Octopus ceviche

A long wait for average food and slow service. The service here is extremely slow. It took an hour to get our mains. The ambiance is casual Italian (without any Italian music). I got the Chicken Martini which was small and underwhelming. I asked for no breading because I'm on keto and they brought me potato's (facepalm). This place is not keto friendly (they don't know what it is). An underwhelming experience. They never refilled my tables water glass until the end of our meal. We had to ask for water and we were never offered.

The new ownership of Toscana in Eastchester has really turned things around. Tonight they hosted a Five-Course Wine night and it was absolutely delicious. Five courses each paired with a different wine. Food: Between the two of us we tried everything offered. Our faves were the Polenta and Sausage and Veal Sorrentio. But honestly everything was delicious! Drinks: My husband enjoyed the 5 wine pairings with each meal. He normally doesn't care for two of the wines they offered but to his surprise he thoroughly enjoyed the Pinot Grigio from northern Italy and the Pinot Nior. Best part was they prepared in advance for me to have a different mocktail for every course as well. I haven't gotten that anywhere in lower central Westchester. Mad props. Thank you Phil for hosting, Sergio for the wine education, and Rachel for the mocktails! The service and experience were fantastic!

Brunch, Eggs in Purgatory

We went for brunch, I can comeback to have a great Sunday after Mass. Amazing food, great service and friendly environment with live music. Highly recommend!

My favorite dish so far is Shrimp Scampi at Toscana on Main for Dinner with a Aperol Spritz

Toscana on Main's dining experience under new ownership is classy and inviting. They have great food and great service. I love the bartenders Cat & Michael. I had a large party in March here & everyone was happy with the food, despite a full house. I have visited every week for either Happy Hour, Ladies Night or Brunch. I found Toscana on Main on Instagram & Facebook.

Stracciatelli Soup
Sal E.

As soon as we sat down, the waiter brought over butter with the bread basket as the bus boy filled our water glasses. We were asked for a drink order as they brought our menus. I started out with Straciatelli soup and my daughter and her husband had a salad that had pear and apple slices with gorgonzola cheese. for my entrée, I ordered the Osso Buco with mashed potatoes. my daughter ordered mahi Mediterráneo, which she raved about. My son-in-law ordered Bronzino Mediterraneo, which included all kinds of seafood over angel hair pasta. He really enjoyed that. My osso bucco came with that little tiny, fork that I used to get the bone marrow out of the center of the bone. It was so tender that it just peeled off the bone. It was a very large portion of meat with mashed potatoes. We were all so full, but there was no room for dessert. I would've ordered the tartufo, that I usually get. The atmosphere is very elegant.Sal E. New Rochelle

Food was delicious~ very friendly and helpful staff~ cute backyard Will definitely come back

Octopus was very good with white beans.

Food is very good everything I fresh, but the only thing that I didn't like they didn't have a kids menu, and they should have more Italian food on the menu.

I also tried the truffle pizza. I loved the ambiance here. There were lots of tables, lots of spots at the bar, and the pizza oven was right in the middle of the dining room which was very cool to see. I loved it here and can't wait to come back!

We even ran into an old friend who lives nearby, and she confirmed what the vibe already suggested, this is very much a go-to spot for locals. Parking is manageable. There's metered street parking, and if that's tight, there's a paid lot around the corner with plenty of space, which makes things easier. Service was solid. Our waitress had clearly been there a while and carried that local familiarity, comfortable, knowledgeable, and attentive without overdoing it. To drink, I ordered The Perfect Gentleman, and it lived up to the name. You immediately pick up the chamomile aroma, which gives it a really smooth, refined feel. A well-crafted cocktail. We started with the Crema Di Burrata and Arancini alla Piemontese, both were excellent. The burrata was fresh and creamy with just the right balance of seasoning, and the truffle and mushroom risotto balls delivered great flavor and texture. For dinner, we shared the Goat Cheese Pizza. While the combination of walnuts, balsamic red onions, baby arugula, and truffle honey sounded great on paper, it came out a bit on the drier side and felt like it was missing that extra punch to bring it all together. We wrapped up with Hazelnut Chocolate bonbons, which were a nice, sweet finish to the meal. We went in not overly hungry, but between the apps, pizza, and dessert, it ended up being more than enough. Overall, it's easy to see why this place has a strong local following. Definitely a spot I'd recommend, especially if you're in or around Eastchester.

I opted for water as my grandson did and his fiancé order a glass of white wine. It was Sauvignon Blanc, and she found very satisfying. For an appetizer, we shared a truffle pizza. It was a different flavor that I never had before, but very tasty. For entrees they ordered a sliced steak and chicken parm. I went for the seared duck with mushroom gravy. I never had duck served this way. I really really enjoyed it. No one wanted a dessert so my grandson ordered espresso and I ordered a cappuccino. The waitress brought us thin slices of powdered sugar biscotti as a compliment. The ambience is quiet and cozy and dimly lit with an electric light on each table. On the menu it mentions like this restaurant is a sister location of Cafe Alia, also in Scarsdale. This was an excellent choice for Thursday night. You won't be disappointed.Sal E. New Rochelle

The service is always stellar with a good wine menu. The ambiance is peaceful and cozy always with the Garth Road locals who are such wonderful people. But I actually came here twice this week because of their personal pizzas. The manager told me to try it and I fell in love with it, in addition to their mouth watering paella. I even stopped by there yesterday just to have a couple of glasses of wine. Knowing myself, I'll be back there this weekend or next week.

Just me, which I was hoping there would be a bar so I could sit at it rather than take up a whole table but - was sat immediately and ordered a drink. Inside is very small - Long and thin with dark ambience and low lighting. Liked the atmosphere a lot. As a table of one, they brought out table rolls with a bruschetta type spread to put on them. This was good - though butter would have been fine too. The waitress explained specials, and I went with the handmade mozzarella cheese sticks for my appetizer. These were very good. The marinara was also tangy and tasty. For my entree I ended up ordered both the cacio e pepe and the special chicken Parmesan with tri-color sauce. The cacio e pepe was VERY good. Al dente noodles, the sauce was about as perfect as you can ask for - just the right balance of cream and pepper. Wow. The tri-color chicken Parmesan was incredibly good too: thin and crispy chicken, a thin layer of cheese melted on top, and the three sauces on top of that providing a tapestry of tasty flavors: marinara, vodka, and pesto. I could eat that all day. So good and a MUST HAVE if you travel here. The dish also came with a small side of vodka sauce on penne. I ended up with tiramisu as dessert, though they were missing a dark chocolate item which would have been perfect. Sipped a coffee and paid satisfied. A 5-star from me is pretty rare - so again: GET HERE - IT IS A FLAWLESS PLACE.
