360 Aquatic is an amazing store. Dan has the largest selection of tropical fish around and the store is always clean. Huge selection of healthy plants, hard scape, and equipment as well as co2 regulators and tons of lights. Brandon, Austin, and Justin were all great and quick to help. Follow them on socials for flash sales! read more

360 Aquatic has quickly become our favorite fish store around Houston. Not only do they have an abundant variety of fish, but they also sell aquatic plants, tanks, heaters, lights, water treatment chemicals, water test kits, fish food, and bacteria water for new aquariums! It's a very unassuming store in the middle of a bunch of warehouses. Parking can be tricky since there are "No Parking" signs scattered throughout the lot - you won't have a problem finding a spot, it just might be a little farther down. The store itself is also quite small, which is surprising for how much they sell inside it. Our most recent visit was on Black Friday during one of their sales, and it got really tight inside to the point I almost got claustrophobic. We met Shay on our first visit and she has always been extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She really knows her stuff (understatement) and has made us a plethora of recommendations on various projects, from recovering an aquarium to starting a brand new one. Every time we come back, we ask for her! I definitely recommend 360 Aquatic for any of your fish or aquarium needs. This place is the reason I pivoted from fake plastic plants in my aquarium to now a series of live aquatic plants that have grown! We also recently upgraded fish tanks and bought a 20-gallon all-in-one and a 5-gallon all-in-one tank from here. The staff helped us throughout that process and recommended us on what to buy with it, so by the time we got home, the guesswork was minimal. read more

After driving across town to finally check this place out. I passed multiple employees and they all seemed too busy to greet or even ask if they can help with anything. Completely felt ignored. They do have a good display and selection of fish though. Just wish the customer service was there. read more

We really like the large inventory of plants and fresh water fish. Very clean and spacious. Our family is coming back to get a couple more fantails! read more

Although it's a small space, there is a PLETHORA of plants and fish species. Went here with my boyfriend, and we were so entranced by the vibes. It honestly felt like a museum to me. I was excited about the plants to use in aquascaping! Definitely in my top three for Houston fish stores. read more

Super fun fish store! This place is over by my husbands work, and I've been dying to go! Totally we finally made that happen. I had been wanting a female Betta and had a tank cycling that was ready for fish! They had such an amazing selection with super fair prices. We were helped very quickly and had such fun just taking it all in and seeing all the different fish and plants. Can't wait to come back! Even if you're not super in to fish, I think anyone would enjoy looking around, but definitely buy some fish!! read more

I love this place! The owner Dan is very nice and the staff are always ready to help. Some of the same products are a bit more expensive at the store vs online so I don't know if i'd get any packaged foods from here but this place is exceptional with livestock. always healthy and beautiful fish and a huge selection of Rocks and wood for your tank and a lot of plants. I really LOVE this place. read more

360 Aquatic - Local Fish Stores Near Me - Houston, Texas

The only reason I have to give them 4 instead of 5 stars is because I wish they had a bigger selection of bettas. But aside from that, this place is spectacular and the tanks are always in great condition which is appreciated. read more

Great fish and amazing plants. They also have anything you need for a fish tank, along with fish tanks for sale. Great place!!!

360 aquatic is an absolute must to visit if you are into the aquarium hobby or even interested in seeing beautiful tanks. The staff are attentive and kind, the prices are fair and diverse for different budget ranges, the fish/plants are absolutely thriving and beautiful, and the whole shop is packed with extraordinary tanks. I've been to several fish stores and have never seen many of the fish this store carries. Inside you'll find foreground/background plants, an assortment of shrimp, many bottom feeders, all types of fish, and hardscape by the pound. The inside feels a tad crammed but you can always come early to dodge busy hours. Fantastic store! read more

This is my new fish store!!! Everyone else just happens to be there LOL. They have a very broad selection of fish and huge amounts and variety of plants. For planted tank guru's this is an excellent place to shop for your aqua scaping needs. These folks are very nice to deal with and knowable. read more

Honestly an amazing fish shop! You can tell the quality is superior by their quarantine area and process. Fair prices, friendly service although can be hard to navigate during a rush. I appreciate this one lady whom gave me a free bag of brine shrimp to try out on my community after I expressed my curiosity for them and I didn't know if my fish would take. However they loved them!! Will definitely be back weekly for a batch, thank you !! read more

