We had 3 bedrooms with a hall and staircase cleaned and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. The carpet is over 10 years old so we weren't expecting much but they look better than they should. Good service with a friendly personable cleaner and super results with a very reasonable price so I'm not sure what more I could ask for. read more

2nd Generation Carpet Cleaning - This is my living room and Able did an awesome job with the high traffic area!! - Carpet Cleaning Near Me - Sacramento, California

I chose 2nd Generation Carpet Cleaning because I saw what a great job they did on my neighbors carpets. I had two area rugs cleaned. One was so dirty I considered discarding it but it was good quality so I had it cleaned. Abel did a GREAT job. I couldn't be more pleased. The second area rug is 100% wool. It turned out beautifully. I did not shop around for prices but I felt 2nd Generation was fair. Very reliable, arrived on time. I will absolutely use this company again. Highly recommend. read more

You'd be hard-pressed to find a more reliable, friendly and conscientious businessman to take care of your carpet cleaning needs.

This is THEE best carpet/upholstery cleaning in Sac hands down! The owners and management provide the best customer service and the quickest turn around time. I moved out of my place last minute and reached out in hopes of getting my carpets serviced. They were able to fit me in last minute and provided top notch service! Able was in and out quickly with zero hassle leaving my carpets in the best shape they've been in years! In addition to carpets, they also do upholstery. My couches were very delicate with tufted buttons and Able did an amazing job at keeping all the details in tact while cleaning them. Do yourself a favor and book with 2nd Gen carpets!! read more

I recently was referred to this company by my apartment managers initially figured the pricing would be high but at least the job will get done to managements satisfaction was in for a surprise.Pricing was fair, the clean up was done quickly, they arrived on-time.(which i really liked..most placed give you a window of four hours in which they will arrive.) I'd knock over a whole pot of wax onto my carpet over 3months ago,and they were able to get it out.( I was impressed)I will definitely use them again.EN read more

I was moving into a house and just wanted the carpet cleaned. I searched around yelp and called about 10 different places and asked for price quotes. For my 2 bedroom 2-story house, I got ranges from $150-200. I called 2nd Generation Carpet Cleaning, left a message, and about an hour or two later, I received a call back from Abel, the owner/carpet cleaner. He was extremely friendly and gave me an affordable quote for my house. I told him I would call him back (because at that time I was still scouting around for prices/time availability). When I finally decided to go with Abel, he got my information down and scheduled my appointment. Abel arrived on time and was friendly and professional. Since there was no furniture in my house (because I was just going to move in) he gave me a DISCOUNT! The job was done thoroughly and efficiently. I HIGHLY recommend 2nd generation carpet cleaning and would DEFINITELY have them clean my carpet again in the future. read more

Abel and his team are very professional and helpful with all of our carpet needs! Thank you, Abel for your amazing work!

I'll use 2nd Generation every time I need carpets cleaned! Very thorough, they saved my carpets from having to be replaced. They got stains and smells out, left by a tenant, that I didn't think would ever go away. Amazing! read more

Abel from 2nd Generation Carpet Cleaning just left our home after cleaning two rooms and a hallway. Absolute professional. Arrived to our home exactly on time. He was cordial, professional and knowledgable. He gave us some tips on maintaining our carpets and they look amazing. It took about an hour to complete the job. The price was more than reasonable and I would highly recommend the services from this company to anyone that needs their carpets cleaned. We will continue to send our business their way in the future. read more

Abel from 2nd Generation Carpet Cleaning is absolutely amazing. I've worked with Abel for about a year and a half now and all I can say is that he is very honest and professional with the work that he does. Couldn't ask for a better carpet cleaning company to take care of my carpet needs! read more

Abel from 2nd Generation Carpet Cleaning hand-cleaned my large leather sectional. Beautiful job. I knew it was dirty but it came out three shades lighter. He was on time and was very professional. Knew what he was doing. And ended up charging me less than original quote. I had contacted another (chain) company that was going to do it by machine in about an hour, for somewhat less money, but I did not want to trust my Italian Leather to a water-pressure system! This was well worth the extra cost for the hand treatment. Abel also cleaned my marble floors. Came out great. Not much you can do with stains on marble - they are etched in - but the layers of "cleaner" I had been using came off, and the grout returned to it's original color. I would definitely use this company again. read more

This is the second time I have had Abel come and do his magic on my carpets. I have a sweet rescue dog that is deathly afraid of EVERYTHING. Recently when the storm came through Elk Grove, with LOTS of thunder, and my dog was too chicken to go outside to relieve herself. So, she did it in the house ( in multiple places). 6 months ago, the same thing happened but worse, and that's how I found Abel. Our family use to run a carpet cleaning business, so I am pretty particular when it comes to carpets. Since this was out of my " little green machine's" capabilities, I decided to try Second Generation. I am so glad I did. Abel and his wife Rebecca are amazing. She squeezed me in, since I had company coming, and Abel did a fantastic job! He wears booties to protect the carpet and made sure everything was right before he left. I was SO happy! If you have pets that have had accidents, you know that urine is almost impossible to get out of carpet. A few days later some of the urine smell returned. Abel came back out and retreated the area. ( because it stays in the padding) it's a blessing to have my house clean and fresh again. I can't tell you how professional they are, and always happy and caring. Never once did he make me feel like it was a chore to come back out. I tried them based on all the comments here, and so I am adding my voice to what a great company they are. :) He saved me from having to replace my carpet. Sandy M. read more

