Well me and mother just went to this place on Saturday I gotta say with honesty within my fluffy chest.. this place is soo good! The food here feels there's whole lot of care what they do, which is absolutely lovely. Love the building is about same look as the last business which is nice local and homey vibe! Gosh, I am so gonna be coming down here again for a good munching thanks a bunch ^w^ ~ Fosk

Pleasantly surprised! Stopped in here today while running some errands in the area and stopped in here for a quick bite. Inside classic diner vibe and very well kept and clean. It's a walk up type of joint with all the selections on the wall. The lady at the front counter was super nice and informative. After a few seconds we ordered our food. After a short wait our food came out pipping hot and everything you can tell was freshly made. The onion rings were homemade and nice and crispy. I ordered the southern comfort which was a burger topped off with pulled pork, cheese and coleslaw. 1 word Delicious! Well executed and very satisfying. The fries while not homemade were still nice and crispy. My wife and daughter really enjoyed their burger and spicy chicken sandwich. This was a great find and if and when we are back in the area we will for sure be back.

What a burger they grill up!! We have been here 2X and both times the burgers have been tasty, fries crispy, and the soft serve was a nice treat to wrap up the meal. Take a look at the photo? This burger is stacked and is the best burger that we've had since living in Idaho. Come enjoy a meal, you'll be thrilled you did!

The first time I came here I got a chocolate shake. The shake alone deserves this place 5 stars. Came back a day or two later with my husband to grab a burger and fries. We both got the basic cheese burger with fries. It's just a good burger! The meat tasted fresh and seasoned well. It's worth the drive out here if you don't live in Middleton.

The burgers we had were really great! The 208 and the Cali. Everything was well done - the bacon was perfect! People were very nice. We would recommend this place and surprised their ratings are not higher! Great local burger place with a lot of options.

It seems the reviews are very divided. I guess you either love it or don't? It does look like the majority of the bad reviews are from a few years ago and there was a change in either ownership or management. My husband and I are on team "Love It". We tried this place earlier today and we were pleasantly surprised. I got the 208 burger and he got the patty melt. Both delicious. My burger had the patty, bacon, fried pickle spears, fried onion strip (Haystack onion), cheese, fry sauce, BBQ sauce, and lettuce, tomato (I got mine without), and onion, the flavors worked nicely. The cheese and onions on the patty melt was melted and cooked nicely and made for a juicy melt. My dad got the Southern Comfort burger and he finished it all! Tator tots were on point perfectly crisp but not dry. They have a large menu and we can't wait to try the other menu items next time!

Pretty good. The previous establishment lost my business due to flavorless food and "meh" service. Now there is good service and good food. The menu is pretty big and pretty extensive. The chorizo sausage was great and the marshmallow dip for the sweet potato fries was over the top. Pretty good faire as far as I ate, and the milkshake was pretty decent too. They are doing pretty well for taking over an old burger dive.

The 2 chandeliers have so many cobwebs on them that i wondered if it was left over Halloween decorations. They also have mismatched bulbs. Additionally all the exposed air ductwork is also filthy. My mom turned 82 today and has compromised pulmonary issues and when i saw all this the first thing that ran through my mind is I hope she's not gonna inhale all that stuff and have a rough day tomorrow breathing. Again, admittedly, yes, I am being picky but when I take 12 people out to dinner and drop a couple hundred dollars doing such, I want the place to be sharp and on point. The service is and always has been. But the place is looking a little rough. A few guys, a few ladders and a few hours will make a lot of difference.

She came back quickly and made some great recommendations and took our order. We typically always try a cinnamon roll (if they have it) and pancakes- my son ordered the chicken fried steak, which he really enjoyed- and I ordered the Idaho omelet, which was huge, and delicious. The cinnamon roll alone was worth the visit- and the pancakes were good too. The place itself is super cute diner vibes, and is split into two areas for seating. Honestly, this felt like visiting a friend- tons of regulars and the server was amazing knowing orders, names and keeping up on life. She really was fantastic, and made the whole experience that much better. We will definitely be going back, trying other yummy items and telling others about it. The prices are great too, and everything was yummy.

The sign said to seat ourselves so we grabbed a booth. A young woman came over immediately and brought us menus and water. Inside is very homey and family friendly. There are booth along the sides and back of the restaurant and tables for four as well as bigger round tables that would seat 7-8. Next to us was a young family of five kids and the wife was pregnant. We then sat for longer than we should. Finally, our server, Julia B, came over. She was very friendly and nice. She took our order: my wife wanted the Salisbury steak and I had the Pacific Omelet with hashbrowns and pancakes. My first clue that things were not as they should be was when Julia asked my wife how she wanted her Salisbury steak cooked. Hmmm. The food took longer than it should to come out, but that was OK because we were in no hurry. When it did come out, my wife and I both looked at the "Salisbury Steak" and realized that, in fact, it was not what it was supposed to be. Instead, it was an actual steak. On the other hand, my omelet, with bacon crumbles and Swiss cheese, was good, my hashbrowns were extra crispy as I asked for, and the pancakes, which the cook forgot to make but that came out pretty quickly anyway, were pretty good. My wife ordered one of their giant cinnamon buns to go. We didn't see Julia for a time, and so my wife flagged down another server and asked if what she had was Salisbury steak. As expected the server said no. Julia came over shortly after. I said, "My wife ordered the Salisbury steak." Julia said, "Yes?". I said, "That's not Salisbury steak." She then realized her mistake and apologized repeatedly. What my wife received was the Iron Skillet Steak. Not sure about the misunderstanding. Julia offered to make the Salisbury steak to go, but my wife, being very nice and considerate, told her she'd be OK with the Iron Skillet Steak. Julia then comped the cinnamon bun, which I appreciated. She was trying to make things right. And again, she was very nice. We think we will give Mr. V's another chance at sometime in the future.

It was about 1:45 pm on a Friday, and the place was fairly crowded. We were sat at a small booth for two, not my favorite table, but understandable that they would want to save their tables and booths for four for larger parties. It's very loud, hard to talk, so in tha sense the small booth we were in, set apart from the main seating area, was better for my wife and I to talk. Our server was Yulia, and she was delightful. Very nice, efficient, and attentive. Great service! We both had the classic burger, mine with the sharp cheddar it comes with, my wife sans cheese. 100% Wagyu beef, and cooked very nicely at medium. The bun was large and soft, very tasty and great texture. The fries were delicious; crispy and well seasoned, just great. They have a fry sauce that tasted like it had a bit of horseradish. I really liked it. Prices are very reasonable. In fact, I just had a burger at a nice restaurant in downtown Boise last week that had a smaller patty and bun, and cost $3 more. We will definitely be back to Holy Cow.
