When I want fried shrimp today, Musselwhites is my goto place. Just as Osteens, the shrimp are two biters fried with a similar breading. As with Osteens, the dinners come with two sides and there is a large selections of fresh country sides to choose from. The hushpuppies are just as good as Osteens. They also serve a Menorcan seafood chowder here just as good or even better than the Osteens version and there is a fresh bottle of Dattle Sauce on the table to spice this red chowder up another notch or two if you are so inclined. We live in Green Cove, and it is about a 30 min drive to Musselwhites (one traffic light until you get to Palatka).
