This is my fourth time at this laundromat and it's my favorite so far. If you want to purchase a card, it is .50 cents. I don't mind this as I would prefer adding money occasionally rather than having a ton of small charges for every machine I use. The money to card converter always works as well from what I can tell. The machines are all in working condition. I like how there are many different types of washers, depending on your needs (you can get an entire family's done in one big load if you want). I personally don't think that the dryers work super well, but they are cheap or you can dry partially and do the rest at home. I wish they dried completely, though. There are also tons of carts to move your stuff around. Everyone seems incredibly nice and polite. I've left and come back (on time, but still left my stuff unattended) and haven't had any issues. From what I can tell, the attendant that works here is amazing! I always see her cleaning, she never stops. She's also super nice and helpful if you have questions. Of course, every place could always use more seating and WiFi (it does have a Cox WiFi but I think you need Cox internet for that). But there are plenty of errand things to do around here so I really don't think you have to stay (fill up gas, car wash, etc). Overall, I always will come back here as long as I don't have a w/d in unit. I never have to wait for a washer and the card is hassle free. Note: last washes have to go in at 9:30 because it closes at 11. read more

This location is always clean, the staff is friendly and it's THE best place to do bulk laundry! Highly recommend!

Very friendly! and surprisingly clean! Good vibes from other customers and staffers. Highly recommended. read more

This location is NOT open until 11pm. Doors are locked at 9/9:30 pm. I understand they don't want to be stuck waiting on people past closing time, but locking the doors, and not letting anyone in 2 hours early, is called CLOSING. That's plenty of time for someone to do a load or two. read more

Came to this location at 0752 and it's closed. Lights are on, business signs are up but the doors are locked. Hours of operation should be updated. read more

I had lots of laundry to do like 15+ loads. I was able to wash and dry within about 2 and half hours. My only complaint is they lock the doors at 9 pm. I mean lock as in if you are drying you cannot get back in to grab your clothes. it's rather ridiculous!! I think it has to be that the employee does not want to watch the door so they just lock everyone out and in. That needs to be fixed for me to come here again. What a hassle!!! read more

Of the few laundromats I've been to in Uptown, this is by far the best. It is clean, it is never too crowded. The machines work great (I dried a 35lb load including jeans for $1.00) so it is very cost efficient. Cons: The card reader to load/check balances doesn't work great. You have to finagle the card a bit so that's frustrating. Also- I wish they would have public outlets for laptops and phone chargers. I wouldn't even mind paying if it meant I could get online work done while I wait. Overall though, it's a great place to do your laundry. read more

I have never had a bad experience here. And as far as laundromats go, I feel as though it's a good one. It's always clean and their card system has been updated to be able to take debit/credit cards. A suggestion would be to list the hours on here, since that is why I am on here now :). read more

Clean updated facilities located close to a circle k fair pricing on laundry soap fabric softeners and bleaches coupons and discounts for senior students and everyday people this is both a full-service laundry and a self-service laundry I love it here it fits into my budget and they always find a way to add additional money to my laundry card I go to the one on 27th Ave and Indian school so I can shop at the Goodwill or go out to eat at McDonald's staff is super friendly the facilities are clean and located on a local bus line read more

I haven't used a laundromat in 30 years but this place was super clean and the staff was very helpful. They have very large machines to accommodate any size load. The prices are very reasonable. I would recommend. read more

Ok, most people hate going to the laundromat to do their laundry. I have no choice but actually like coming here. This place is super-clean with a friendly staff (mostly Spanish-speaking but I'm fluent so THERE :P). There are *no* pigeons running around this place. Always a plus! You use a card here, no quarters dug from under the couch cushions. I like that. The place is spotless. There's always someone cleaning up. The machines are regularly cleaned out of forgotten socks and panties. They even have a little store with a variety of different detergents! They are open late, which seems to be when I go there. Many TVs throughout, tuned into different stations. There's even a PacMan machine to play! read more

Yoser! A Laundromat with free WiFi! I mean how freakin' cool is that!? The place is well maintained and has PLENTY of machines ... The only issue I have with this place is that it's "coinless" meaning you will need to buy a card to use any machine. That being that, you will inevitably leave with a card that has money left on it, and the prices are not cheap. read more

