I'll start off by saying I miss the old "Jim's Burger Den" that use to operate at this location. It's been replaced with a burger joint that has consistently screwed up all four of our past orders and who's flavor just isn't good. I hate complaining and I try to give establishments multiple chances to change my mind if my first impression isn't good. This place just isn't. The burgers patties have been overcooked, the brisket has been dry, and my family hasn't enjoyed anything other then tator tots and onion rings ( they were out of rings tonight) .The straw that broke the camels back tonight was a hearing an old hag getting on the sweet girl working the drive through for giving us two extra fry sauces on a 35 dollar order! I'll drive to nampa or caldwell for a burger from now on. It will end up being faster even if you live in Middleton as lines at burger Q take forever and a day.. read more

Omg, so I am helping my daughter move into her new home in Middleton. I have eaten at all the top notch restaurants in Eagle and downtown. We wanted a quick bite so did drive through, and grabbed a burger.... It was so good, I mean better than a good burger. They had a sign that said Ribs. When we asked, we were told unfortunately they were out of ribs, but said tomorrow we're are going to have pork belly tacos, and pulled pork sandwiches. We were so impressed with the burgers the day before we went back for lunch at 11. I ordered the tacos, my daughter ordered the pulled pork. Before tasting my tacos, I had a bite of her sandwich. It was wonderful. I then said I wish I would have got the sandwich, UNTILL I TASTED THE TACOS! OMG! They were incredible... pork belly with a watermelon pomegranate salsa, and cream sauce! You guess it...we are going back for dinner ! This place is a gem! I am glad she moved to Middleton! read more

After seeing the mixed reviews I was a little apprehensive, but honestly I was so pleasantly surprised how good the Cali burger is! My family enjoyed their burgers as well, my daughter even said this was her new favorite burger joint! read more

Now it's named the Burger Q. Food is pretty good. Burgers could use some seasoning. Worst part was the paper straws. They immediately started to disintegrate, making the drink taste bad and my lips were sticking to the straw. read more

I haven't made it to Burger Q but a few times. It's not that I didn't enjoy the food that I ordered. Both times that I recall was good . Friendly people will take a burger a long ways. Maybe in the very near future I'll do another one of these with my third time around. read more

Got the 208 burger and it was fantastic. Fried pickle spears were a nice touch. This will definitely be a regular stop when in the area.

Name is 208 Burger-Que on their big sign, Had a very delicious 208 Special burger and a smoked brisket sandwich and small fries. Best burger-joint food we have had in a long time. Food was hot and tasty and the fries were hot and crisp. Hamburger meat tasted like real meat. Brisket had a nice smokey flavor. We had a short wait time, but we came after the lunch rush. Order-to-food time was probably aprox. 8-9 minutes. Worth the wait and the food did not seem like "pre-made". Glad we tried it. No need to travel all the way to Caldwell's Burger Connection for a good burger. Will be back often. read more

Our friends invited us to go with them for a Prime rib dinner at a restaurant that we thought only had hamburgers! Boy were we in for a real surprise. Everything was fantastic! Owners and staff were wonderful, attentive, and really made us feel welcome. Everyone seemed so happy! But the best was yet to come. Wonderful appetizer, then came the salad, which was great , followed by the smoked Prime rib, baked potato, and fresh green beans. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. To top the night off was an ice cream pie dessert. Yummy, and very low calories I am sure!! First time in a long time that we have enjoyed every aspect of our meal, and not felt like the staff didn't want to be bothered with us! We will be back! read more

I love this place!!!! Quality from the burgers to the fries. Jim's gets it right! I don't get to Idaho much but when I do I set aside time for a stop here. I was introduced to this spot almost two decades ago, and it's still outstanding! Its nice to see consistency in an inconsistent world. I was greeted promptly by a nice young man who took my order and had my food out to me in an acceptable amount of time. My husband ran through 208 Burger-Q and ordered one of their signature burgers. He was very unimpressed. I put off updating my review because I felt like it wouldn't be fair since I wasn't there to give them a second shot. However, I swung through the other day for a snack and ordered a side of onion rings and a large drink with a side of BBQ sauce. I was a bit shocked at my total of more than $11 but, when I got my order, I saw that they gave me a huge container of onion rings (way more than I thought I was ordering). When the gal handed it to me, she said the BBQ sauce was in the container. When I got home there was some sort of fry-sauce type dip, but nothing I would consider even close to BBQ sauce. I like fry sauce, but it just wasn't what I ordered. Unfortunately, the onion rings were a bit on the greasy side and had ZERO seasoning/salt or really flavor of any kind. I had a few and ended up tossing the rest of the order. I don't think I'll be back for much more than maybe a soft drink which is a shame because drive thru options are quite limited in Middleton. read more