These guys made a mistake on what they charged for the plants I purchased. which they admitted after showing them their own posted price. It should have been easy enough to correct, but they claimed it was their store policy not to accept returns. I told them I did not want to return any item, I just wanted them to give back the excess amount they had charged which they refused. They insisted I had to take a store credit, even though I repeatedly told them I was not interested in taking an in-store credit. The facility is nice enough, sadly they acted in such a poor manner. read more

good selection of fish excellent customer service and wide variety of different aquatic plants

They are busy. They have a nice selection of fish and plants. If you do not mind being ignored and unable to get any assistance, this is probably your ideal place. I will not be back. read more

This is the best kept secret! Yes, it's busy, yes it's crowded... Because it's amazing! Fantastic community tanks with healthy fish! It was nice to be able to see which fish work well together. Excellent selection. Prices were great as well. I have been doing a lot of shopping recently looking for some specific fish and they had everything I wanted. And then... The plants! I have just started using CO2 in my aquariums and needed some new plants to replace the ones that I killed previously. Then excellent selection, no snails, everything I want. I will be using them as my go to place. On top of all of that, the people were great. The staff was pleasant and helpful, even though they were crazy busy. And everybody shopping was very polite and tried to make everything accessible. Definitely not like people act in the big box stores. read more

After two miserable trips to chain pet stores to find a goldfish for my grandson's little pond we found this place. All I can say is "WOW!!!" I have never seen so many kinds of beautiful, healthy fish in tanks that were so nicely planted with live plants. The employees were super helpful even though the store was quite busy (no wonder why!). Usually goldfish are an afterthought with stores that sell fish, but these little guys were so lively and healthy looking we were beyond impressed. The owner was so excited to hear about my grandson's pond even though they were super busy and he stopped a moment to congratulate him on his new fish. They are getting ready to move off of 290 somewhere, but we will follow them wherever they go. A fabulous place!! read more

I first discovered this shop a year ago. I bought a pair of guppies and a pair of Lyretail Mollies. The fish were extremely healthy and started to reproduce like crazy. A whole year later, The babies of those pairs are having babies of their own. The offspring have been even better than the parents. I recently went back to purchase some shrimp and the shrimp are healthy and have been very prolific. I also bought plants and they're still alive. I give this a 5 star review. read more

Feeling fishy? This was a pleasant surprise to explore the variety of fish, snail, and aquatic plants.Don't let the parking lot fool you because inside it is beautiful. read more

I absolutely love this place! From all the awesome tropical fish they keep and get restocks on regularly all the way to their awesome customer service and friendly knowledge that they're happy to provide when you're new and trying to figure out what to buy, what you'll need, the tanks size certain fish will need as adults and what fish work well with what other fish! They have just about everything you need to set up a successful tank and every time I walk in this place it feels like home (which has been daily for the past month or two) P.S. I like every employee who works there they are all very valuable in their own way and I enjoy my conversations with each of them! Thank you guys read more

I CAN NOT BELIEVE I haven't given Dan and his shop a review yet. But I've been their number one customer for a while now and hand down for the size of the shop it rivals any other fish place around Houston. Dan "owner" is always finding reasons to have discounts for all types of fish and products and does honor military service members as well. If im going to spend money on fish, I'm glad I'm spending it at a place like this. read more

Beautiful store, tons of fish and live plants. Great customer service, definitely recommend.

i don't even know what to say other than i was in heaven staring at the fish for over 30 minutes before i even decided what i wanted to get. let me just say forget petco, petsmart ( obviously ) as well as most exotic fish stores. come here !! they have everything from brine shrimp to discus. i went in and picked up neon tetras as well indian pea puffers and a few plants everything looks so healthy. you genuinely cannot critique them. they have absolutely any water treatment and water tester you could ever think of. this is a you want it they have it, store. and you think continue to walk back and the rows of fish get longer . 1,000/ 10. will be back to add more healthy life to my tanks. read more

I finally was able to shop at this place, and I have to say this place best selection of fresh water fish and a huge selection of plants at a reasonable price. The store is located in a business district up north west Houston, and the size of the store is super small, but they have much inventory that beats a lot of larger stores. Also, the owner/manager is super nice and they have a lot of employees to help you when needed. Will definitely come back again. read more

Great quality products and fish to choose from. My go-to spot for satisfying any needs for my aquarium.

