Drink orders were taken then we ordered our food. I ordered the kids pancake and bacon then was going to get two pancakes and a side of homefries, but our kind waitress Amber helped save me some money and ordered a stack of pancakes with bacon and side of homefries with an extra plate. We recently visited and ordered our lunches directly from the "Today's Specials" board, only to be charged $1 more for each item when the bill arrived. When we pointed it out, our waitress simply said, "Prices are subject to change." Shortly afterward, the board was taken down and the prices were changed to reflect the increase. The extra $2 isn't the issue--it's the principle. If a restaurant advertises a price, that price should be honored. The way it was handled felt dismissive and very customer-unfriendly. Unfortunately, we won't be returning. Apparently, prices weren't the only thing subject to change--the tip was too. read more

We were told about the burgers here, so we had to check it out. Kimberly brought them out to us and we were pleasantly surprised. Thick and juicy like a burger should be. With great tasting fries and really delicious sweet tea. The atmosphere was very welcoming, friendly and festive. The desert bar was tempting but we were traveling so we passed on dessert. So we drove quite far out of our way because we've always wanted to try this place. The reviews look very promising. Upon entering we Noticed it was really dark inside. The seats were really uncomfortable. We ordered and my burger was the WORST food of I've ever had in my like. It tasted old, was way over cooked and dry. It was so bad I spit it out. The fries you can tell are cheap and frozen. They were SOAKED in oil then flash fried. The waitress told me she's not sure what happened bc she loves their burger and I should come back when they're not busy so they can cook it better. My husband asked if they have Heinz ketchup. she said they have something different but it's whatever is laying around. My husband had a tiny bowl of greens ($4) and a gyro. This place is awesome. The inside is so nicely decorated and clean. Our waitress was Amber she was so helpful and friendly. We both really enjoyed our meals. I got the Greek omelette with hash browns and my husband got the country fried steak with home fries & toast. The menu had a large variety to choose from including lunch & dinner options. Fridays is prime rib I will be coming back for that for sure. It smells great inside and other customers food looked really good too as it went by. Today is Father's Day I ordered my husband myself and my son breakfast $63 total, we order the #4 corn beef hash and did even receive it. Ordered sausage didn't get it frozen strawberries for my son's pancakes. Food was cold. No syrup nothing, so we decided to drive to the restaurant and speak with the manager upon arriving my husband was told to "shhhush" and that he was being irate for asking for his food to be made properly and he expressed that we were recommended to go there by another dinner here in town and we were told "well we're not johjohs dinner". Great diner spot. Only been for breakfast but if dinner is as good, we will be trying in the future. Service was very good and consistent, been there several times. Very attentive and helpful. Food comes fast and hot so kitchen staff has gotta be solid! If there is any discrepancies, they fix immediately. The inside is a lil Cracker Barrel style, but not gimmicky at all, just right. Probably the best or next-to-the-best omelette I've ever had! Instant service - instant drinks and order in - food came really fast - really hot - I had a Western Omelette- veggies seasoned and grilled but not over grilled - nice chunks of grilled ham - Grits and a great biscuit - my wife had (really good) Corned Beef Hash Grits and a biscuit! Your greeted with smiles an hellos an seated right away. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. We went for breakfast an it was very good and came out fast. The customer service was spot on perfect as well. The food came out fast l. I had eggs with cheese an a side of grits an it was very good. My husband had an omelette with potato's an it was also very good. We're excited to go back and try lunch and dinner. First two times when this place first opened we visited this establishment the food was extremely good and the service was very quick and professional. Third time I ended up sick all day and night from the food and had to go to the doctors. I had nothing else to eat except their food. I did not go back for months. I had a Greek Omelet, and it was OK, lower on cheese than usual, I have had much better. Service was not bad but also not good. Plenty of staff there for the size of the restaurant but were slow to wait on me, even took orders for people who came in after me. I had to ask for more coffee. We recently moved to this area and wanted to try it out. I wasn't really impressed. The food was decent. I had a western omelette and the peppers and onions seemed like they weren't cooked very long. The service was decent. Our meal was 34.71 so I handed her a 50 and she gave me back 15 dollars so she shorted me .29 cents which isn't a huge deal so I didn't say anything.
