2914 W 25th Ave. 2914 W 25th Ave. 2914 W 25th Ave. Each time I set out for 2914 Coffee I have to repeat this address at least three times, like a mantra of sorts, so that I can remember that it is on W. 25th Ave. Not on W. 29th Ave. I wonder if I am the only one that gets confused between the street address and the street number. This is far and away my favorite coffee place in Denver. For me 2914 has everything that I want in a coffee shop: superb lattes, exceptionally friendly service, free internet, comfortable seating, and it is not teeming with narcissists, poseurs or other unsavory coffeehouse types. I admit that I haven't been to every place in Denver that pulls espresso shots but the way I gauge a great cup of coffee is how smooth my cuppa tastes going down. The lattes and other coffee drinks are sufficiently strong and whether you sip, slurp, gulp, swig, or glug your coffee drink of choice 2914 delivers. The coffee is supplied by Kaladi Brothers which helps to ensure that wonderful coffee taste. The vibe at 2914 is relaxed and the people who make your coffee incredibly friendly. From the first time I checked out this place I was greeted warmly and felt welcomed. As we all know that is not the case at many of Denver's noteworthy temples de café where the coffee jockeys think that they are doing you a favor by barely tolerating your presence, demonstrably hold you in contempt, and convey the feeling that you should feel honored to sample their coffee eminence. F*ck them. Can you tell that that type of arrogance annoys me, just a little? Anyway, there is never, ever any attitude, indifference, hectoring, or lecturing at 2914; just good people providing excellent customer service without pretense. The space at 2914 is filled with natural light and is reminiscent of a local art gallery where the off-white walls are hung with colorful paintings. There is free internet service (which you don't get logged out of, like at a two wheeled place that I also frequent), several tables where one can work (or get caught up on Yelp reviews) and some comfy chairs and a couch to hang and chat with friends (or get caught up on Yelp reviews). They also have some of the cleanest bathrooms in town, a necessity when spending multiple hours here like I do. Thank you for that. So remember the mantra: 2914 W 25th Ave. 2914 W 25th Ave. 2914 W 25th Ave. It's definitely worth employing a few extra brain cells to remember the location of this ideal neighborhood coffee spot in Jefferson Park. read more

This is truly a nice neighborhood coffee shop. When we walked in everybody was hunched over their laptops. Typical view in any coffee shops. So right away I felt at home. Lol! I like the vibe here. Mellow and chill. I didn't feel rushed one bit. The lady that helped us was friendly and warm.m I know I'm lame and only drink decaf. But theirs was one of the best decaf mocha. Friendly people here..ended up chatting with a very promising councilman. More power to him! Plenty of parking around the area. read more

Posted up a few times here when I needed a spot to work and wanted a little caffeine buzz. This spot was the closest to my gym, thanks Yelp search, and hit all major criteria. Caffeine and Wi-fi. There is plenty of two hour free street parking, and even after the place fills up, I notice a lot of spots still open. The venue is *cozy* with lots of seating and the decor is a mix of retro chic and my grandma's kitchen. Those could be the same for you, but for me, they are very very different. I was the first customer of the day this time and it took awhile for someone to come out and help me because the two staffers were in the back chatting, and possibly prepping for the day. I would caution the volume of their voices back there, because although I'm all about dropping an *f-bomb* the women who came in with her baby soon after me may not have been into it. I digress. The staff was super friendly to me and my latte was not only beautiful, but delicious. read more

I like this place, the service is good and last time I was in I had a very good espresso drink that I enjoyed. However today I decided to try the black coffee and quite frankly it was awful -- tasted like Folgers and was weaker than tea. My guess it is was just a bad brew, but still unacceptable. I'll try again another day and possibly update the review. Pretty disappointed that the baristas didn't try the black coffee to know it was a bad brew though. Shouldn't be serving this. read more

I really enjoy this coffee shop! It's not the best iced coffee or cold brew I've had but it's my neighborhood spot which keeps me returning. I wish they would have told me the matcha latte was completely unsweetened when i ordered it the first time (I did not realize until I got home) but otherwise I have always had a great experience here. read more

This great little café is on a tiny business strip just off Federal near the Highland neighborhood. The café is cute and eclectic, with mismatched vintage-y furniture - even a barber's chair! It also has a great patio out front with lots of seating for warm days. Like many of the shops I've visited, 2914 uses Kaladi Roasters coffee beans. I haven't had an espresso I didn't like using Kaladi bean, so I can go into most cafés with their beans and feel confident I'll like the coffee drinks. And as anticipated, I enjoyed my latte while eating a raspberry scone and working on the free WiFi. They also have a variety of paninis that sounded good. Unfortunately I'm rarely in this part of town, particularly during the time of day when I would need a coffee or somewhere to work, so I don't see myself frequenting the café. I highly recommend it for others in the area, though. read more

