What I loved most about this place was how chill everything was. We found the car on the lot, and then found the sales person to test drive two vehicles (the Ford and a Suburban). We drove them and then decided to think on it overnight which was no problem. I repeat, NO PROBLEM. There was no "so what can I do to get you in a car today?" or "BUT WAIT! What if we add _____?" The next day my fiance went back and had the car inspected, which didn't bring up any issues. The negotiation process was painless, and he drove away with that car that night.

Mind you it's a Patriot they wanted 10,500 out the door with an interest rate of 29.9% with 140k miles. Anyways I tell my friend it's not worth it. The PATRIOTS are known for bad transmission mind you he didn't let him test drive the car but wanted him to sign paperwork asap. I convince my friend not to get the car he's only 18 so he doesn't know much. Any ways ANDRE came rushing out the dealership yelling at me saying racial slurs calling me a "NI**ER" Multiple times a "FA**OT" also saying " YOU WONT GET OUT THE CAR AND FIGHT ME" "GET OUT AND FIGHT NI**ER" banging on my car door trying to get in very hostile he goes in for a punch while my window was down hitting my shoulder then proceeded with saying "GET OFF MY LOT NI**ER" as all the employees just watched I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND A CAR FROM HERE AT ALL THEY TRY TO RIP YOU OFF AND GET UPSET WHEN YOU CATCH ON THEIR LITTLE GAMES.

I would say stick to the nicer used car dealerships in the area that have gurantees and warrantys built into the sale. United Auto Group does not for a reason. There has been so many things wrong with the vehicle I bought from them, and the engine went out after a month. I am in a lot of debt now. But mostly I should have stuck to my gut and moved on from the purchase. The truck had been sitting there for 10 months and could not sold. They had an excuse for everything. I needed a very hard to find hatchback window for my Toyota wagon, and there were only 4 in the country. And at the point where I had all but given up getting one because of the cost of shipping, Isaiah said on the phone Isaiah that they just got a whole hatchback in the day before. And he quoted a low price for it, $150. Overjoyed I went out to pick it up, planning to have a body shop install it with all its many electrical connections. Phil pulled the hatchback off the wrecked Toyota, and Isaiah said they would install it for me. I never asked! But he said that I would need to do the electrical myself, which involved a lot of time to remove so many plastic panels to get access. However between both Phil and Isaiah, they did the electrical connections too! I was dumbfounded with appreciation for what they did, service way way beyond the call. He was not knowledgeable about the Forester I was test driving and was unable to answer questions. However, he was a young man, presuming without much experience, so he got a pass. When I returned to the dealership, I made an offer on the vehicle. Israel wrote the price down on a blank piece of paper and asked me to sign it. I declined, saying that if I ended up buying the vehicle, I would sign the actual paperwork. He took my offer back to the "finance guy." The "finance guy," turned out to be an aggressive middle-aged man with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle tattooed on his arm. He came out and asked me where my offer came from. Super classy, right? I simply told him that was what I was willing to pay for the vehicle. He continued with his snarky comments. I stood up and walked out. Since my experience at Kendall Subaru, I have been treated to the blank piece of part signing tactic and the rude "where did your offer come from" question at another dealership. It seems that these thugs all receive the same lousy training. This is precisely why they will continue losing customers to outfits such as CarMax. There are far too many folks like me, who are neither interested, nor impressed by manipulation and aggression.
