I came with a friend, and during our visit two small letter pieces from her project went missing. When staff informed her there would be a charge, she immediately agreed to pay for them without any argument. We had spent over $300 that day and were simply trying to resolve the situation. I thought one of the missing letters might have accidentally been thrown away in a napkin, so I asked an employee if she had a glove that I could use to check the trash can myself. Before she could help, the owner's son interrupted, told her to stop helping me and go assist a birthday party. When I explained that I was only asking for a glove so I could look through the trash myself, he continued arguing with me instead of helping resolve the situation. I brought my concerns to the manager, but she told me there was nothing she could do because he was the owner's son. What upset me most was that she then called my friend a liar and accused her of trying to steal the missing letters, even though my friend had already agreed to pay for them. I found that accusation completely unfair and unprofessional. The conversation became heated, and I admit I became frustrated. However, I was shocked when we were told not to come back which is fine to me because I was not planning to ever come back to this place due the customer service. Being treated dismissively, having my friend accused of dishonesty, and being told never to return after spending hundreds of dollars left a very negative impression. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this location.

They are an asset to the Dublin Michaels. They help me pick out the correct complimentary colors for the Art. They make people happy. I found some nice party / entertaining decorations - different sized disco balls and sequined tablecloths that you could honestly also use as a backdrop for a photo booth or display. The employee at the register was kind and helped me create my Michael's account at what I consider the new self-checkout stands (it's been that long since I've been to a Michael's) - I felt like the screens were nice and big so it was easy to view and process. Sounds like a small thing, but for our family, it's a big deal. Second, we've gotten several things framed here, both custom and not. We were here this week to pick up some standard size frames, and we never fail to find attractive options. The frames have been moved to make way for the new Joann Fabric section, but that's fine. Third, they transitioned to a system where everyone does self-checkout, but if you have Michaels rewards or coupons, or both, there is always someone there to help you navigate.
