kind. The prime rib was a little rougher than we like for a prime rib but the sides on both dishes were good. We did have to salt the entrees, and I never use salt so they were a little under seasoned. As a born and raised Toronto local, I always find it funny that many of us have never been up the CN Tower, and if so only once when we were kids. So when we needed a marquee restaurant for a special group dinner, this was a great spot to choose! First thing to note when you're coming here is that you also get to visit the observation deck and glass floor, so that's baked into the price you're paying at the restaurant. Plus the views! The 360 idea was great as we rotated a couple times during dinner and go to see so many angles of Toronto, it was pretty cool to see. Onto the food - it's not going to blow you away given the high prices, but once again you're paying for the experience. We got the fixed price menu which includes a main + either app or dessert for $70, and you can upsize to special apps and add on a dessert for extra. Here's the meal rundown: - cocktails were pretty good, fave was probably the lemon tartlet, and the peachy keen / smoke & mirrors were good too (they are more famous for their wine collection which we didn't sample) - house bread was ok - didn't like that it was cold and it came with your average grocery store butter - apps were decent, i liked the seafood chowder best but unfortunately it also came a little on the cold side for my taste, and the gnocchi / salads were fine - mains were the best part - cod was good and came with a nice celery purée and beurre blanc, asian-style salmon was very solid, and prime rib was solid as well Overall would say it was a fun novel experience for a special occasion or group dinner. The food is obviously pricy for the quality (average to good) but it was fun to hang out around the CN tower afterwards, explore a bit, take in the views and take pictures. First things first, this is a tourist trap and probably way overpriced. That being said, it's fun to go once and we enjoyed our meal here. Located at the CN Tower, eating here doubles as a visit to the observation deck which in itself requires admission. The restaurant turns and allows you to get a 360 degree view of the Toronto area ever 72 minutes. The best value here is the prix fixe (75/2 or 90/3). The family got various things which all were pretty good - seafood chowder, duck wings were all good. The indigenous prix fixe was also pretty good - butternut squash soup, braised bison rib and custard dessert were all excellent. Entrees were also well done with the prime rib being the best of the bunch. The service here was very good and eating here gives you a nice way to see Toronto from up high. Hitting the observation deck one flight below for free was a nice touch. This is the funner and classier way to visit the CN Tower. No standing in line for general admission ($43 adult). We were escorted directly to the restaurant elevators. We opted for a lunch reservation assuming that we can see further in daylight. However, we ended up going on a rainy day so we were in and out of the clouds. It was still pretty darn cool. The main attraction for the restaurant is that it rotates (72 min for a full rotation). There's a $75 minimum purchase per head. We did the $75 / 2 course pre fixe per adult and $40 / 3 course pre fixe per child. The food was decent, but you don't really come here for the food. Although I was impressed by the kids steak frites. That was a decent plate of food as opposed to the usual chicken fingers and limb hamburgers in kids menus. read more

Our friends recommended we meet up here and have dinner. We had reservations for 5:30 PM and upon arrival we went to coat check. We rode the elevator up to the restaurant and were seated promptly. Our server was Chi and he was attentive and funny. He asked about food allergies, explained menu and asked for drink orders. The atmosphere in the revolving restaurant was very welcoming, chill and social. It was cool seeing Toronto from all sides while enjoying a 5 star meal. We had various items but the highlights for me were the lamb shank and toffee cake. I wanted to lick our plates clean for both of these. The lamb was falling off the bone it was so tender. If I could change one thing, however I would've had more seasoning for lamb. Otherwise it was delicious. I can not recommend the toffee cake enough. It just felt as though it belonged in my mouth. I can't even find the words. The experience was really nice and the backdrop of Toronto lights in the background was amazing. Must do when you're in Toronto ! We had a lovely dinner though it was very pricey...need to spend $75 (price fix for 2) or more and then entrance to the observation level is complimentary. We tried the carrot salad, bread, salmon, 10oz strip loin, honey rubbed chicken supreme & lamb shank. The portions were pretty filling and prepared quickly. Our servers were attentive and made sure to fill our water. After dinner, went downstairs to check out the view. Sadly, our view was obstructed by the fog but we enjoyed it anyway. I had really low expectations coming in for dinner- with any tourist spot I was ready to eat mediocre food in a beautiful setting. I was happily misinformed- the food wasn't the best (limited options) but it also wasn't bad. We had the salmon app, cesser salad, steak, monk fish, carrots, sweet potatoe fries, choco cherry cake as well as pudding cake. My FAVOURITE definitely would be the butterscotch pudding cake (I think they call it something else). Second the fries, and salmon app- the monkfish was well cooked but I found the portion to be quite large so didn't really get to enjoy the sides. The service was AMAZING- our service Philip was attentive, and kind- any "issue" we had was immediately taken care of without even a second thought and they really went above and beyond with food service. He was also kind enough to check in on my as upon initial arrival when I looked down and saw the movement I got a little dizzy- he checked in to ensure that it had settled. I wouldn't come back for the food- but if I had any out of towners wanting a different experience I would definitely do this again! read more

5 Stars for the View and service 3 Stars for the food itself This is an excellent place to hangout with your friends who are new to Toronto. We made reservations ahead of time, and we got to skip all the lineups. There was a MASSIVE lineup and when we showed our restaurant reservations the staff rolled out the red carpet before my friends and myself, and got led to the elevator where we went up. The ingredients and the menu were top tier. And something is telling me that the high altitude somehow messed with my taste buds, and the way that the food itself cooked, because the food had impeccable presentation, I could tell there was love and passion put into each dish. But, the duck wings were really dry, the steak and pork chop were both chewy and tough. But the steak was medium rare - so I really think the altitude has something to do with this. The blueberry sauce on the porkchop was so cool! and so tasty, it pretty much saved the pork chop, and I took it as inspiration, I started using wild berries and jams on my meats since I ate that meal. So I love that it gave me that cool idea. I'm also assuming that the kitchen in CN tower might be crammed and maybe they don't have all the right tools to work with. So I don't want to discredit them. If those same chefs took that same menu and cooked in a conventional restaurant on ground level, I'm sure it would have been 5/5. read more