We have been using 2nd generation for 9+ years. The service and quality has always been amazing. He works magic with carpets. The house always feels so clean and fantastic when he is done. You never have a harsh chemical smell. I feel great knowing it's a safe process and won't harm my kids or pets. I couldn't imagine using anyone else. read more

Cliffs Notes: 1. Affordable. 2. Great/Friendly Customer Service. 3. Superb Results. _______________________ 1. Affordable: Most carpet/cleaning companies will charge you additional fees for the most ridiculous reasons (loading equipment into their own vans, for example.) Not Second Generation!! You pay an affordable price for their services, and their services are exceptional. There are no outlandish "additional fees" -- they are extremely reasonable. 2. Service: Able is great. He will work around your schedule to come out promptly, even with short notice. They make it work. The entire staff is extremely nice... and I don't throw that word around loosely. They treat you like you're family. 3. Suberb Results: I have used "2nd Gen" for carpet cleaning, janitorial, AND MOST RECENTLY, tile steaming. I live with FOUR twenty-something dudes so you can imagine what my floors were like. I left for the day with disgusting tile, filthy grout, and mystery stains ... and came home after 2nd Gen cleaned to a floor I didn't even recognize. The tile was squeeky grout was sparkling white.i highly recommend! read more

I admit that I should have called Abel earlier: A house full of pale beige carpet does not mix well with a German Shepherd and an outdoor lifestyle. Abel rescued the carpeting from near-replacement filth and did so at a very fair price. I'd call again. read more

We have been using 2nd Generation Carpet Cleaning for 7 years and won't call anyone else! Abel is very thorough and is the friendliest person we have met. We tell everyone that he is the ONLY carpet cleaner that will make you 100% satisfied! Thanks again Abel! read more

We have had a problem with carpet tacks poking our feet. I have hesitated calling and having someone come out because I feared the worst. (...the carpet will need to be replaced and/or it will be very expensive) Well, I was wrong. Abel came out and was able to stretch the carpet and re-attached the carpet to the tacks. No more Pokies! The cost to have him come out and fix the carpet was very reasonable. I even talked to him about coming out again to do carpet cleaning. I would definitely recommend 2nd Generation Carpet Cleaning. http://www.2ndgenerationcarpetcleaning.com read more

Wow! Affordable, friendly and on time. What more could you want? Abel showed up, asked my concerns and got to work. He was able to remove the stains I was concerned about and he even left a bottle of the Spot Out stuff for free. Other places will try to sell it to you. Overall- Very pleased with estimate and cost, as well as the work. I definitely will refer and use in the future. read more

I just bought a home and shortly after I noticed a strange odor that included cigarette smoke. Abel helped me get rid of the stench that I had a hard time getting rid of on my own through cleaning. He followed up with me to make sure the odor was fully removed. Thank you Abel for making my home comfortable to live in now! read more

Excellent, friendly, and reasonable. We're an outdoor family with two dogs who have not quite learned to make it outside "every time." Able surveyed the damage, treated the stains (and smells) and left us with a carpet that looked almost like new. The cost was less than I anticipated. I would definitely recommend 2nd generation for your carpet cleaning and care needs. They never over promise and always over deliver. A big thanks to Able for a job well done! read more

Abel is fantastic...He did a beautiful job on my soiled master bedroom carpet...He is so kind and honest. My carpet needs to be stretched and he referred me to another company that would do a better job than he felt he could. Great character. Thank-You Abel. I will not call anyone else for carpet cleaning. read more

Abel is awesome! On multiple occasions he's saved carpets and couches that we had previously "left for dead" thanks to the work of our two dogs (mostly our older one with IBS, yikes). But post-Abel, everything always looks like it's brand new! Prior to his most recent visit my wife was ready to trash the carpet and buy some new stuff - fortunately we just let 2nd Gen Carpet Cleaning work its regular magic instead. Price is very reasonable for the quality of work (flawless) and he works very FAST. Super nice guy too, very professional and trustworthy. He's our go to guy for all carpet, couch and tile cleaning. read more

Abel is the best!! We use him to clean all of our apartment carpets and I recently had him clean my carpets at home. I was so impressed by how well they looked and felt. It was like I got all new carpets. Able is a true professional and all around nice guy. Great Job and thanks again!!! read more

As a former property manager in Davis and a current Student Housing employee, I have HIGH standards for cleaning vendors. 2nd Generation is the best! Specifically, Abel is amazing! Wow! These guys did an amazing job!!! They had an amazing $299 whole house special (up to 4000 sq ft). I had some pet stains from a long long time ago. I had the pad replaced but couldn't afford to replace the whole carpet and these carpet cleaning geniuses got all of the stains out!! I've had other companies that have tried to remove these stains but couldn't. My carpet looks new again. Able and his crew were not only professional and friendly they were super fast. They gave me an estimate of 2 - 21/2 hours for my 2600 sq foot 2 story house and they only took 1 1/2 hours!! They also helped my husband move some furniture to make sure they cleaned every possible inch of carpet they could. They unfortunatly couldn't get some red crystal light stains out, but that stuff is impossible to remove. I highly recommend 2nd Generation to everyone! read more

I've been meaning to write this review for awhile. I moved to the area about 6 mos ago and was scrambling to find someone to clean the carpets in my new place before I moved in, which happened to be just after a holiday weekend. Second Generation was able to fit me into their schedule, which alone was pretty great. They did a great job on the carpets and were flexible when working with my long-distance coordinating. The customer service was wonderful. Working with Second Generation made my moving experience so much smoother and more pleasant. I would definitely recommend them! read more
