What a great find!! The prices are reasonable, the food was outstanding, and the service just as good! I'm gluten free, hubby is not, so we are always looking for good restaurants that both of us enjoy. They truly understand GF needs, and are so welcoming and happy to accommodate us. And they actually know how to PERFECTLY cook GF pasta! Worth a drive from anywhere you are. And they are gorgeously and uniquely decorated, like dining in a gallery. We will be back very soon! Tip: try the Asiago Chicken... you won't be sorry!

Food was excellent and the bread service was great. Service by Dakota, first class. Portion for the amount paid...pretty small. The friend I ate with had a salad that was much larger in comparison. Minus one star for portion sizes.

Excellent, dirty martini olives were great!

Good and service was amazing! Server was attentive and friendly. Hostess met us with a smile. Food was fantastic!!

35 Brix is a pretty good spot for drinks and dinner. The service was exceptional. Our server was super friendly and attentive. The food was good but I'm pretty sure my halibut was overcooked. I did really like the crust though. They have an outstanding bar and wine selection. On Wednesday it seems they have retail prices for the wine which is an amazing deal. The restaurant itself is nice as well. I didn't walk the whole place but the booth we had was nice. I'd visit again.

Second time eating here and they exceeded my expectations on both occasions! Started out with happy hour and some delicious salmon nuggets. My wife got the chicken lettuce wraps which she really liked. Apps free with purchase of a happy hour drink, what a deal! Got seated for dinner and ordered another app of smoked gouda and potato pierogies. So savory! I got lobster carbonara as my entree and was impressed with the amount of lobster meat. We have a favorite seafood restaurant that I won't mention the name of but this dish was as good as anything I have had there and that is saying something! My wife got a pesto/balsamic flatbread pizza and she loved it. Service was very good - our waitress was such a sweetheart, I wish we would have gotten her name but everyone there was on their "A game". Looking forward to returning soon!

Overall nice place. Great ambiance, fantastic wine list!!! Cauliflower wings were not cooked through-- raw batter in the middle. Smaller pieces would likely be cooked more thoroughly. Sauce was great. I liked their homemade ranch with them better than the blue cheese. Harvest salad was flavorful. However when I order a " mixed greens" salad I don't expect it to be 90% romaine, which I don't care for, hence why I order mixed greens salads. Otherwise would've been five stars Chicken for salad could've been trimmed prior to cooking. Fat on the edge and the center weird part. Or offer the salad without meat and price as an add on. Guest had the Reuben and he said it was great. It looked well-made to me. Hostess, wait staff, service excellent. **Overall definitely worthy of visiting and likely revisiting. Decorated nicely for the holidays too!!**

We stopped in for dinner a couple of days ago. Our server Lisa was awesome - super knowledgeable about gluten free and had good recommendations. I had had the blackened shrimp pasta and my sig other had the seafood trio. I upgraded my salad to the wedge which was delicious. Super fresh - and the white balsamic and white French were so delicious. All the dressing are homemade. I really enjoyed the shrimp pasta, and the seafood trio was amazing. Scallops cooked perfectly. Wished we lived in the area to go back regularly!

Let's begin with the ambiance...blue and silver undertones with subtle lighting. Outside seating was available also. Our waitress Courtney C was efficient and knowledgeable. All of our food choices were delectable! The signature lemon drop martini with the sugar rim was the BOMB! Highly recommend this restaurant. Pictures of our meals are included as well as a few snapshots of our takeout order, dynamite shrimp and smoke Gouda pierogies. Daughter rated pierogies 10/10!!

Scallops and Risotto....well they called it risotto

We tried Brix 35 last night, and over all it was OK. Upon first glance at the menu, you quickly realize that this isn't the place you should price shop and that the food will be good. If the balance of the salad toppings to greens was a bit better, and they knew how to cook a risotto this would have easily been 4 stars.  However, for the price you pay, I am being quite critical given that one would expect what you pay for.  Details below, but that is about the summary. Apps: -     Cauliflower Wings were very good, and a very nice crunch.  These are a must have -     Garlic Butter Mussels: We are huge mussel fans, and these were quite nice - Smoked Gouda and Potato Pierogis: They tasted great and presented well, but just heavy on the Potato.  If you like starch heavy apps, then this will not disappoint.  For me, 1 pierogi very much felt like 1/2 of my lunch. Salads had before entrees and as an entrée.  Overall, there are far more toppings than greens, and the bowls they serve them in are a little difficult to eat out of them.  The "stuff" kept coming out of the dish as you tried to remove your fork.  My wife came home with about 2/3 of her toppings (blue cheese / pecans / bacon) and that will be enough to top our family salad generously for the night. My main meal was scallops and risotto. The risotto is described as a mushroom and broccolini risotto. I can say that I saw 2 slices of a mushroom, and 3-4 large chunks of celery, and that was it for the vegs.  That is all cool, but the chunks were so large that it broke up any amount of creaminess of the risotto; which wasn't much.  The risotto should really be called something else.  It was dry, the rice crumbled in my mouth, and felt more like a paste.  The scallops were cooked very nicely with a slight seared crispness and buttery smooth center.  I enjoyed the scallops, but sent a near full serving of risotto back just because it wasn't worth the calories.

