When it comes to Easter, my family and I will usually go out to dinner - but we do not have a consistent place we go. We will usually stay with a spot for a few years, grow tired of it, and then try somewhere new. That is what brought us to 25 North. For the preceding three Easters, we were at another restaurant in Westchester - however it grew stale. I decided to look at other options, and remember having a great meal here at 25 North back in 2018 when I originally wrote my review. That being said, we booked it and made plans to dine here for Easter Sunday dinner. As I expected being a holiday, I walked into a crowded and loud restaurant. The layout is interesting - the dining room is separated into three levels with a small flight of stairs separating each of them. We were seated on the top level of the dining area, which was the best place in my opinion as it was the quietest- we were 19 people and only two other tables were in our vicinity. Decor was inoffensive - typical Westchester Italian restaurant aesthetics. What I liked about the Easter service at 25 North was that we were able to order off the regular menu - though they did have a few specials for the holiday. We decided to order apps family style for the table: drunken clams, string bean salad, sausage and broccoli rabe rolls, and fried calamari. These were all solid; the drunken clams were by far my favorite - super flavorful sauce and served with sausage and big cloves of garlic. The weakest IMO were the sausage and broccoli rabe rolls - I will say its partly because I expected more of a bread roll, but these were like egg rolls which made them a little to greasy for me. The sauce it came with though was tasty with a mild heat. For my main I got one of their specials - crab stuffed shrimp. This was six generally stuffed shrimp served on top of spinach in a light sauce. I really liked this dish - even though it looked like a lot, the crabmeat was light and the spinach made it so I didn't feel stuffed after finishing the dish. For dessert, I had tiramisu - on the menu they described it as a slice of goodness and that's exactly what it was. Service was great - they were on top of it and made sure food came out at a good pace and we were fully taken care of. Overall, my holiday experience at 25 North solidified my opinion that this is one of the best Italian restaurants in Westchester. I'll definitely be back sooner rather than later. read more

I was underwhelmed. Service was fine, place is fancy. Portions are big I will give them that. Pricey - but the food I got was underwhelming and oversalted. There's so many other good Italian places with big portions that are cheaper so I don't think I would come back here. Dessert was also subpar. read more

Went to 25 North for a volunteer appreciation dinner. I had the bacon burrata with honey which was soooo good. Only thing that could have made it better was for the burrata to be warm, but it was absolutely delicious. I had the chicken Marsala with mashed potatoes. The potatoes were so good. They were so flavorful and delicious that the chicken Marsala got wrapped up and taken home. The staff was wonderful and kind. The chef came out, was very hospitable and very humbly accepted our compliments. We sat outside under the tent and heaters. It was a beautiful night at a lovely location. read more

The service was impeccable the food was over the top and the ambience topped it off. We were a party of 7 adults and 2 children. We ordered the chicken nuggets for the little ones when we ordered appetizers. The waiter brought out a plate of bruschetta right away when a busboy brought and filled our water glasses and left 2 bottles of water on the table. He filled those bottles up continually. We did not have to ask for refills at any time. Eggplant rollatine was very good. I haven't seen fried zucchini shredded like this since Uncle Meg's restaurant in Eastchester NY. It was crispy and salted to perfection. Several in our party had Caesar salad. I could not believe the more than a dozen clams were on top of my pasta with white clam sauce. 2 ordered Chicken Burrata whole some had Chicken Martini. Came here for a friend's birthday and it was a great decision! We came for a late lunch/early dinner and we were one of the first to arrive. For our drink order, we decided to all order the same strawberry basil mocktail that was just the right amount of sweet. To start, we shared a wedge salad and the penne vodka. Both were so tasty! For my entree I ordered the chicken Luca. The portions here are so large! I took most of my entree home and it fed me for a few days after! For dessert, they did bring out a cake slice with a candle and sang. Wonderful way to end the night! Note- I took a star off because the parking situation was lacking, which isn't necessarily the restaurant's fault, just wish they had their own lot. read more

We were pleasantly surprised to eat dinner at 25 North in Mamaroneck last night. our meals surpassed our expectations at finding an Italian Continental menu which was true to its ethnic roots without any chi chi embellishments or nouvelle cuisine skimpiness! Spaghetti Carbonara was properly prepared with parsley, pancetta, cheese and an egg on top! The veal chop was grilled to perfection and my mussels in white sauce simply delicious! So, very very good. We sat outside and it was as blustery and raining; so hard to comment on ambiance. Heaters were perfect. Seats were a little hard. The food was high grade, fresh, well presented and toothsome. Potions were generous. I got the Caesar salad and it was a little under dressed and I was too lazy to ask for additional dressing so I own that. The chicken part was fabulous. It was pounded to perfection and just the right amount of breading. The sauce and the cheese were flavorful and toothsome. That said a bit more Italian seasoning and garlic might have only helped the dish. read more

