360 Aquatic has quickly become our favorite fish store around Houston. Not only do they have an abundant variety of fish, but they also sell aquatic plants, tanks, heaters, lights, water treatment chemicals, water test kits, fish food, and bacteria water for new aquariums! It's a very unassuming store in the middle of a bunch of warehouses. Parking can be tricky since there are "No Parking" signs scattered throughout the lot - you won't have a problem finding a spot, it just might be a little farther down. The store itself is also quite small, which is surprising for how much they sell inside it. Our most recent visit was on Black Friday during one of their sales, and it got really tight inside to the point I almost got claustrophobic. We met Shay on our first visit and she has always been extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She really knows her stuff (understatement) and has made us a plethora of recommendations on various projects, from recovering an aquarium to starting a brand new one. Every time we come back, we ask for her! I definitely recommend 360 Aquatic for any of your fish or aquarium needs. This place is the reason I pivoted from fake plastic plants in my aquarium to now a series of live aquatic plants that have grown! We also recently upgraded fish tanks and bought a 20-gallon all-in-one and a 5-gallon all-in-one tank from here. The staff helped us throughout that process and recommended us on what to buy with it, so by the time we got home, the guesswork was minimal. read more

Super fun fish store! This place is over by my husbands work, and I've been dying to go! Totally we finally made that happen. I had been wanting a female Betta and had a tank cycling that was ready for fish! They had such an amazing selection with super fair prices. I've been to several fish stores and have never seen many of the fish this store carries. Inside you'll find foreground/background plants, an assortment of shrimp, many bottom feeders, all types of fish, and hardscape by the pound. After two miserable trips to chain pet stores to find a goldfish for my grandson's little pond we found this place. All I can say is "WOW!!!" I have never seen so many kinds of beautiful, healthy fish in tanks that were so nicely planted with live plants. The employees were super helpful even though the store was quite busy (no wonder why!). Usually goldfish are an afterthought with stores that sell fish, but these little guys were so lively and healthy looking we were beyond impressed. The owner was so excited to hear about my grandson's pond even though they were super busy and he stopped a moment to congratulate him on his new fish. This is the best kept secret! Yes, it's busy, yes it's crowded... Because it's amazing! Fantastic community tanks with healthy fish! It was nice to be able to see which fish work well together. Excellent selection. Prices were great as well. I have been doing a lot of shopping recently looking for some specific fish and they had everything I wanted. And then... The plants! I have just started using CO2 in my aquariums and needed some new plants to replace the ones that I killed previously. Then excellent selection, no snails, everything I want. I will be using them as my go to place. On top of all of that, the people were great. The staff was pleasant and helpful, even though they were crazy busy. And everybody shopping was very polite and tried to make everything accessible. Definitely not like people act in the big box stores. read more

I first discovered this shop a year ago. I bought a pair of guppies and a pair of Lyretail Mollies. The fish were extremely healthy and started to reproduce like crazy. A whole year later, The babies of those pairs are having babies of their own. The offspring have been even better than the parents. I recently went back to purchase some shrimp and the shrimp are healthy and have been very prolific. I also bought plants and they're still alive. I give this a 5 star review. read more

i don't even know what to say other than i was in heaven staring at the fish for over 30 minutes before i even decided what i wanted to get. let me just say forget petco, petsmart ( obviously ) as well as most exotic fish stores. come here !! they have everything from brine shrimp to discus. i went in and picked up neon tetras as well indian pea puffers and a few plants everything looks so healthy. you genuinely cannot critique them. they have absolutely any water treatment and water tester you could ever think of. this is a you want it they have it, store. and you think continue to walk back and the rows of fish get longer . 1,000/ 10. will be back to add more healthy life to my tanks. read more

