I gave a review three months ago about a young lady that is awesome and now I'm going to do another one. Last night, 05/30/2022, I was doing my laundry and I had three weeks of laundry to wash. In the middle of doing my laundry I was pushing in a laundry cart and took a very nasty fall over the threshold and the staff working this shift, Stephanie, and a customer helped me up from the floor. I got a superficial wound on my righ bicep and I needed to go home to get my first aide kit. Stephanie finished my laundry per my request by loading three big dryers to finish my laundry. i returned with my first aide kit and Stephanie mended my wound for me. After my clothes were dry, knowing how much pain I was in she wouldn't let me finish folding and putting my shirts and pants on hangers, she did all of it for me. This is the best laundromat I've ever been to in all my 72 years of existence. If all entities were like this laundromat and have employees as awesome as Stephanie and the other staff there, this world be a better place. OK, it is a Laundry-mat. It is, thanks to an ALWAYS attentive staff, always very clean and well attended, and very affordable. A far superior value than my apartment complex. AND THEN I MET KAT... . An attendant at The Laundry Basket, Kat is so genuinely friendly and pleasant in addition to being a superior saleswoman for her company. Kat offered to me the Laundry Basket service of dropping off my most Filthy clothes and it would be washed, dried, fluffed and folded for $1 per pound. I was so tired that I took her up on her offer. Best laundry decision I have made in my life! I picked up my clothes after I went to work and found clothes I barely recognized. Expertly folded (no wrinkles... it isn't possible!) and smelling wonderful! My point is that, while all of the staff are attentive, Kat is EXTRORDINARY. She loves what she does and it shows. For the first time in my life I'm not able to wash my laundry at home. I've always had washer/dryer hook-ups. So I have been using the laundromat. I've tried out 3 different ones, hoping to find one that I like. They have all have seemed unsafe (I like to do our laundry at night.), dirty, or half the machines are out of order. I am happy to say that my search ended today! I found the Laundry Basket Villager! There are security cameras everywhere, an attendant on duty 24 hrs, it was clean, and I didn't see one machine out of order! The attendant, Dirk, was busy cleaning every time I turned around so I hated to bother him with my questions. He didn't care to stop to help me one bit though. He was super polite and very helpful. Im a native of Phoenix Arizona (33yrs). Never have I been to a laundromat so well equipped and so fresh and so clean. Laundry Basket has it all! Wi-Fi , New Movie Releases for the Family, Phone Charger, Good Vending product,and all the Laundry Accessories you need just in case you forgot your cleaning products at home! The prices are very fair! I doubt any other laundromat can compare! If that wasnt enough , the staff is ALWAYS helpful and courteous! I know its hard to find good help but this Laundromat has Customer Service literally "in the bag!" If you happen to stop in,ask for "Dirk!" VERY DANGEROUS FOR LONE FEMALES!!!!!!!!! I WILL NEVER RETURN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TOO DANGEROUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! USE THIS LAUNDROMAT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had about 6 large washing machines worth of laundry in my car, but I decided after watching/listening to a vulgar/aggressive/threatening man curse/threaten/and say vulgar sexual obscenities to a woman who came out of the restroom (slower than he liked). They exchanged vulgarities and he then threatened her with physical violence both from him and his female companion. He was yelling those things at her loud enough for whole laundromat to hear. After he came out of restroom he started yelling (loud enough for whole laundromat to hear) repeatedly: "Where is she"; He carried on about finding the woman (who was at least a foot shorter than him) saying he wanted to physically assault her. read more

