Overpriced and overrated. Slow service. Food was just okay. The cocktails were good.

Finally! Found a nice restaurant near Dayton that is open for lunch. Went at 12 right when they opened, I had a couple of their vodka cocktails (pear one and beach love) that were both delicious and had cute decorated glasses. I ordered the 9oz filet medium and truffle fries and it was SO good. Was cooked perfectly pink all through, my boyfriend got the burger and loved it! Our waitress Joy was so nice and SUCH delight, checked in on us often and the chef even came out to ask us how our food was. Amazing arrive amazing food and the place is so cool with their different artwork and disco ball and zebra print leather seats so lots of cool photo op spots here too. 10/10 we loved it. read more

ORDERED: - The Bee's Knees.... very delicious and right amount of honey - Palma Rosa: the lemon whip cream is divine - Gin Fizz: really good but could be a bit more sweet for flavor - Dirty Martini: perfect - Lamp Appetizer: delicious, wish I could've eaten 3 orders PROS: - Barkeep was incredibly nice and accommodating when available - lots of history. Bar was shipped from Chicago - Lamb was Delicious! - Drinks were delicious as well - staff was very nice and pleasant. - they have live entertainment. Went for anniversary dinner. Overpriced for canned ingredients and poorly seasoned dishes. Service was good except for the fact was never told about specials. Our daughter tried to send a bottle of wine to our table and was flabbergasted by the lack of knowledge on how to handle it. After many transfers she felt uncomfortable giving a credit card number. Although they were informed that it was a special occasion no mention was made. Very disappointing after hearing such good things about this place. read more

If you're even moderately concerned about COVID, don't go to this place. The people setting up our tables, refilling our waters, hostess, bartenders, and valet drivers were NOT wearing masks. Thankfully our waitress was, but it seemed like everybody else behind the scenes handling our food wasn't. We asked the person filling our waters if he could wear a mask the next time he came back and he said sure but seemed offended and never came back. First restaurant I've been to since this mess started that doesn't enforce masks for its employees. read more

What a wonderful evening! The staff was absolutely wonderful. They checked on us always to make sure all was well. They stayed and chatted with us making us feel like instant friends. The food!? Went to 31 supper club to celebrate friends 33 anniversary. I will say the place was packed to see a Frank Sanetra impersonator who was very good. The restante was very understaffed and they were moving like lighting trying to fill orders. We ordered drinks and appetizers. After a wait the food came, I had ordered the grouper fritter which smelled very heavy of fish and was barley warm. The main courses came , my wife's prime rib which was supposed to be medium rare was very rare. Again, the staff was doing their best ,but there was a big wait time. When I did flag down our server, she was very apologetic and took the prime rib back. In 10 minuets she brought back a new prime rib still rare and cold. Once again, I flagged her down and she looked horrified. I explained it was not her fault and try to relax. This time they put the prime rib on the flat iron and it was cooked too medium rare. Total for the show and dinner for four with tip 400 dollars. Will I go back? No. the lack of staff and poor quality of the food will definitely keep me away! read more

Enjoyed dinner on the patio Friday night. Party of 4 with a 7:30 reservation. We were seated right away and were quickly greeted by the outside bartender who would be our server. We ordered the escargot, steak tips, and ciabatta bread as appetizers - they were all delicious! Since we were celebrating my birthday, he recommended my wife and I share the 31oz Tomahawk Steak - it came with two sides and two sauces. Honestly, at $125 I thought he was crazy, but after considering each ordering a steak and a side (they are a la cart) it was really reasonable. The couple we were with thought the same, and ordered it too. We both opted for grilled asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes as sides. As expected - it took a little time to cook this caveman portion of beef - but I will confess, it gave us time to really enjoy our cocktails. I had an "Old Man" (Old Fashioned) the bartender/server so expertly prepared. When the steaks arrived I was reminded of the beginning of the cartoon "The Flintstone's" when Fred has his dinner served and his car tips over... but it was AMAZING!! Truly one of the best steaks I have had in a very long time!! We failed to get pictures of the appetizers or desert - but here is a shot of the steaks!! Food and service 10/10!! The bartender was great. Servers did a nice job. We asked the bartender to transfer our tabs to our table and they forgot so after paying our dinner bill we were handed the bar bill. The food is very pricey and our Birthday girl decided to go all out with the best steak. When it came it was cold. The chef came out and made excuses. They did take hers off the bill. We went for a brunch on Sunday. The food is fabulous and you definitely need a big appetite to finish it all. I had the French toast which came with 2 eggs and your choice of sausage or bacon and home fries. My husband got the crab/egg Benedict with his choice of home fries or grits with fruit. We were in town for an event with hometown friends and we ended up here after Rosevilla was full. We did not notice the change of address (next door to Rosevilla) until we tried to find them there. Given our experience there, I'm glad we ate at 31 Supper Club. We ate in the outdoor space which was heated with tall triangle propane heaters that were very striking. The atmosphere was welcoming, beautiful and comfortable. There are many seating areas for groups to mingle, several with glass rock fire pits, There is also bar seating. The drink menu includes unique signature drinks. We did not partake, but one friend had one that included rosemary that she said was fantastic. The food is pricey. I'd say a third of your food price is for atmosphere, Entrees ranged from $33 - $58. Portions were reasonable. There are unique appetizers on the menu. Our waitress gave great suggestions, presented the specials of the day with prices and answered questions. She was attentive and knowledgeable. Food service was a bit slow, but all dishes were as ordered. We enjoyed our meals - very flavorful, We would certainly go back for the atmosphere. read more