From all the awesome tropical fish they keep and get restocks on regularly all the way to their awesome customer service and friendly knowledge that they're happy to provide when you're new and trying to figure out what to buy, what you'll need, the tanks size certain fish will need as adults and what fish work well with what other fish! The store is located in a business district up north west Houston, and the size of the store is super small, but they have much inventory that beats a lot of larger stores. Awful experience today. I expected knowledgeable sales staff to sell me a breeding pair, I was shown by the owner the day before, of a rare fish. 4 people and no one working today knew the difference of most fish in the store. I asked the fill in Brandon if he knew, and he gave me a 5 minute speech about how he knows nothing about the fish there. I drove over an hour one way, plus tolls, to find a store open without educated enough sales staff to sell me what they have, correctly. They smiled and said come back. That smile didn't make it any better, because then it became a smirk. Why should I come back for nothing again? How do I trust you can sell me the correct fish? There are multiple type fish in one tank. They don't know which is which today. I expect better. I suppose the owner traded going to an expo for customers. Great collection of fresh water fish. I have been shopping there for over a year (spent between $500 and $1,000) and each trip is 60 miles one way. However I was recently disappointed by the return policy. Although the fish was obviously killed by very severe ich (the sick fish also killed two super red bristle nose plecos that were also bought there), the shop refused to issue any refund because the nitrate in my water was boarderly high (it was in the very safe range according to my own test). I regret for being so honest to have the dead fish in the water and driving another 120 miles for nothing. So everything is great until something dies read more

WOW!!! This store is amazingly overwhelming in the greatest way. Their employee Mia was sweet and very helpful. Usually you go into a pet store and you feel like you're bothering them. Not her she made me feel like I was a friend and so did the gentleman ringing me up. Such a large selection of freshwater fish. I went in looking for plants and corydoras this time around but I will be coming back in the next coming weeks to get a few more fish. It definitely was worth an hour drive from Magnolia. read more

Wow!! This place is so cool!!! Definitely recommend for first time serious tank owners and experts! I just got a beta fish and was completely oblivious on how to care and set up his tank with all live plants bedding included! I had a vision in my head on how I wanted his tank to look and they helped me sooo much in making it come true! This place is great! Lots of options, lots of healthy fish. There is one senior rep who is helpful when he isn't busy, and a few other employees that don't seem as knowledgeable, but are super willing to help. On one visit I purchased 6 sick fish here and I called to see if there were any other issues with the type of fish I got. I spoke to an older gentleman who said "look lady, you're gonna have to figure it out yourself." I get that there could be a million things wrong with a fish, but my issues originated from what I got at 360 and the least he could have done was to say if he had or had not had any issues with this type of fish. Once he said what he said, I could tell he felt bad for losing his patience but regardless, he made me feel horrible and it was not appreciated. On a separate occasion, I purchased between 10 and 15 plants. The new guy who bagged them accidentally included 3 fish when he put the plants in plastic bags. I didn't know they were in there and 2 of the 3 fish died, but the third is a survivor and has tripled in size in 6 months. It is now 3 inches long and will likely be too large for my tank. That being said, it's one of my favorite fish and will probably get its own tank when it is bigger. It was 100% an accident and though I never expected a fish bigger than an inch and a half, it is clear this one will be at least 5 inches and will be a survivor. Overall I'm happy with 360, but they are way too packed and busy to cater to anything other than mass sales of mostly healthy fish. I have NEVER had any trouble with fish I've gotten from them other than platys. If you are a beginner, I would recommend you go to a smaller store with people who have more time to help you and answer your specific questions. If you have some experience, 360 Aquatic is a no brainer, their fish are beautiful. read more

This place is great If you're into the hobby and I'd for sure suggest this place as a good place to start if you're new. The staff are nice and helpful and they have basically everything you need and more! Anytime I've been the customer service has been really good and I always get asked if I need any help or if I've been helped out yet. They also have cool deals and sales every once and a while that you can find on their social media which is awesome! My only "negative" is the parking is a little confusing and isn't completely clear but to be honest it's not a big deal and was just a little confusing on my first visit but besides that everything else is amazing! read more
