We had a wonderful experience at 35 Brix. Our waitress was exceptional, as was the food. My son was treated to an outstanding lunch with his grandparents (my parents) after his preschool graduation. Let me tell you -- it is an amazing restaurant for adults and children alike. The staff treated our party of four very well and we were taken care of quickly. We weren't overly hungry, so we ordered a menagerie of appetisers! We ordered the Sweet Potato Chicken flatbread, Poutine (the best this side of Canada!), Charcuterie and some She Crab Soup. My son ordered a child's chicken fingers and fries. Everything was very tasty and fresh. The prices were slightly higher than I had remembered them. That was the only issue I had with the situation. For four people (3 adults, 1 child - listed food and 2 glasses of iced tea and one glass of ice wine), the bill was approximately $100. All in all, I recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food was delicious. The Seafood Trio was huge . I made 3 meals of it . The drinks were excellent . Our server was really nice too. Make sure you get kitchen coffee for the kitchen staff - $6 is nothing to add on to the bill ;) The drink menu could use a reprint - there were a lot of typos. read more

Mac and cheese is a MUST. Such a classic place and I personally think the price is worth it.

Food was ok overall. I got the Siriacha wings and 'Poutine'. I love Poutine and this was far from it. They were cheese fries and the gravy was tasteless. Ok effort、but not remotely right. The wings had a good sauce on them but the flesh was tasteless、no seasonings or moistness. They were over-priced for what they were at 15.00. It's ok、they really need to step back and improve some things and quality. Don't label your cheese fries poutine. Lastly、the bread was delicious. I should have gotten a bunch of that. They messed up our delivery、but they were quick to make it right. So customer service is a plus. I didn't finish my food as it wasn't the best、but I might hive them another shot in the future. read more

First time here. Everyone with us enjoyed their meal. The filet steak a customer had could be cut with a butter knife. The shrimp appetizer had an amazing delicious sauce according to everyone who ate it. As a person who tries to eat vegetarian I found their Brussel sprouts wonderful (ignoring the little bit of bacon in there--hey, when is a smidge of bacon ever a bad thing) and the risotto with asparagus fantastic. The food, and menu is versatile, there is something for every taste. The waitress did not offer water and did not keep an eye on our table. The person (older man) that took my reservation via phone, assigned me to a table ( he said that it was him who took the reservation) I did not want and had told me about the outdoor/garage area, but said he did tell me that was disrespectful in offering another table. I stated that I reserved the outdoor/garage area and he offered us the wine room and told me I had never sat at either seat. He was disrespectful and rude to me and my guest. Drinks are good but the food is just ok. They try to be fine dining but food is usually disappointing for the price you pay.

Six of us visited for a birthday on a Wednesday night. Food was fair, at best. Pierogi appetizer was good, not great. So much oil/butter on everything. I ordered the seafood trio. All I could taste was oil/grease. Even the potatoes tasted like nothing but oil. Someone had the gumbo, said it was ok... the carnitas special was not very good. Just bland and fatty. Also had the surf and turf, crab cakes, artichoke dip, shrimp appetizer and Tuscan chicken at our table. None of it was better than average. No flavor, nothing special at all. Salads were decent but for the prices absolutely would not recommend. The server brought our food to the table and had to call out the dishes and ask who had what and then passed each plate down the line of people, diner style. Not what I'm used to as far as upper scale dining. Drinks weren't refilled at the end when we were visiting. Also appreciate when the wait staff boxes leftovers for us but that didn't happen either despite the fact that we were his only table. Was disappointed that no one even asked how everything was... most of the food was left uneaten. Very disappointed for a $400 dinner. Save your money and go to McDonalds. read more

Was up in the Akron-Canton area last month for a wedding and stop by this place for dinner. Service was great are waitress was awesome. The overall look of the restuarant also is very nice as well. The patio tables have built in firepits which was very cool and different. Well it does get a little pricey it is worth every penny. My girlfriend and I loved the food. It was amazing. Good food. Casual nice dining in a really neat artsy dining room (see photos). We went on a Sunday when breakfast is served all day. The corned beef hash dish and eggs Benedict were delicious. This has always been our go to spot for special occasions. Today we experienced a rude man at the hostess station that refused to seat us in the restaurant because we didn't use a credit card to make a reservation. This is the ONLY restaurant we've encountered that has required this. We were seated in the heated patio area (29 degrees outside). We walked past atleast 7 empty tables along with an empty bar. We came on a Saturday at 430pm. We were brought our salads, one of them had a dead bug in it. At the conclusion of our meal we spent $100 to sit on patio furniture on a patio and given food with a bug in it. The food also lacked flavor this time, I couldnt even eat half my blackened shrimp pasta because it had no flavor. We ordered 2 kids meala that both are supposed to come with ice cream and the waitress never even offered it or asked if we wanted it. A manager also never came to our table to talk to us about our experience. We will not be returning. read more

My wife and I had dinner there one Friday evening my wife ordered the fish and I ordered a prime rib. My prime rib was cold so I said something to the waitress and the next thing I know here come a very arrogant manager and I told him that I thought my prime rib was supposed to be in the warm center medium rare. He advised me this is how they serve their prime rib all the time and if you come back again you would get it the same way but he said to me I highly recommend you don't come back and don't recommend us. I haven't been back won't go back don't care if they go out of business. read more

