I hate doing laundry, but love having clean clothes, and since my apartment doesn't have a washer/dryer, I've had to find a laundromat nearby. Laundry Basket has been great. Their prices are really reasonable ($1.25 for the top loaders for single loads, $2 for the front loaders for double loads, $4-something for the front loader jumbo washers and I think they have an even bigger one; the dryers are $0.25 for 7 minutes). They have so many washers and dryers that I've never had to wait for one, but I like to go early. One of the best things about Laundry Basket is the staff. Chris has been working when I go there lately and he's always working so hard to keep the place clean and really cares about doing a good job. He's really nice, always eager to help with any questions or issues, and just doesn't stop cleaning. The gals that work there are super nice too- I just don't know their names. But once when I forgot a load, one of the ladies went in the back and brought out some bags of left-behind laundy and I was thrilled to have found my stuff! The neighborhood isn't the greatest after-hours, but the staff does a great job at keeping the place and the customers safe. The parking availabilty has always been good when I go too. One last tip: if you're using the change machine, it dispenses it in $5 in quarters at a time. So if you use a $20- you'll have to wait for four quarter drops. The first time I went, I didn't realize it and walked away before I got all my change. The guy waiting behind me took it I assume. But they do have a sign on the machine to remind you. I almost got carjacked, jumped, or robbed (I'm not sure what their intentions were ) by a gang of kids... I say kids because they were younger than me. I'm in my 40's and they had to be no more than in their late teens. They surrounded my car and stopped. I didn't wait around to see what was going to happen next. The laundry mat is not in best of neighborhoods, so although it's open 24-hours it's best to go in the daytime. Otherwise I would give it a 4 star review. It's a little small and can be tough to move around. It can also be sketchy even on it's best day. read more

The laundry basket attendant is clearly on drugs, she's rude, unprofessional. No manners, it's not what you say it's how you deliver it, and her delivery was poor. She literally was arguing with two of the customers, and with out us, she wouldn't have a job, the owner needs to get rid of her. On top of that they have roaches!!Do not come here unless you want to possibly take them home with you, and if you know just one can multiply so quick!!! I would've never posted this review had the customer service not been terrible. I hope the owner reads this and gets rid of this attendant, it is a right to work state! read more

I've been majorly procrastinating on washing some large bedding items and finally got the motivation tonight -- all the cool kids go do laundry on Saturday nights, right? Walking in, the place was clean and there were several staff members about who greeted me & seemed friendly. I definitely have to give kudos to the updated machines - typically in most laundromats the equipment is (at best) outdated but most of the washers & dryers here looked new -- fancy Electrolux models with digital controls. Prices were reasonable: $2.00 for the medium front-loading washer that I used for a pillowtop bedcover, and $4.25 for the large front loaders against the back wall, which I used for a king-sized quilt. I took advantage of the Yelp check-in offer for 2 free dryer loads, but otherwise it would have been only $1.50 for the two dryers I used. The machines were quick as well, so overall I was in and out in about an hour - not bad considering the large quilt I had (which I thought would take way longer to dry)! read more

I haven't lived somewhere without laundering capabilities in YEARS, so I was a little clueless as to where to take my underthings and unmentionables. Thankfully, my fellow Yelpers pointed me in the right direction! This place is a laundry mat. It's not fancy, but it's not really supposed to be. It was very clean with a lot of hustle and bustle. The attendants working were fun to watch, because they had so many things to take care of...it was like a well conducted orchestra of suds and fabric softener. I did all of my laundry (normally it would have been almost two loads) in one of their regular sized machines for a measly buck. It took thirty minutes and then it was time to dry. It says it's $.25 to dry, but that's only for 8 minutes of dry time. I used two quarters and most of my stuff was dry. If you check in on Yelp you get your first two dryer sessions for free (or 16 minutes worth). I decided to save mine for later, cause that's how I roll. Anyway, I'll definitely be going back to keep my clothes looking and feeling good. read more