An adorable place. In a rebuilding area of the city, it appears to have raised the bar for the block. Good things are coming to 25th Ave, and this is the start, as new development and construction surrounds. When I met the the owner, Anthony, I immediately recognized that he's so very nice and customer-centric. Get to know him a little bit, and he's definitely the type of person you want to cheer for to be successful. In his first foodie venture, he's created a relaxed atmosphere in a clean, industrial, and yet slightly vintage coffee hangout. A somewhat smallish amount of mixed seating inside, and a nice little sidewalk sitting area out-front with tables and chairs. 2914 offers solid and free wi-fi, making it a great little hangout to write, or just kick back to read and UFC all of my reviews. As of now, you have 735 more to go, so you better get started. Five (5) special notes / mentions / recommendations / tid-bits: --------------- 1. Free street parking. 2. Yippee ki-yay, MoFo -- they have Affogato! If you've never had one, you must (and sometimes spelled with one 'f'). Espresso with ice cream dropped in. Here, they have two Little Man ice cream flavors to choose from: vanilla and chocolate. Do what I say, and not what I do (cuz I was too full, and was headed to an early dinner)...so I didn't actually have one. Boo. 3. Chai Latte. Two kinds were offered, and I picked a good one (honey spice?)...delish, and executed beautifully. 4. Remember to bring phone charger so you can take good pics all day long while visiting Denver. 5. I was looking for a place to do some work and am super happy I found this place. The setup is very comfortable and had just the right vibe for my paper typing needs. I had the iced Americano and gluten-free pumpkin bread. The iced Americano was AMAZING! I don't think I knew what an Americano was truly supposed to taste like until that moment. It had a beautiful, creamy, frothy crema that was unbelievably rich. The flavor of the Americano itself was super smoothy and had a malty, chocolatey finish. The gluten-free pumpkin bread was also really tasty. It was very moist and had lots of good pumpkin flavor. I definitely plan to come back some time soon. read more

Very happy with the coffee here! I'm a huge snob and very picky about all my coffee down to the finest detail and this was a no-nonsense cup of coffee. It didn't have some strange flavors and it was served at the right temperature. Apparently finding those things is harder than you'd expect. They use Kaladi Roasters which doesn't seem to be as common as most other local roasters. A bit of a shame that more shops don't use them. Customer service was fine, my barista was nice. The ambiance of the shop was definitely down to earth and a lot less pretentious than other coffee shops in the area that try too hard. It's very rare I'll give any coffee shop 5 stars, but this is definitely on the higher end of 4. It is probably one of the better coffee shops in that location. Worth a shot if you're in the area. read more

+ Atmosphere: Small, cozy, relaxed. Great music selection and low noise level so this would be an ideal spot to set up your laptop and get some work done. + Menu: Standard as far as espresso drinks and baked goods go. + Service: AWESOME. The dude working there was super chill and even let us watch him do some latte art! + Presentation: Latte art. I mean it doesn't get much cooler than that! + Parking: I thought they had a private lot behind the coffee shop but the signs seemed to suggest the parking was for the other buildings, so I just parked directly in front on the street. The guy working there said that was fine as long as it's not street sweeping day! I heard good things about this place so I decided to give it a try! This place is very small but definitely cozy. There was plenty of comfy seating, including my favorite lounging choice (a couch). It was very quiet besides the music playing in the background. The few people that were in there seemed to be busy on their laptops and no one was talking, so it seems like a good place to be if you want to get work done. They have a couple of board games though and it seems like it would be just as nice to just hang out with friends as well. The baked goods they had on display didn't look bad but didn't particularly appeal to me. They were pretty standard items like scones and such. My friend and I were indecisive but the dude working there was cool and suggested a hazelnut latte, so we got that and a vanilla latte. I asked if they did latte art there because I had never seen any in person and he said they did, and even sat at our table after brewing the espresso and showed us how he poors the milk into the cup to make the latte design. Super cool. More importantly, the coffee is actually good. Really good. Lovely flavor and not bitter in the least. To sum it up this is a pretty darn good place to grab some coffee! This place a has a great aesthetic, and it's located in cool part of Denver. I ordered the specialty Orange Mocha, and it was a little underwhelming. The orange didn't really come through at all. A friend of mine ordered the drip and it was a disappointment. The mug had not been heated, which means the coffee went cold very quickly. There also wasn't really any tasting notes coming through. That definitely makes for a bland cup of coffee. On the upside, the drink sizes were very generous. We also had great customer service. The folks behind the counter were very willing to remake me something if I didn't enjoy it. read more

FINALLY a good coffee shop in my hood! i love watching jeff park town square evolve all while keeping the historical integrity intact. we visited '2914 coffee' for the first time yesterday on our sunday fun day walk around denver and it was scrumdiddlyumptious. the interior is fun, open and inviting with great tunes a-rockin'. the exterior is adorable with a small patio area set up. i ordered an almond lattee and it rocked my world. my husband said his was the best cup of joe he's had in a loooong time! oh-oh AND they had little man ice cream sandwiches the size of my face! yes. i. will!! looking forward to the day they bust out the breakfast burritos - then it will officially be my favorite coffee shop. read more