I was very pleased with this laundromat. It was very clean and well maintained. I love their full size washers and was very impressed with the new Electrolux washers they recently installed, I can finish 6 loads of laundry in half the time!! The staff is very attentive and helpful. The overnight attendant, Jan was so friendly and welcoming. He answered all of my questions about the new machines. I also witnessed him cleaning the washers out after each use with disinfectant which I think is the best!!! so many places keep their washers so dirty and full of hair! This was just one of the many nice details about this place. They also have free WiFi and stocked vending machines for the wait! Definitely will be returning . Great prices too! read more

let me start off by saying that I love the lady who works mornings here!!! We always chat when she is there she gives me something to occupy the time while im doing a heinous chore. i don't like the fact that her badge simply said attendant so the last few times I have had to ask her her name but it is such a unique and wonderful name! She works hard, mopping, cleaning peoples messes and overall keeping a clean and safe environment for me and all the customers. She always says it is her job but I believe she takes pride in what she does and that is rare these days. Came in here at like 10pm on a Wednesday night and the place was pretty packed so i know im not the only one that likes this place! The employee KATT is frickin AWESOME this laundromat would totally be lost without her. Total sweetheart. Shes Deffinately the reason im giving a complete 5 stars. She helped me with advice,quarters, and even helped me carry my HUGE jinormous bags of laundry into my car! Like seriously, the woman is awesome. Over the last 20 years I have used many different laundry facilities and without a doubt this was the best I have ever come across. The staff were friendly, professional and efficient. The bathrooms were unbelievabley clean, neat fashionable and most of all fresh. The whole facility was clean ,organized and it even had a childs play area to keep them busy and away from other patrons. The only suggestion I have is to have a local newspaper to kill time and to have change for larger bills so you dont walk around with a pocket full of quarters. If you live close and do your laundry elsewhere,give the laundry basket a try, you wont be disappointed. read more

I needed to do extra laundry so came here. First thing i did was put 20 in change machine. It did not give me all my money. I thought her we go trouble. To my pleasant surprise a attendant walked up and was,really pleasant. His name is Dirk. He took care of it while I started laundry. Also one washer I had was not working right. I had to find a laundromat because we are moving and our washer and dryer are now in storage and I was lucky to find this place. I read the great reviews and drove over here. I had the good fortune of meeting Dirk who was the attendant on duty at the time and I'm so very glad I did. He took the time to explain how everything works and was super friendly, and knowledgeable. Dirk impressed me so much that I had to shake his hand before I left just to say a special thanks. Lynda is awesome. My family and a friend of mine was there last week for a couple of hours. And when my fell in the bathroom Lynda was quick to help. She also helped my son (16 yrs. Old) hang and fold a few clothes while he talked about school and she was really listening and asking questions about what he was talking about. Very impressed with her. Very helpful. I will drive from Avondale everytime I need to wash blankets and do a grip of laundry. The 4/5 loader Machines are like brand new.... Talk about clean.... SUPER CLEAN. This Place is great!! They have the option to do your own or they can do your Laundry for you with special Directions you may need! And Even better knowing that an Awsome Woman Named Millie Works there, always has super clean spot.. She Worked at the Last Mat I use to go to.. I needed somewhere open 24hr because sometimes I just didn't make it in time to accomplish everything I needed.. I am new to the area and one day was searching for a place to do my laundry. I saw the laundry basket and decided to give it a try. The first impression I got from what I saw was very nice. It is clean, a lovely young lady named NaJean was there helping customers with any complaints or help they needed. She informed me that there is always someone on staff and anytime I came in I would be helped. The machines are spacious and the dryers I used work surprising well. Who would've thought you can get a Chick-Fil-A customer service from a freaking laundry mat? He was quick, available, answered all my questions and even convinced me to buy fabric softeners. When I first entered the laundry basket I was quite surprised how clean it was and how the machines worked and how courteous the staff were. One particular person was Carrie. She was very helpful and answered all my questions. I havent had to do my laundry in a commercial shop for years. I must say, this establishment changed my idea of what a laundry mat is like. I was expecting a hot, dirty, broken down machines type place, OMG it was clean, cool, all the machines worked and the attendant, Dirk, was a God send. Great place for wash and fold service......... my wife and I drop off our laundry for the wash and fold service as often as we can its an amazing price and the attendant najean always takes her time to make sure the job is done right. we can drop it off whenever we want and pick it up whenever we want. And we even get a courtesy call when the clothes are done. It is a clean environment and I don't ever see any "unwanted" individuals. Give it a try you will be very happy you did.