Two years later we're still using this place. $1.25 for a washer or $2.75 for a triple load. 75 cents will get you 10minutes on their super big dryer. Or a quarter for 8 minutes on the normal ones. I didn't drop my clothes here as I had planned. I wanted to, but when I went inside and to the drop off counter no one was there. So I called the number posted, which is what is says to do if no one is there. Within a few seconds a lady came inside from out front where she had been smoking, cigarettes in hand. And she promptly informed me that I had interrupted her break. So, I had doubts at that point about even having my clothes done here. Then she told me it would be about 4 hours and it would be a $10 surcharge plus the weight for my comforter. So I left. For two reasons. I didn't want my clothes to smell like cigarettes when they were done, and I didn't want to pay another $10 just to have my comforter washed. Needless to say, I will never go back there. What I like about this place is that no matter what time of day/night, there is always an attended there. Their all so helpful, either asking me if I need a cart when I pull up or telling me theres a quarter already in a machine. Their so clean conscious that I was almost denied the bathroom when the kids before me were playing in the sink. He wanted to clean it for me but I couldn't wait. LoL. Theres plenty of washers and dryers, couches and recliners along with the plastic standard chairs. A corner with a kids play house and patio furniture outside. 75¢ to wash and 25¢ to dry. My washer at home konked out the night before and I needed someplace close where I could get in and out pretty quickly to wash my work clothes before my shift. The place is convenient at 19th ave, just north of Camelback on the west side of the road. Don't know what laundromats usually look like but this was bright, clean and there were lots of choices for machines (Monday between 10:30am and 11:30am). They don't take ATM cards so if you need to buy detergent or other supplies, you'll need cash. I had one load and was in and out of there in about an hour and for just under $2.00. There are 2 nice cushy seats, additional hard seating and outdoor seating with tables which I used so I could work on homework. Lady attendant was pleasant. There was a bathroom which I didn't use. With the holidays and my busy schedule I decided to drop my laundry off again for the "fluff & fold" service here. Last time I thought they had double billed me and someone from the laundrette contacted me to inform me they had a $10.00 min. So it was my bad.. Well this morning I dropped off 27 pounds of laundry. Only about 3 loads. The attendant informed me, very politely, that she was very busy today and the laundry wouldn't be ready until the next morning. I told her that was okay. I was on my way home tonight and I received a call.. my laundry was done. Wow! I saw the piles of laundry waiting to be done when I dropped mine off. No way should mine be ready today. . The attendant on duty when I picked up my laundry was very friendly. . He even carried it all out and put it in my car for me. This place exemplifies customer service. Great facility! I first came here in mid-June as I could not rely on the laundry facilities at my apartment complex. The first thing I noticed was how clean the entire area was, especially the entrance. The management has put out patio furniture for their customers and to be able to sit outside and catch up on your computer work or read is really a great service. I went there for the second time, tonight, and it was extremely busy. I had an unusually amount of clothes (including blankets) so I decided to use the Electrolux "MEGA WASHERS" on the west wall as well as the Electrolux double washers. I'm amazed at how well they worked. No way would my apartment complex laundry facilities have been that good. The attendant, Dirk, was always visible and making the rounds; he even came over and helped me fold my sheets (yeah, I was struggling). This is an amazing facility. If I ever need large items washed this is where I go. This morning I had a question about my laundry, and Chris who was diligently cleaning the machines, took the time to explain different options. He was extremely courteous and took the time to make sure my questions were answered. He is the perfect example of an employee who takes his job seriously. I don't normally write reviews but this really upset me. i have been coming here for a long time. I'm quietly do my laundry and like to people watch. well tonight was busy like it always is and they have hired a new girl i didn't get her name but she was working hard she was doing her folding and then she cleaned even with all the people she tried mopping the floors. Stephanie was in doing her own laundry and helping her out I felt considering all the people the place was pretty clean. Well this is what upset me Ashley comes in and barks at Stephanie that tops weren't done (unsure what that means) and Stephanie told her that she herself did less the hour ago. Ashley just continues to be rude to Stephanie and then goes over to another customer and talks S**t about her which i feel is very unprofessional. Today was my first time here. I was very impressed by the cleanliness, price, TVs, and WiFi. The attendant was extremely helpful and was constantly clean the entire 2 hours that I was there. Needless to say, I think I found my new Laundromat! 3/23 - went again last night and left around 8pm. I forgot my nice memory foam bathroom rugs in one of the dryers and didn't realize it until 5 am this morning. I ran up there in hopes that they were still there. The attendant had taken them out of the dryer, folded them, and had them bagged up for me. He said they looked nice and knew that if he left them in the dryer that someone would take them, so he put them up until someone came to claim them. Even if we lived farther away, it would be worth the drive to go here. The prices are great, the staff is nice, and we can wash all our clothing for the week for a family of 4 for under $20 (that's including detergent, dryer sheets, stain remover, plus a snack for my husband while he waits on the clothes). I had to find a laundromat because we are moving and our washer and dryer are now in storage and I was lucky to find this place. I read the great reviews and drove over here. At first glance I wasn't sure if I had found the right place and was nervous to go in but when I entered I found it to be clean and well lit. I found the single top loading washers to be standard size instead of half size like I encountered last week at another laundromat which was a relief. The attendant on Judi was approachable and friendly. She provided the password for free wifi, a token to use the restroom which was clean and because of the current yelp deal for checking in she provided me with 1.50 to dry two loads of my clothing. I will not be in Phoenix much longer but if I need more laundry done I will be coming back here for sure. read more