They don't have enough swamp coolers, even for September. We dripped with sweat while standing in the saunalike heat of the place. Inevitably, I got ripped off by one of their vending machines and the staff didn't care, even though the sign said they're authorized to issue refunds. Machines constantly need shepherding and prodding by management to run through an entire cycle, and I learned to look at the displays first to be sure it was working - they don't keep up with the signage either to tell you which machines are broken. (How hard can that job be??) Besides the fact already noted that inevitably you end up with a magneto-card with ten cents on it, damning you to a cycle of re-visits for a card that never gets fully used up, the worst part of the "coinless" experience is that YOU NEED BILLS to load to your nifty "coinless" space-age-Jetsons-magneto-card - the stupid machines NO CAMBIO GOD DAMMIT, which is Spanish for "they don't accept change". So forget about your typical laundry-day dash through your car's change tray and rooting through your pockets. It will help you not. Floor and bathroom are clean enough. Admittedly it's no worse than most laundromats, but don't let anybody tell you it's anything special. At least it's not the the hellish Econo-Wash down the street at 15th and Indian School, which is like heading to a third-world country, grab your pith helmet, quinine pills and snake stick.. Despite the reviews below, this laundromat had *no* WiFi at all in 2013. Maybe they did at one point, but it must have broken down like everything else, or maybe they're trying to figure out still how to charge for that, too. Husband adds plaintively, "Can't the Health Department require WiFi in all laundromats?" read more

*There is no free wifi here* I go here on a weekly basis and on occasion you can mooch off some of the surrounding companies wifi but their is no "Coinless" wifi. Their are always machines open. They have top load and side load. The smallest side load is going to run you around 2.79 and although it says twice the capacity... I disagree. A comforter will only fit in the next larger one which is an extra dollar. They do have a bill exchanger that takes 10's and 20's and spits out 5's. The dryers recently went up to 0.60 cents per 20 minutes. Almost anything will dry in two runs on hot (load of towels, comforter etc). In terms of laundromats this place is clean and quite comfortable (in terms of climate). They have lots of swamp coolers running to keep the heat out. All around good place. On occasion you may get a Mexican guy that comes through and asks you in a really polite and interesting voice if you'd like to buy some tamales. So if you're lucky enough, you may get laundry and dinner done in the same trip! read more

This was the most expensive laundromat I have been to, the idea is that you won't pay attention to how much they are charging you per wash and dry since you are using a pre-paid card. You have to look at the small scrolling digital screen to see what it will cost you. Speaking of which, bring small bills, the change machine is broken and the attendant will not give change. Any money you put on the card is non-refundable. Yeah, just find a place that will give you change and takes quarters. read more

With the exception of a few machines being inoperative usually, this place is well lit, air conditioned, and efficient. I do laundry about once every other week and it's so convenient to use the 80lb machine and only have one load. NOTE: these dryers are not your household Maytag, they are COMMERCIAL STRENGTH. $1 for 27 minutes on high is sufficient for a load that fills it almost halfway. If you don't load it as full, use medium or take it out earlier, or else you'll have toasted clothes. They keep everything clean, I would eat off the floor here. Only downside is the meth heads that hang out, twitching and looking like they want to try to break into your car. read more

Everything's good they just need to stop being cheap and turn on the ac. It's 110+ most of the year! And there's no place to charge your phone which is no big deal cause it's not like your gonna be here for a while read more

Yeah, I concur with a lot of the reviewers here about their card system. Personally, I don't think a card system is a bad idea, but their's uses a card you purchase from them, and pay $.50 for.. I've been to other laundromats that use credit cards, and that works great. I now have one of their cards I purchased for $10.00, and it still has like $4.?? on it. I only had a $10.00 bill when I went in. It does have lots of nice new machines, and the prices are in line with other local laundromats. Except, you can only purchase $1.00 worth of drying time (24 minutes) at a time, so if your clothes are just a little damp, you can only buy another dollar's worth of time. Kind of a waste of my money (very important to me), and electricity, in a city in the desert, where water, air conditioning, and electricity should saved. It was clean while I was in there, although I'm not sure there was an attendant. Didn't use the bathroom while there, but if it's true that they charge to use the bathroom, then that SUCKS. Personally, I dislike any business that will not provide a clean restroom for use by it's paying customers. That should just be a given. read more

Our new washer/dryer is not working and I can't get service for another week. Based on reviews, we came to this location. In a little over an hour, I was able to finish 6 loads! The store is very clean. The staff was very helpful. Excellent choice. I will definitely be back if I need a laundromat again. read more

I get strange looks from my friends when I tell them I actually enjoy going to the laundromat. They always ask if our washing machine is broken, or if I'm in a domestic dispute over something. Yes, years of pumping caustic chemicals in order to clean clothing has corroded the drain pipe to the washer, causing spillage and overflow. But, I can wash seven loads of laundry, dry and fold in about the time it takes to launder one load. Fantabulous! Now, don't hate on me or throw those evil eye daggers my way, but part of what puts CoinLess so awesome is its entertainment value. Once I went midweek and met Robert from the Secretary of State office. He was accompanying a somewhat disheveled-looking gentleman in his washing (I believe Robert was helping out a homeless man and I think it's truly inspirational when one treats another human with dignity). Robert was having some difficulty with the product dispenser so I gave him the rest of my dryer sheets. See, good gets good. But today when I went it was a comedy of errors: a front-loader was leaking bucket loads of water, 98% of the dryers were in use *at the same time*, these punks were playing hacky sac next to me and this guy with shockingly hairy arms spent 8 minutes organizing his white plastic hangers. Eight flipping minutes!! Dude, they're all the same! You don't need to examine each one and relocate it for 8 minutes...but it was a great distraction. Another time I went I saw and entire family who apparently did not own mirrors that showed them from the neck down, as their clothes were a sick mess of too tight and too pink. CoinLess claims to have WiFi but I couldn't get my laptop to recognize the server that one time so I cannot validate this statement. Besides, when you have so much to observe, who needs the internet? read more

