    Chicken tinga tacos
    Jasmin M.

Very cute spot in Excelsior! Everyone working was super kind. Had a lavender lemonade which may have been the best lemonade I've had in quite some time! I had the grilled peach and prosciutto flatbread and it had great flavor! Would definitely get again. Friends had the tacos (chicken tinga and carnitas). They both enjoyed them.

    Great coffee!

My favorite local cafe! The 318 is a great place to grab an early morning coffee and pastry, have lunch with the family, get work done at the bar, or catch some live/local music in the evening. I've been coming for years and the menu (and ownership) has changed, but if anything I think the food has gotten better! My favorites are the avocado toast (a little spicy and one of the best in the metro!), the roasted beet and goat cheese salad, the garden turkey sandwich, the El Cubano, and the TAB... lastly, 100% order the carrot cake, which is PHENOMENAL and homemade. Honestly, everything is good! Coffee drinks are also fantastic and in my opinion the 318 is the only place to get really high quality coffee and tea beverages in town (and that isn't a chain!).

    Beet salad so good!

You people do music, food, drink, service and atmosphere right. Beet salad and truffle popcorn are so nummy. We enjoyed open for our first time a few weeks ago-what a great evening. Thank you so much.

    Quiche of the day.

Quaint little coffee house/restaurant in the heart of downtown Excelsior. They also have a beer and wine license, but no booze. Mostly brunch, flatbreads, and sandwiches on the menu. I'm partial to their quiche which is available all hours. It's a rotating variety of flavors on this. Today the quiche was spinach, ham, potato, and parm. Each serving also comes with a delicious side of field greens topped with a lovely lemon vinaigrette. Minus one star for spotty service. This can happen from time to time here. To their credit on this day it was shift change time and one server had to cover the whole place.

I love this small intimate cafe. They have a wonderful menu and great hot and cold drinks and a nice variety of wines! I enjoy watching their concerts which is such a great setting!! I have never received bad service or food. The staff is so great also!!

I've visited 318 numerous times for various performances. They host open mikes, and tons of other performances. It is a quaint little place with good drinks and a nice variety of food. At my most recent visit I got a cider, salad and popcorn while watching my friend perform. It's a very comfortable setting to hang out at and the service is wonderful as well.

Mirabelle was chosen for friends night out due to the social media post and it looking great on socials. I'd first like to say the staff here were amazing. We were helped by quite a few of them during our dining experience. We were even given a guided tour of the rentable event space, as well as the 2 other restaurant concepts they run, which are connected to Mirabelle. Shiki - Japanese inspired noodle bar, and Parlour Bar - Speakeasy vibes. Mirabelle has more of a supper club atmosphere. Back to the dining experience, we all ordered the drink special - I don't recall the name but we all enjoyed it. Kind of like a cosmo. We were able to catch a few things from the happy hour. As I said earlier I was looking forward to ordering the wings, which I did, but was later informed they ran out - we did go at dinner opening on a Monday - maybe they had a super busy week. I was left to only trying cheese curds and fries which were okay, nothing special. Others tried the caesar salad, a shrimp pasta dish, popcorn, and a few other dishes. Overall they weren't very impressed either. Probably would have enjoyed the other concepts a bit more personally. Also had popovers - they were very egg forward - smell and taste - also something no one really enjoyed at our table. The drinks and vibes were amazing though!

The inside was pretty deserted apart from a few patrons sitting at the bar but overall the ambiance is nice and fresh and bright. Because I wasn't too hungry try I settle on the G.O.A.T salad with shrimp, my friend got the jerk chicken flatbread, her mom got the chicken egg rolls and we got the kid's cheese pizza for my friend's son. We didn't have to wait too long for our food and when it was brought to the table it looked good. Their choice of plates is an interesting one because the plates have specks that make you think they're dirty. The egg rolls weren't good at all and the inside wasn't fully cooked so you could take the flour in the wrap. The jerk chicken flatbread had no jerk sauce/seasoning on it. The salad was good but again the plate makes the dish appear unclean. We ended up sending the egg rolls back and they took them off our bill which was nice.

While I understand food costs and needing a pared down menu, gone were the uniquely Jamaican dishes such as the jerk bowls and the jackfruit, etc (still on the website by the way). So what I tried was a Jamaican Banh Mi. Basically, grilled chicken with some sliced vegetables in an imitation of a Vietnamese banh mi. I really enjoyed the sauce they drizzled on and their mango Cole slaw was one of the first times I actually liked a restaurant Cole slaw. Sadly, a sandwich with a thin slice of chicken breast and some Cole slaw is not worth the $19 price tag. While the service was very good, Montego Blu doesn't stand out anymore given the lack of their Caribbean options.

If you want to come here even relatively close to peak hours, I would highly recommend a reservation. My personal favorites here include the Rotisserie Chicken Sandwich and the Minute Chicken. I've gotten both items multiple times and they are consistently great. Do yourself a favor and get the Dessert Flight; the portions are more than fair for the price and the Banana Cream Pie is to die for. We recently did brunch at Hazelwood for the first time. The Monkey Bread is a generous size with a crispy outside and gooey center - exactly how you would want it to be. The Smoked Gouda Hash browns are worth getting on the side with any item that doesn't already include them; they are so creamy and have a rich cheesy flavor with a nice crispy top layer. Unfortunately, I would not recommend the Avocado Toast. The bacon bits, lettuce, and poached egg completely overwhelm the avocado, which is virtually nonexistent. It's served on a very small and boring piece of wheat toast.

We came on a busy Sunday evening, Memorial Day Weekend, and put our name down for a table. We were told it would be a responsible 25-30 minute wait. A wait that only ended up being about 15 minutes. We were seated at a table right next to the water which we loved. Very promptly greeted by our server, Julie, who was awesome. She was extremely knowledgeable to the menu, made plenty of recommendations, and was very humorous making the visit even better. Started with the Loaded Nachos which were HUGE. They were piled high with all the goodies, plenty of queso, crispy chips, and extremely fresh ingredients. At first I was turned off by the $22 price tag but the size is actually a great value and they are perfect for probably 6-8 to share as an app or 2-4 to share as an entree. You can pop tan extra $10 for brisket, we just stuck with the ground beef. I also got the Stacked Club Sandwich which, again, was a massive portion. The deli meat tasted like it was freshly sliced and had a nice flavor. The lettuce and tomato were also very fresh tasting.
