Here are the facts: - Brought the vehicle in on Tuesday 8/4 - it was returned on Thursday 8/6 - the odometer had 131 miles added since I dropped it off and my tank was empty. Brought it in with a little over half a tank. - The car pulled to the left when engaging my lane keep assist system, so the calibration was not done correctly. - I was told the technician had to do a lot of "testing" and had trouble getting it the stay centered in the lane. - A lane keep test should only take 5 - 10 miles, how did they rack up 131? Did they test it 15 times?? - I told TJ in the service department about the situation, he gave me a very nice MDX loaner and assured me they would fix my vehicle. TJ was honestly great. - my vehicle was returned 7 days later on 8/13, I was told their calibration machine had an issue. - I paid $3,500 for the brakes and camera service, it took them 9 days, and I have reason to believe they were joyriding my vehicle. That amount of milage for "testing" when clearly the testing never occurred. Otherwise my vehicle would have been working perfectly when it was returned the first time. Customers go to dealerships and pay higher prices because we expect the best quality, expertise, and service. I didn't receive those things, so why would I go back to the dealer and pay their prices? If you're considering Cater Acura of Lynnwood, I would reconsider. Oil changes, brake jobs, easy things are probably fine. Throw an air tag in your car.
