My greek power bowl delivery from a few weeks ago was nearly 20 bucks and was missing the dressing and veggie medley! The fish on top was overcooked while the chickpeas were undercooked! I ate it almost because I was hungry but I wouldn't ever get that again. As for today's meal, a tavern salad with extra chicken and extra tomatoes, well... I am glad I also didn't pay for this because they definitely did not give me double chicken nor extra tomatoes. Also, they are very skimpy on the veggies and cheese overall. And yes, the chicken was dry. Again! Like my pizza from my review earlier this year! One day, I'll learn my lesson and not order chicken and CHECK the portions on my food before I leave the restaurant. So yeah, I am lowering my review from 4 stars to 3 and even that feels generous. When our waitress brought just three menus for a party of seven and tossed a stack of Dollar store napkins in the middle of the table, with silverware on top, I should've known what was coming. The first three things I tried to order from the menu--soup of the day, chicken marsala, and broccoli--were all unavailable. Yes, three in a row! I finally ended up with a steak that I asked for medium, but it came out completely cooked through with no pink at all. Between the missing menu items, lackluster presentation, and poorly cooked food, the whole experience was a huge letdown. One thing they obviously had on hand was plenty of salt! I'm pretty sure we all consumed our limit of sodium for the week. One thing I can say is that all of the staff were extremely friendly and nice. I truly felt bad for our waitress. I gave the three stars based on the fact that the hotel uses the same area for breakfast and the server deserved five stars for breakfast. It was not a large buffet, but it was well presented and fresh (real scrambled eggs with cheese made on site which seems to be a rarity hotels these days).