We ate there last Saturday evening. They definitely have a problem in the kitchen. Out of 8 meals, every single one had a problem with one thing or another. Two meals not warm, one was just raw uncooked in the middle. A wedge salad that looked like a chopped salad. Being told that what was ordered wasn't available after the item being recommended. Those are just a few of the problems. The chef even came to our table to see what the problems were. Nice looking place, nice band but for those prices....a big disappointment. They did take 20% off the bill, but that only covered the tip. We won't be returning. read more

Me and girlfriend decided to try this the first week it opened, after NYE on a saturday night. We stopped by shortly after 6pm, walked to the hostess and noticed maybe only 3 tables were taken, the place looked pretty empty considering it was the weekend. Anyway, we asked for a table for 2 and were told they were all reserved and we could either sit at the bar or grab a table in the lounge outside. We chose to sit outside and fortunately the rain had cleared out by then. Besides this, after we were done with our meal and wanted to use the restroom, they showed us to the one in the lounge outside, so we felt like they didn't want us inside, it was weird. On to the food and drinks. We were really looking forward to trying this new place as it had been closed forever, and it promised craft cocktails and a classy atmosphere. We both ordered a cocktail each, an appetizer to share, an entree and a side each. I'd say I would totally go back but would only have cocktails and appetizers or sides, not entrees. The sides were a good size and fairly priced, but the entrees seemed overpriced to me, considering it was just the protein. The cocktails were good and priced the same as any other place that makes craft cocktails ($9-10). I only caught a brief glimpse of the inside and it wasn't quite my cup of tea, it seemed a bit tacky, with a lot of zebra tapestry on the chairs. I really liked the outside lounge, they even had a projector showing Casablanca and lounge music playing on the background. This is one of the nicer restaurants in the whole Daytona-Ormand-PO-NSB kind of area. I first went here for a social and tried all their small food items with drinks. That was really fun to attend and their patio bar was perfect for it. Next, I went here for dinner. Inside is gorgeous! The decor has a great mix of new and old. The new is funky and stylish-- zebra print chairs, etc. The food here is a 4. Everything is great, but it just didn't tip the tastebud charts enough for me to make it a 5. For example, the shrimp cocktail wasn't cooked exactly right and I wasn't a fan of the sauce. Also, the waiters were good but not excellent. They should be trained better on how to wait on people at fancy, expensive restaurants. read more

Went here the day before the Fourth of July. Decor was very nice. Only 4 tables seated at 7pm. Server sat us at a nice corner table. Menu was on iPad mini, first day they used them we were told. So we ordered 1 wine and 2 cocktails, wine came to table right away we waited at least 15 minutes for cocktails. Menu items were high priced and we were prepared for that since we looked online before making reservations. So I think maybe there were 16 people in the dining room and 2 servers and 2 bartenders. Server came by to take order there were 2 soups on menu when I first looked now they were not there. I asked server what happened to soup and he said oh they don't have soup today so it was taken off menu. Weird since it was a slow night, makes you wonder what else changes after you order $$. Bottom line apps were ok and entree was good. For the high menu price at this restaurant everything should've been awesome, blow you away including the service. Don't think I'll be back sorry 31 supper club. I'll go next door to Rose villa next time. read more