I had to wait several minutes before my order was taken. Ordered grilled cheese with pickles on sourdough. The bread was soggy not toasted and cheese not completely melted. Not certain a crew of five employees are necessary for a Wednesday evening at about 7:30 pm??? The young girl taking drive thru orders makes for a pretty statue but lazy co-worker when she could assist co-workers between orders or attend to other duties as there is always something to do in a restaurant. Especially cleaning. However, that's management fault not hers for lack of adequate training. The restaurant business is tough to succeed. 50% fail within the first two years. Keeping labor costs down without sacrificing customer service is a constant challenge. The single most important advice I can offer the new owner is train staff to take customers orders without delay so food preparation can begin immediately!!! Time is of the essence!!! For example, and this may sound redundant but cannot be overemphasized. When there is a line of customers waiting to order, the ABSOLUTE PRIORITY should be take all the orders and get them to the cook so preparation can begin immediately!!! Train staff to say, "You're welcome" or "My pleasure" not "But of course" or "no problem". Adopt similar greeting as Dutch Brothers. For example, "Hi, how's your day going." Seriously the WORST Place to eat in Middleton Idaho. This was our 3rd visit. 7/30 for $18.39. Visit was nothing special. Tried again on 8/7...again nothing special... Had family visiting on 8/12, tried them one last time. Total was $36.18. Called store and spoke with Emma who passed our complaint to Stacy Williams... who we never heard back from, had to call back again, spoke with Stacy who said she tried calling but never had a voicemail from her... All she said she could offer was a $25 gift card even though our order was for $36.18. Asked for owners availability so we could speak with them.. she said she couldn't provide that information. We looked up the owner and low and behold it was her!!! What a poor excuse from an owner/operator..... Called back and spoke with Stacey, she couldn't offer anything else other than the $25 credit. This was my first time going to Burger Q today. I ordered the Taco Special, 2 tacos for $1, and they were bomb! Just like my mom's, ingredients cooked in the corn tortilla, the best way to do it. I'm not sure what is going on here. I drove by this place many times before and this time decided to try it. It was super cheap and service was good. Combo, burger and fries and drink was around $6. Food came 25 minutes after i ordered it. I could not finish either fries or burger. Burger was one of the worst burgers I ever ate. It's crazy that it took so much time to make something so bad. McDonalds 99 cent cheeseburger would blow this away, not even close. Fries was below average. I have been going to the Burger Den for about 3 years. It has recently changed owners. Stacey is the new owner. Stacey has continually been making improvements to the restaurant. She continually strives to improve the quality of the food served. You will find her restaurant clean and inviting. The staff is always friendly, and makes you feel welcome. The food is always cooked to order, and is always great. They will go out of their way to give you what you want. Stacey is always at the restaurant, and always takes time to talk to her customers, and make them feel at home. If you want great food, great service, and an extremely clean place to eat, "The Burger Den" is the place to go. read more

Always friendly service to go along with tasty food. Juicy burgers are prepared to your specifications and served within a few minutes. Yes, it does take longer than McDonald's, but I get what I want and the taste is far better. Ive been going to the Burger Den for many years. I knew the family who owned all of them. They went way out of there way to make a good Burger and Breakfast place. Since this place was taken over/bought, ive gave it about 3 times of going and to be honest, i will not be returning. The food is not that great. The driveup wait time is terrable. (I will say i appreciate the people showing up to work during these wierd times). But to be honest i can not say anything good about this place other then that. My review is based primarily on prices. My budget's pretty tight & I'm critical of prices but I don't know what their overhead is either. However the vehicle at front of line in drive- through was apparently a larger order so a worker came outside & got pmt & brought the truck in front of me their order & then did the same for me, so that helped with the wait. That counts for something! It was sunny & hot on Friday & I'd had to be outside in the afternoon for work. I needed something cold and wet before the 20+ minute drive home. A small (8 or 12 oz max) rootbeer spin is $2.50ish if I remember correctly. I didn't know what their small was so I tried it. That's too much but I seriously felt I could almost pass out by then. The best price I saw on the menu (IMO) was $4 biscuits & gravy. I probably should have just bought a regular cone for $1. The little bit of rootbeer cost me $1.50 more and I didn't get as much ice cream. ;-) read more

My advice is do not eat here until the menu changes to 10 items or less. Gave this place 3 shots and today I was able to enjoy a handful of warm fries while I proceeded to throw away my entire "brisket sandwich". The last two times I managed to eat half of a hamburger due to hunger but probably one of the worst burgers ever. You are better off making slop at home or driving 15 to any fast food establishment if your money holds value and your tastebuds work. Each time I think hmm this wait is an indication that things are made to order and done with care but no it just takes time to make slop here. My advice is find 10 items (6 burgers and some kids stuff) and find a way to stay true to your name. Don't put burger in your name when slop is the byproduct even if there is plenty of slop to pick from. If I was independently wealthy I would order one of everything on the menu because I am curious if anything is good but I can't afford that risk. read more