This place is easy to miss but hard to forget. The lattes are perfect; served up in a real coffee cup complete with a saucer, spoon, and foam art. It's the kind of latte that most coffee shops show in pictures, but do not actually serve. The atmosphere is simple, but very relaxing. Artwork is displayed on the walls, the music is upbeat and soft, and the crowd is large and quiet. Most people sit and tap away on laptops or stare at smart phones. This is a perfect place to chill out for a bit and enjoy a perfect, classic latte. I will be back. read more

I've been to 2914 over a dozen times now and I finally feel compelled to say...their coffee always delivers!! After I returned from a month in Europe, 2914 was one of the few shops I found that served macchiatos & esspreso that rivaled my lazy sipping afternoons in Italy & France. So...I just keep coming back. I can say the espresso has never been bitter or over-roasted; the coffee has never been too strong or weak. When I ask for a dry(extra foamy) latte, the froth is amazingly perfect! This place keeps things simple. Simple ambience, simple food. Good spot. Good service. Good decor. Good coffee spot. It's solid, friendly, and offers a chill space to work, read, or lounge while sipping on your favorite pour. Bonus points for their almond milk, gluten-free pastries. The ambiance is nice and their service is warm, friendly, and overall this is a nice happy place. If I had to design a coffee shop that I would want to go to this would be it. I love the music, the ambiance, the paintings, the set up, everything about it. This place is so relaxing and conducive for getting work done or for reading or hanging out. The music is just the perfect type (trance) but also the right volume. There is also free wi-fi if I didn't already imply that. As for the coffee- fantastic! They use Kaladi Brothers coffee, which is supporting the local economy (and they support a lot of other local companies, too!). I love the coffee because it's roasting perfectly and it's not too bitter which results in just amazing tasting coffee! I am very impressed with the product I tried! The coffee shop has what so many others wants- a great location, amazing ambiance and spectacular coffee! I highly recommend checking it out! read more

I'm not from Denver... but I love to visit! I live visiting small local coffee shops wherever I stay in Denver. This place is super cute and was only a mile from my Airbnb. They have great coffee, chai and espresso beverages but unfortunately pretty icy service. I felt very unwelcome and quite bothersome to the ladies behind the counter. We knew exactly what we all wanted so we tried to order quickly and without fuss. I was with two friends so maybe we were just not their regulars and frustrating to deal with on a Friday morning at 9 am? Not sure exactly but I don't know that I'd return because of the service. read more

Love the coffee, love the space, love that they are open on Sundays and especially love the people. They have snacks, coffee stuff, non coffee stuff, indoor seating for 2's and 4's and a sweet lil outdoor patio. Bike parking, locally owned, local art and clean bathrooms. All winning. read more

Meet the Business Owner: Anthony and Melissa D.

Anthony and Melissa wanted to open up a neighborhood coffee shop that felt like your home away from home. A place to get work done, a place to meet, to unwind, or play a game. Anthony went to school for art and hoped to own his own gallery one day. While thinking of doing so he started working as a barista and manager of a coffee shop in Boulder, CO. He soon realized he had a knack for taking care of his team baristas and making latte art. Melissa, a hair stylist at the time was ready to make a change herself. So they moved to Denver and started looking for their home away from home. They found their space at 2914 W. 25th Ave. in Jefferson Park and realized the symbolism with in the address numbers. Most of the time it's Matcha mixed with a bunch of other stuff and at best it's culinary grade. The Matcha here was vibrant in color, smooth and slightly nutty. I elected to sweeten it with simple syrup and had it Americano. My husband opted for a vanilla latte with oat milk and while we've stopped at several places so far, this is the best latte we've had on our roadtrip. They make all of their syrups in house and the coffee was smooth and not bitter. The cafe is small and quaint. It does open up into a larger building with additional seating. Customer service was on point, and we even joked about the different types of Matcha and how some places use a ton of fillers and sugar.

From the outside looking in, you might not know this is a coffee shop. Very minimal signage from 38th. However when you walk in, you are greeted with smiles and a warm welcome almost instantaneously. They brand themselves as an Indonesian specialty coffee shop. I think it's cool that they've have a special Lunar New Year menu. And their pastry game is top notch, sourcing from heavy hitters like GetRight's and Banh & Butter. But for me, I can't help myself from ordering their espresso tonic. They pair the espresso with a coconut yuzu tonic, with a hint of vanilla, and a dried lemon wheel for garnish. It's sweeter than what I typically enjoy, however it's so damn delicious and refreshing! OBSESSED. It normally gets crowded in here, with plenty of people like me working remotely on their laptops. The owners are also extremely nice and have been behind the counter every time I've been. Coffeegraph has quickly risen to the core of my coffee shop rotation! I hope you give 'em a try!

The staff was very efficient, but they were heads down and nose to the grindstone. There wasn't a warm greeting when we entered, and service felt transactional. They were very busy, but there was still plenty of seating. The seating is extremely comfortable, and the atmosphere is bright, interesting, and extremely pleasant. The music was a little loud for conversation. Parking was no problem on a Saturday at 10 AM. Some parking is metered.