Hands down, 360 Aquatic is The BEST freshwater fish store in Houston! Everyone there is so friendly and helpful and knowledgeable! There is always a beautiful selection of fish and many you can't find just anywhere. The shrimp selection is top notch and very reasonably priced. The hard scape selection is amazing! 360 Aquatic - My 125 gallon filled with plants, decor and fish from 360 Aquatic. - Local Fish Stores Near Me - Houston, Texas

Great collection of fresh water fish. I have been shopping there for over a year (spent between $500 and $1,000) and each trip is 60 miles one way. However I was recently disappointed by the return policy. Although the fish was obviously killed by very severe ich (the sick fish also killed two super red bristle nose plecos that were also bought there), the shop refused to issue any refund because the nitrate in my water was boarderly high (it was in the very safe range according to my own test). I regret for being so honest to have the dead fish in the water and driving another 120 miles for nothing. So everything is great until something dies read more

horrible customer service, or lack there of! walked into four employees, all on their phones. stood around for about 15 minutes waiting to be helped, or for some kind of acknowledgment. until i realized i wasn't going to be helped. i really like the selection, but their service is disappointing. Update: There was a miscommunication with one of the employees. Dan the owner reached out and cleared everything up. If I'm honest I was most bummed about feeling like I couldn't shop here anymore out of principle. Which would be terrible since it is the best fish store I've been to in Houston. I highly recommend 360 aquatic. read more

Awful experience today. I expected knowledgeable sales staff to sell me a breeding pair, I was shown by the owner the day before, of a rare fish. 4 people and no one working today knew the difference of most fish in the store. I asked the fill in Brandon if he knew, and he gave me a 5 minute speech about how he knows nothing about the fish there. I drove over an hour one way, plus tolls, to find a store open without educated enough sales staff to sell me what they have, correctly. They smiled and said come back. That smile didn't make it any better, because then it became a smirk. Why should I come back for nothing again? How do I trust you can sell me the correct fish? There are multiple type fish in one tank. They don't know which is which today. I expect better. I suppose the owner traded going to an expo for customers. Hope you made more money there than at your store today. read more

Great customer service everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable they make feel apart of their company! And a great great variety of fish!

WOW!!! This store is amazingly overwhelming in the greatest way. Their employee Mia was sweet and very helpful. Usually you go into a pet store and you feel like you're bothering them. Not her she made me feel like I was a friend and so did the gentleman ringing me up. Such a large selection of freshwater fish. I went in looking for plants and corydoras this time around but I will be coming back in the next coming weeks to get a few more fish. It definitely was worth an hour drive from Magnolia. read more

This place is great! Lots of options, lots of healthy fish. There is one senior rep who is helpful when he isn't busy, and a few other employees that don't seem as knowledgeable, but are super willing to help. On one visit I purchased 6 sick fish here and I called to see if there were any other issues with the type of fish I got. I spoke to an older gentleman who said "look lady, you're gonna have to figure it out yourself." I get that there could be a million things wrong with a fish, but my issues originated from what I got at 360 and the least he could have done was to say if he had or had not had any issues with this type of fish. Once he said what he said, I could tell he felt bad for losing his patience but regardless, he made me feel horrible and it was not appreciated. On a separate occasion, I purchased between 10 and 15 plants. The new guy who bagged them accidentally included 3 fish when he put the plants in plastic bags. I didn't know they were in there and 2 of the 3 fish died, but the third is a survivor and has tripled in size in 6 months. It is now 3 inches long and will likely be too large for my tank. That being said, it's one of my favorite fish and will probably get its own tank when it is bigger. It was 100% an accident and though I never expected a fish bigger than an inch and a half, it is clear this one will be at least 5 inches and will be a survivor. Overall I'm happy with 360, but they are way too packed and busy to cater to anything other than mass sales of mostly healthy fish. I have NEVER had any trouble with fish I've gotten from them other than platys. If you are a beginner, I would recommend you go to a smaller store with people who have more time to help you and answer your specific questions. If you have some experience, 360 Aquatic is a no brainer, their fish are beautiful. read more
