I wasn't sure what to expect from this place when I came in. I feared it would be overpriced food that wouldn't deliver. I was wrong. While the prices are more than many American style restaurants the food was of quality. The cauliflower wings were to die for! I loved that they had different salad dressings than the standard, including the cranberry citrus vinaigrette that I had, which was delicious. The butter for the bread was smooth and flavorful. My main course, the jambalaya was very good. The atmosphere is modern. The bathrooms were clean. And the staff is very friendly and consistently checks on you. read more

Wow what a great stumble upon! Had to head to uniontown from north royalton to pick up some chairs. Googled places in the area and brix came up. Did not disappoint! Came here with 5 (including a 5 year old). Superb greeter that accommodated our seating request. Waiter was Joseph who answered all our questions - first time here - and provided exemplary service. He kept bringing drink refills without being asked! Very attentive. Food was very very good. I felt like a burger. The waygu burger was the best burger I've every had. And actually medium, as I ordered. The only thing wrong was that I was visiting Akron... and it's about 6 hrs from where I live. First time here and the bar selection, service and food were exactly what we were looking for. Unique, delicious selections, and apps were FREE during Happy Hour at the bar! We tried the pulled pork sliders and amazing chicken fingers...I highly recommend the chipotle buffalo sauce. Many great sounding selections, we landed on the strip/crab cake dinner special. We shared, and though I usually give him more, my boyfriend had to settle for his equal share of the perfectly cooked steak and melt in your mouth risotto and crab cake. Poutine is substandard. I had the pork chops With Brussels sprouts. The pork chop was excellent, tender and juicy but, the Brussels sprouts was cold and tough to chew. After talking to the owner they brought out another side of brussel which was head over heels better than what was served previously. Hesitant to visit here after reading the yelp reviews, but met a friend for appetizers and drinks and overall had a pretty good experience. The prices are a little higher than other comparable restaurants, and house glasses of wine were $9 to $11 each. Appetizer menu was unique but on the servers recommendation I tried the cauliflower which was breaded and deep-fried like a chicken wing. It was amazing the texture of the cauliflower and the flavor of the accompanying sauce. My friend had the hummus platter which was served with pickled vegetables, the hummus had a lot of garlic but tasted good. They ran out of wine after we each had a glass (really?) and our server didn't have alternate recommendations. I'd like to return for happy hour read more

A little disappointed in the service received. I have been here 4 times now and never have been impressed or left super happy. Last night I went with a friend for happy hour...we had been after work before and knew it went til 7 (and even checked online where it was not listed) but after we arrived at 6:05 and I ordered a happy hour drink they said they changed the time to end at 6. Luckily after I asked why it was changed and made sure I wasn't mistaken in the times, they honored 1 drink at happy hour price (still not a great deal- $5 for a draft beer is a pricey "deal"). Apparently our beers were rung in twice and we accidentally both got an extra drink at our table. Score, right? One of the owners actually came over and apologized, but TOOK BACK the drinks and I watched him pour them out. I asked if we could have kept them and he said we could order another when we were ready. This seems pretty poor customer service. If it is their mistake, they should have allowed us to keep the extra drink at no cost, right? Either way every time I've been here there has been unknowledgable staff, poor service, and very overpriced food and drinks. Wish I could write a better review, because I was really rooting for this to be a new hangout for me after work! read more

Last year I made reservations for Valentine's Day and had to cancel last minute due to a medical emergency. While sitting at the hospital I called and spoke to someone explaining the situation. The were kind and seemed to understand. This year we could not wait to reschedule but the restaurant cancelled our reservation claiming we were a no show last year. Tonight was our 2nd visit, last visit sent steak back twice and finally the third time was the charm, this time it did only take 1 extra time to get the right temp. In my order, seafood trio, everything was BURNT on one side, like someone forgot to flip it. While the food was very good and the service was excellent, the owner's attitude is very disappointing. We made a reservation for a birthday gathering over a week ago and were told we would be in a more private room as one member of our party is elderly and very concerned about being safe in the Covid environment. Upon arriving, our table was in the middle of the main dining room with 2 other tables within 4 feet. The owner told us that we never responded to the confirmation phone call earlier in the week even though the voicemail said to only call back if there were changes. He told us that the other room would not be available for at least another 1/2 hour and that there was now a minimum $1,200 purchase to have it. This was never mentioned at the time of the reservation. The owner showed no understanding or remorse was unapologetic and frankly rude and indignant. This is now the second time we have experienced this poor attitude . A few weeks ago a member of our family had to cancel a reservation well in advance due to an unexpected medical emergency and he hung up on her. Once bitten and now twice shy... we will not return! read more

me and my cousins had a reservation at 35 brix our first time there everything was going good the waiter was very attentive helpful respectful apologetic the appetizer was amazing. It was when the entrées came out is when we had a problem my cousins got the garlic vaca chicken pasta. The noodles was over cooked I got the Tuscan chicken pasta. It was not good at all. The sauce was supposed to be creamy, but it was watery with and odd taste so we asked if we could get another meal. Some guy comes out. He doesn't state who he was He is what he's not going to do is make us anything else He was very rude very disrespectful he actually cause a scene and said he was not going to serve us anything else. I have never been so disrespected in my life at a restaurant like that. I will never go there again. They had the audacity to cancel my reservation so I couldn't leave a review because he knew the way he handled the situation was very unprofessional. Went to 35 Brix for dinner last night, my man and I split the Candied Bacon, Bacon & Gouda Pirogies and the Chopped Salad, Everything was good but I wasn't blown away. I had high hopes for the Pirogies, and was sad when they got to the table and I saw they were shaped small (equivalent to Mrs. T's size) they of course tasted a bit better and were doctored up more. Thought the decor was cool, and our service was great. It was a cool place to check out. read more

Food was good but not at value for price point. My short rib ravioli was most cheese and micro bits. Topped with mushrooms and sauce more suited to pizza. The ravioli and cheese were good. I was hoping for a more developed filling in terms of meat and flavor that brought the deep roasted flavor profiles of short ribs .