The Laundry Basket is an awesome place to do one of the most annoying things you have to do, laundry. It's a pretty easy choice for me, since I live in the apartment building behind the laundromat. There's always empty machines and empty seats. A good selection of vending machine items, good parking, and of course, a ton of machines. I like to use the high efficiency front loading machines since they get more done for less and seem to do a better job (plus I like that it auto dispenses the detergent and softener). The place is always clean and there's always a friendly attendant working. Honestly it shouldn't be too hard to know what a good laundromat is, clean and easy to get the laundry done, and the laundry basket is both. I'm actually here right now on a Sunday afternoon and the place isn't too busy, it's nice. read more

I always give my ratings in comparison to the competition in the area. We just started coming here as we moved into the area and haven't bought a washer and dryer yet. We found the Laundry Basket on Yelp, we're pleased with reviews and rating and checked it out. My boyfriend had never been to a laundromat and was a little nervous. This place is clean, well priced, machines aren't dilapidated, attendants are friendly (Katt is awesome!), it's great. We haven't tried the services, we just do our own. We came back a second time after a power outage the night before to find their power was still out - total bummer. Not their fault. Clean and bright, with a friendly attendant (Antonio) and reasonable charges. There is plenty of parking, but it's a bit cramped. There's a gigantic six-load dryer that I'll be trying. I'm doing wash in a six-load washer and a five-load washer. There is ample folding space, and many laundry carts are available. I'm here because our washing machine broke, and will definitely return if our new washing machine breaks down. Interesting clientele ... Antonio deserves a raise! read more

I was not aware until Sunday that drop of Laundry was even a thing. Well it is and Laundry Basket nails it! The price is $.99/lb on weekdays and $1.25/lb on weekends and I seriously may never touch another load of laundry again. Katt was there when I dropped my laundry off and she did such a great job. My clothes were clean and smelled so nice, and folded perfectly I might add! It was $35 for a little over a weeks worth of laundry for 3 people. As a mom, what a blessing to have this option when being 4 months pregnant and toting a 5 year old around. Instead of spending the day at the laundry mat I was able to run my errands and go home and relax! How nice! Great place. First time coming here! My husband & I were dreading doing laundry at a mat but we had no choice.., currently are without washer & dryer at our new home. So we looked for laundry mat that was open 24 hours & found this one. We were skeptical due to location (19thave & camelback ghettoooo) but seemed to have great reviews. So we said why not?! Anywho place is clean & the worker lady is very friendly. Wash & dry is quick! Also got the 2 free dry loads when I checked in. Scorrrrreeeee!! Will not be coming back though. My first time at the laundry place I was a tad skeptical but it's close to home. It's low priced and has lots of washers. The attendant Dirk is really cool he was willing to help and when I had some questions offered all types of assistance. Friendly courteous and attentive. The place was cleaner than most laundry mats. Just came out here from LA so finding a 24 hour laundry place is awesome! It's reasonable and I forgot my washing materials and they had cheap detergent and bleach but cheap as in price not cheap as in quality. I really enjoyed this place and wait what a laundry place with actual free wifi?! I can watch Netflix while I wash! Relatively clean and pleasant place to do laundry. Also a little more affordable than another place I tried in Phoenix.

The washers are $1.25 and the dryers are 25 cents for about 10-15minutes (i noticed it varried). There is a small section off to the side for children and Tv's are located inside as well. It's really clean and hasn't been too busy the times I've gone here. I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area. read more