The place is run down and dingy looking. If your going to have tablecloths you must have tablecloth service to go along with it. Sat us next to the window and there was 8 flies on the window so we moved to another table. The food was either cold or bland. The chicken Marsala comes over mashed potatoes which now makes it difficult to cut and dry because the mashed soaked of all the sauce. Seems like there's no organization or passion for food. Place is in need of a new manager and definitely a chef that will take pride in his food. Won't be back and letting people know to stay away. Step up your game. Went there for drinks so we stayed at the bar area. It's a cute modern place but cozy. Bar area is small and is the first thing you walk into and the restaurant is upstairs. For drinks we ordered espresso martinis and they were good. Also ordered light bites: fried calamari and my favorite was the bacon and burrata. Food was fresh and tasty. Bartender was very nice and helpful with suggestions. If you are looking for a place for good drinks and light bites definitely try this place. This place is fantastic!! We were greeted by the owner, Carmine upon arrival, and he checked in on us several times. Once seated, our waiter Juan was super knowledgeable about the menu and made some excellent suggestions for us. We had the risotto balls as an appetizer and then shared the lobster ravioli (delicious sauce) and the chicken picante that had great flavor and the right amount of heat. We then rounded it out with the Affogato and Tiramisu, both delicious... and since we were celebrating a birthday, they brought out amazing warm biscotti and sang Happy Birthday!! Oh my goodness, we went to this Pl.,. Gabe is the amazing waiter. you know all the food off the top of his head, and he recommends meals that are excellent. Very attentive kept coming back and asking if we were ready for next entrée or we need anything else. The food is very good. The place is big when you first come in on the first floor is a bar and that's where you get greeted then you go to the second floor of a couple of steps and then another floor and then is another floor which I think is the party room floor or could be a restaurant too. That's a no from me. When we came in we were seated and had no menu, just a barcode. Can we get regular menus? It was extremely uncomfortable to see the menu on the phone. It was all divided between categories. Also the wine menu was physical. So what is the point of having one physical menu and one not? Can you just have one menu? Very uncomfortable. We got some bread to start, was warm and fresh. But didn't taste good. Shrimp crostini for appetizer was decent. I was very hungry so we ate it, but it wasn't great. I would say was very average. But best part of the meal. I ordered shrimp with vegetable and it was more like cafeteria food. Just boiled vegetables with 6 shrimps. How can you prepare vegetables so bad? They had zero flavor! Zero! I could not eat that, I took it home, I might try to sauté them and add some flavor. You cannot serve boiled vegetables with no flavor in the restaurant and charge as much money for it. Shrimp was ok. Now I am home and I am not feeling great after that food. So disappointing. I regret we went to that place, considering that the area has so many nice places. Needless to say, my fiancé had birthday today, and I marked it as "birthday" on open table. No one mentioned it. So glad we found this place... every chance we get we come in for a meal. The servers are extremely generous with the wine pours which is always a plus. The portions are huge and the food is delicious so you'll be taking it home with you as well. So many options to choose from and you could also create your own dish with their ingredients. You never have to chase a waiter down in this place they are constantly coming back to the table. The Manager/Owner comes to every table personally and introduces himself as well as making sure you're satisfied with food and service. Absolute class acts here. I have celiac and ordered through Uber eats with a note for gluten free pasta and chicken parm. I had tried calling a few times and didn't get an answer. When I finally got through, they had told me my food was already made and they didn't get the Uber notes, BUT the gentleman that I spoke with assured me it wasn't an issue and re-made everything gluten free, FREE OF CHARGE. Not only was the service incredible, but the food is the best I've ever had, I'd put this up against any non-gluten free pasta or chicken parm any day and it would win 10 times out of 10. First time there. I absolutely loved everything! We started off with the lobster ravioli as an appetizer, the spiedini, and the meatballs. The lobster ravioli was outstanding in a creamy vodka sauce. The spiedini was garlicky and perfect with lots of mushrooms. The meatballs were also tasty in a rich marinara sauce. Such a wonderful start to a meal. For entrées, we ordered The seafood Luciano and the veal chop, bone in. All I can say is wow! The seafood was beyond fresh and so delicious, as it was beautiful to look at. The calamari was like butter and the clams and mussels were soft and plump. Now for the veal chop! It was gigantic, and tender as could be. It had a wonderful sauce that accompanied it that was poured over. Just perfection. Our server was friendly and very attentive. He made recommendations to us and helped steer us in the right direction. For dessert, we ordered the tartufo, and the homemade biscotti. What a treat! Both were gorgeous and tasted even better! Based on a recommendation, we came from Queens and CT to eat here tonight. The food was absolutely delicious: chicken thin and fresh, pasta al dente, portions were huge and the wine was generous. Our server Gabriel was so sweet and helpful and was always there. Bus boys were all dressed in uniform and helpful and attentive as well. We made a reservation but were seated as soon as we arrived, although there was more than one bar to sit at while waiting. We loved to see children heading back from the kitchen with ice cream bowls! Tonight was the first night I ever came to this place and I will be back the service was amazing. We had Miguel as the waiter and he was very nice and I met the gm carmine he was very nice and helpful great place. We sat in the outdoor tent, which I have to admit is the loudest setting I have ever been in for a meal. First off, my first impression of most Italian restaurants is how good their bread is. I figure if you get that wrong, conversation over. I also know when I'm served 2-day old bread. Unfortunately, that was the case. Secondly, I always order the calamari. Same premise. The calamari was undercooked and rubbery with a kinda pale tone. In a word, gross. We sent it back and they brought us a new batch. Exactly the same as the first batch. Perhaps they have no freaking clue? Or perhaps they don't have Italians in the kitchen? My main dish was "seafood 25" which is essentially like a zuppa di pesce . It was fine. Except that I asked it to be served over linguini ( as opposed to their zucchini linguini) and they served it over a capellini - it was fine , but you got to wonder - Do these folks care? I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with the selection, quality, portion and most of all.... Flavor! Its location is right on Route 1 in Mamaroneck but it looks like a residence at night when looking for it! But trust me, it is a wonderful dinner!