I would not recommend this business. Their bill exchanger is broken with a sign that states "repairs are not scheduled". The attendants do not have cash so any bill denomination you insert in their machine will be loaded to a pre-paid card, minus $0.50 fee. Those machines also malfunction often causing purchases of new cards when you are only trying to add funds to an existing card. Each card costs $0.50, no refunds. I put the card in my purse and when using it at the dryer, got an error: Card Damaged. No one available for balance refund. Must buy new card. The front loaders leak detergent. The attendants do not speak English. Over two visits, I lost $2.25 in fees and a malfunctioned card (that balance was lost). There are cleaner, cost effective, customer servicing laundry facilities in the valley---I suggest you use any of them. Just not this one on Indian School and 7th Ave! read more

FAIL, This place was cool when they first opened. I go here on occasion when I have a bunch of laundry piled up. You have to buy a card and put money on it. Well I have a couple of cards as I have forgotten to bring it before. Well I go to use one of my cards and it says invalid card. I had money on it and bought it here. Well I call the number on the back and it rings to a full voicemail box. The attendant is rarely there but I asked her and she offered no help. They even state to fill out a refund form located next to the cards. Well guess what, there are no forms or a place for them. As far as the place, it used to be clean but they cut the help and so it goes hours with no attendant. One time I was there and there was even food on the counters that someone had left. The prices are pretty steep to use the good machines and the driers take at least two cycles to dry anything. It is sad too because this place used to be nice. read more

The worst laundromat I've ever been to. First of all, they have an awful card system that you can't understand and it doesn't warn you before it takes your money. Spent 7 dollars on 2 washes and 2 drys with should have been about 5 dollars. They CHARGE you to use the bathroom, and the only way you can pay is with the prepaid card that they issue to you. The machines work well, but everything about this place is dreadful, and their weekly deal and good dryers is the only thing that they have going for them. The employees are also rude. The old lady looked at our time and asked if that was our dryer. In a very condescending voice she looks at her watch and says, "well, I'm leaving here at 11." Implying that she's kicking everyone out at 11. I guess that's what you get when you go to a laundromat on 7ave and Camelback. Avoid this place if you aren't a fan of frustration. read more

Avoid this place! I work long hours and need a place that I can do laundry late at night. For 5 years I have counted on this place to be opened between 10-12 pm. Tonight I walked to this mat after work and arrived at 10:27 knowing I would still be in time because last load is at 10:30. They locked their doors early and would not me come in even though just a few seconds prior they let in someone else. I begged to be let in and repeated that it wasn't 10:30 and I was desperate. I was so embarrassed as peope inside were all staring at me. As if walking in the heat wasn't tasking enough, shamefully walking home with dirty clothes was worst of all. read more

Always clean and always friendly. The staff that there, no matter who it is, is constantly making sure that the facilities are clean and always available to help. They are real good at tagging if a machine goes down so that people don't lose their money. I've never had an issue here read more

Prices are reasonable, but the place is dirty. Better than the other one on 15th which looks dangerous.

It's always clean and the machines are working every time I come here. I've never had a problem with the card machine, although the bill changer doesn't work-just know that it probably never will, it's been here since the beginning and all of the tweakers using it for non laundry related motives have probably ruined it. read more

Stole my sheets! If I could give this a negative rate I would! I had sheets that were not dry when everything else was, got distracted by an urgent phone call, gathered what was dry and left. I forgot my sheets in the dryer. I asked the wom as n working there, cleaning if she had seen them, put them in lost and found. She started for the office then stopped. She told me she had seen them when she came in to work, so if no one was there, they should have been put in lost and found. She said, no, called someone speaking Spanish, then told me to call Police, pointed to the sign saying not responsible. She then said if items are left at closing they are put in the office, funny why were mine still in the dryer when she opened then and what did she do wirh them? I guess she liked my nice new aheets! I am so upaet, I know she is lying and when I called the office twice you get a recording and no call back! The coinless laundry on Scottsdale road and Continental ripped me off with 8 dollars, so i called they're toll free number left several messages never once did anyone answer, and no one ever called me back.