At the bar for a quick lunch and watched the bartender be yelled at and completely disrespected by owners, husband and wife both hateful and demeaning. It flustered her, as well as made me lose my appetite from all the anxiety it caused. I frequent here often, and the food/drinks are absolutely wonderful. This management style was just pitiful. They owe that woman an apology. And anyone in the vicinity of their wrath. PS: there are Disney charms epoxied on all the tables. Great atmosphere with a awesome staff that makes you feel like you're truly being taken care of. The menu is not too large and the meals are made well. The drinks were great. Went here last night with a larger party (there were 8 of us) and I was impressed! The service was great and all of our dishes arrived hot and in a timely manner. We ordered the cauliflower wings and the dynamite shrimp as appetizers (both were recommended by our server as popular dishes) and they were crispy and delicious. They bring a small loaf of bread and butter to the table too which was also warm and tasty. Everyone in our party was happy with their entrée choices...the steakhouse bacon burger, smoked gouda and potato pierogies, and halibut were the standout dishes! Note on the pierogies though - they come with cheddar cheese sprinkled on the top which is a little strange in my opinion so I would ask for them without that next time. Great wine selection, I was definitely surprised that there were several of my favorite wine on their list. Food was delicious, nice generous portion. I shared a large main course and salad with my sister in-law and still need a box to take some food home. They were super great about seating our large party in the wine room. I love the ambiance. Brunch, drinks, small plates, can't go wrong. The staff are great. Atmosphere also nice n swanky but not intimidating. Dinner date feels a little overpriced though. Not absurd, just out of line. I usually don't leave reviews like I am below as I would respectfully reach out to management, but as you will see below, it's not an option. Rating is truest based on customer service, not the food. My family and I have frequented Brix on various occasions and always enjoy our time and the food. We made a reservation for Mother's Day dinner for Saturday. Reservations were made on Wednesday. When we arrived, they initially sat us at a small booth. When asking for a table, as there were probably 5 other tables open, we sat waiting for various minutes until the owner came over and said "We can't give you a table, sorry." After I asked why they couldn't accommodate us, he said due to other reservations coming later. We explained my family just drove 1.5 hours to get here. When I asked to speak with the manger/owner, he said he was the owner and you could have pushed me over with a feather. I could not believe an owner of a business would have handled the situation as he did. There's a way to speak to customers and that was not how. He told me I should have requested a table when they called to confirm my reservation. When I told him I never received a call, his response was "oh, oh well." It wasn't until the kind hostess said we have a bigger booth that may work better and it suited us wonderfully. Never once did the owner come by to ask if everything was okay or to ask how our meal was. This is truly the saddest excuse for an owner and customer service I've dealt with in quite some time, if ever! As always, the food is wonderful, but you will pay for it. Now this another of the most pretties and interesting places to eat! The food is very delicious too! The day started out with us getting up early than usual to drive about 45 minutes to my daughter's home to let out the dogs and pet the cats and dogs! Feed them and dodge the rain back to the car! We had not had breakfast so we were getting hungry! We looked on our trusted Yelp App to find a different restaurant than we had not eaten at before! We decided on BRIX in the city of Green with a mailing address of Uniontown (?!). We find it by GPS map and it is still raining! We were seated immediately, around 3:00 pm only the bar was busy! We ask for a table and no problem! The waitress ask if we had been to Brix before and she gave us an interesting background of the restaurant and gave an excellent overview of favor foods and drinks! The waitress was outstanding in her friendliness and menu knowledge! We ordered drinks and she brought them back fast and we ordered our meals! I order clam soup and chicken with a special sauce over rice! Delicious. The soup was fantastic! Every one should try it! The chicken was delicious too! My wife like her food too! Parking is a sufficiently spaced shared with the stores in that grouping! The wait lobby has many chairs to allow seating if you are waiting on seating or on carry out! Wow! 35 Brix is a must-try! We've lived in the area for about three years now and my husband finally took me here on a kidless date night. I was VERY impressed! Ambiance was great and decorated so cute for Valentine's Day! Our waitress, Megan, was extremely attentive and had great menu suggestions. She talked us into the cauliflower wings. We were a little skeptical until we tried em. Omg! Crispy, spicy, sweet and oh so delish! As for entrees, my hubs got the pork chop and I got the blackened salmon. Both were to DIE for! The pork chop was cut thick like a tomahawk and cooked to perfection. The salmon was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, served with a bacon butter on top. Both meals came with salads, and even the croutons are worth writing about! Cocktails: great! Food: amazing! Portions: generous! Service: perfection! Ambiance: on point! All around, 5/5! Nope! Never again! Sat us next to kitchen in a booth. Requested to be moved to any of the other 5 booths that were available and got denied! Our appetizer order was incorrect and their bleu cheese dressing isn't really bleu cheese. The blackened grouper was so dry and brussel sprouts were at least a day old. The only thing I enjoyed were my drinks. This is ONLY a place to have a drink and "maybe" attempt an appetizer. I wouldn't drop $200 like we did in this dump! Nice little, semi-fancy/trendy restaurant in Green. Unlike some of the other similar places in the area, the food is actually good. It seemed like reservations were suggested, but they weren't SUPER busy. Busy but not overwhelmed. Anyway, ate here Saturday night, 6pm with our reservation. Service was top notch. The four of us had, chicken parm/a scallops dish/pork chop/short rib ravioli. Also two old fashioned cocktails were downed and enjoyed. Nothing blew me away to give it 5 stars, however I'd say it's a toss up between here and Twisted Olive for best restaurant in this area as far as food goes. We will eat here again. read more