I started my meal off last night with the pierogies and they were immaculate. These pierogies had a nice blend of potato and cheese but we're also a very large portion, luckily I split them with my wife. Instead of a salad I ordered the vegetable soup which tasted nice. My entrée was the strip steak and it did not disappoint. There was a nice Bordeaux sauce on it was tasted delicious!

Several weeks ago, we (3 couples) stopped in for drinks after dinner around 9PM. It was fairly crowded, and we had to stand for a bit until some seating opened up. Service was slow, but it is craft drinks, so a bit understandable. However, after about 10 minutes of sitting, my wife bussed our table (multiple glasses, receipts, trash). The bartender was snippy and rude. We ordered another round, then left. Saturday night we returned for drinks after dinner again (8:00PM), this time with 3 other couples (8 people). We arrived first, and while there weren't any seats, it didn't seem as crowded as the last time. However, I over heard one bartender say to the other bartender "I'm not putting up with this shit again", and then proceeded to lock the main door. As our full party had not arrived, we had no choice but to leave. I'm not certian, but I suspect locking the door may be against fire code. After dealing with rude bartenders, and being locked in because the bartenders don't want to deal with a crowd, we certianly won't be going back.

Great drinks and friendly bartenders. Small place with comfortable speakeasy vibe. No food.read more

I'd give this a 4.25 stars. If you read my reviews, you know that terrible car accidents happen to me after work dinners (see review on The Industry for one such example). Thankfully, dear readers, I did not have any car incidents after THIS specific work dinner. Haha! Anyway, The Bistro of Green is in a strip mall five minutes from my work office and is an institution for locals in the area - people in my group were reminiscing about coming to Bistro multiple times a month before Covid, back when they were open for lunch. The menu seems to change often. They do have a couple specials on a board outside the door that are not on their printed menu, just FYI. Our dinner took over 2 and a half hours, starting with complimentary bread and our drinks of choice. The free bread was fine. I ordered a seasonal cocktail, the Apple Cranberry Sangria, despite cocktails not having a price listed (see menu picture). I tend never to order things that do not have the price listed but the cocktail sounded too good to resist. It was yummy and very sugary and fruity, with added mint leaves that definitely brought it up a notch! Our party also split 4 appetizers: the hot peppers ($13), baked provolone ($14), calamari ($16), and flatbread ($16). As the portions are not meant to be shared between 10 people, I only had a little bit of each. I wasn't into the peppers (too mushy) but the calamari was my favorite! I could see myself ordering this as a dinner just for myself in the future. Two thirds of the hot pepper dish was ignored by the group in the end. For my main, half of which I took home as it was getting very late and my drive back home is almost an hour, I chose to get the Bistro burger (medium rare) and fries ($18). This was chosen based on cost alone - even though I really wanted a chicken or steak dish, I just could not afford them. I am only a lonely assistant, not a CEO! I debated getting one of the other sandwich options, also both $18, but the lack of pictures either on Google or Yelp made me just stick with a burger. My lack of funds kept me from being too adventurous for this dinner, sadly. Next time, I'd be down to try their fancy grilled cheese (or steak, if someone else foots the bill). The burger was good, although not amazing, and the fries were that nice mix of just oily and crispy enough. Service was okay. Things apparently got busy at the bar, so it took longer than it should have for us to get our drinks and food throughout the night. As for vibes, it was nicely decorated for Christmas, lights were dim, and Christmas music played softly in the background. No complaints here! In the end, for a sangria, burger, fries, tax, and tip (plus a 3% surcharge for using a credit card), my dinner cost me over $40. Can you imagine just how much worse the bill would have been if I hadn't gotten the cheapest thing on the menu? Next time, I will also remember to bring cash. And choose a more unique dish.
