On an extended road trip and picked this place over the Stanford pub which seems to be across the street. Had a bacon cheeseburger with some Mac and cheese bites. My buddy had the chicken tacos and were good with them. I felt the Mac and cheese bites were decent as were the fries. The burger was certainly the star of the show. read more

An FYI to anyone thinking about sitting outside, because that is shown as an option on the website--they put a table and chairs out on the sidewalk for you, next to a very bust intersection. Not sure how you can give this place 5 stars. With the 100+ items on the menu there has to be a few perfect ones on any given day, just kind of fatigued from trying. The scope of stuff or clutter is equally as consuming once you do put down the menu and start the wait for my food. Not going to pound down on staffing or quality or expecting more. I don't get the hype around this place. When I went in, there were three teenage kids pacing around nonstop, just circling tables and staring. Felt more like being babysat than eating at a restaurant. I hadn't even taken a bite of my food when someone swoops in asking if everything "tastes all right." How the hell would I know if I haven't even eaten yet? Then they kept coming back literally every 30 seconds asking if I was okay. It was annoying, not attentive. And don't get me started on the "bottomless steak fries." I asked for a refill and they brought out about six fries. Six. That's not a refill, that's a sample. Being told I could "always ask for more" just made it worse. Overall--awkward, overbearing service and a sketchy "bottomless" fries gimmick. Not worth it. read more

This restaurant is highly recommended for having some of the best hospitality and for dog friendly atmosphere in Cheyenne Wyoming. Unfortunately, I found this to not be the case. They did not offer any water for my 16 week old? Great pyongye's puppy,, and I was told that I would have to prepay for all of my food. I asked why and I was told that the restaurant is more like a fast food joint and customers pay in advance. Unfortunately, this was not the case for the other guest and I understood quickly that I was being treated differently because I had a dog as they have separate policies. Wow! I can't say enough good things about 2 Doors Down! To be honest, I wasn't expecting much in our stop over in Cheyenne, but boy was I proven wrong! First things first, the customer service is amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food: we ordered a mushroom Swiss burger, fries, nachos, and a brownie Sunday. Now for the shock- all on it was gluten free! The fryer is even dedicated gluten free, according to the woman who helped us. The burger was delicious, and so were the nachos. They also easily modified for allergies. The brownie sunday was great, and since it was take out, they put the brownie and ice cream in separate containers so nothing got soggy. During our trip, we passed through Cheyenne and found this on the map, but in hindsight, that was a huge mistake. I ordered the salmon burger, but the salmon didn't taste good. My friend ordered the steak sandwich, which was so tough it was nearly impossible to eat. What upset me even more was that it was our first time traveling here, and we didn't know that water was integrated into the drink machine. My friend and I mistakenly thought the insulated container held hot water, but it turned out to be tea. Just after we poured ourselves some and returned to our table, a tall female server immediately came over to tell us that it was tea, not water--but if we poured it out, there would be no charge. We apologized many times and immediately went back to pour out the tea. But then a shorter female server, maybe the manager, brought us the check and insisted that we still had to pay for the drinks--even if we had poured them out. At that point, she even accused us of stealing the tea. Isn't that word a bit too much? I was feeling apologetic at the time, so I didn't argue and paid for the drinks since they were only $2.5 per person, which is cheap. But now that I'm back at the hotel and thinking it over, I feel very upset about the way she spoke to us. We apologized multiple times and immediately poured the tea out--so why accuse us of stealing? And honestly, the tea didn't even taste good--it was so watered down that we genuinely thought it was just hot water. Looking back, it felt like the shorter server might have been a bit racist. She treated us rudely and spoke to us harshly. So if you're from a minority background, all I can say is, hopefully, you won't encounter her. On the other hand, the tall server was very kind and respectful. She even came over a few more times to check on us. In the end, this restaurant left us with a bad experience--both in terms of food and treatment. read more

WOW!!! What a great place. Perfect capitol location, atmosphere was very casual, the value for the entrees was affordable, and the seating area was large enough for the entire group. The Laramie and Cheyenne Home School students had just completed a huge assignment - presented an entire mock trail. Players for the defense, prosecution, witnesses, judge, and jury were a part of the trial. After a long morning at the courthouse, the students, families, and Home School staff met at 2 Doors Down. The management had reserved the entire top floor for the lunch event and it was a complete hit !!! The entire process from ordering as we arrived, getting seated upstairs, and the wait staff bringing the food to the upstairs area, was nothing short of a fabulous effort!!! The food was scrumptious and generous and it was amazing how quickly everyone was served. There were smiles all the way around as the students, families, and staff, had just completed a huge assignment - a mock trial!!! A celebration at 2 Doors Down was the perfect venue for a large group to simply relax, enjoy the food, and put a final touch on a perfect demonstration of what the students had just learned about the legal process!!! After spending the day at the Rodeo in Cheyenne, Wyoming during one of the Cheyenne Frontier Days, we went to the downtown area and we're in the mood for a nice burger. We found this restaurant and decided to try it and we were glad we did. Freshly made burgers, bottomless fries, great atmosphere, and very friendly staff, a great combination for a good satisfying meal. This is a very casual place where you order food at the counter then sit to eat. The owners have an Italian restaurant two doors down, hence the name, and both restaurants seem to be loved by locals and repeat customers who are visiting the area. My family and I had to go to Cheyenne the other night and dinner at 2 Doors Down. We were immediately greeted when we walked in the door and were told how their system works: order and pay at the counter, then find a seat and everything is full service after that. I found this extremely helpful as it was our first visit and it took all of the guesswork out. My husband ordered while I took our son to the bathroom for a diaper change. We'd driven up from Denver so he was sorely in need. The most disappointing part of our visit to 2 Doors Down was that they didn't have a changing table in the women's bathroom, so I ended up changing him on my coat on the floor in a stall (at the time of this review it's December, so WAY to cold to change him in the back of the truck). If you don't have kids or they aren't in diapers, this won't be an issue for you, but if you do, you might want to consider making other arrangements. At least the bathroom was clean. I had an avocado bacon Swiss burger on a pretzel bun, which was a total treat since most places don't have pretzel buns. It was dense and tasted a lot like a pretzel too. They also have bottomless fries- how can you go wrong with that?!? And, coolest of all, we were alive to get a GLASS pitcher of beer- total throwback! We really enjoyed the bright decor- Coca Cola Christmas at the moment- and will definitely go back next time we're in Cheyenne! read more

Passing through town for the night and found this place while researching on Yelp. What an adorable place! We went on a Thursday around 8 pm so found street parking with No problem. You order at the counter and pick your own place to sit. We all ordered burgers and they were amazing! Even my super picky daughter finished hers! They serve beer as well as soft drinks. The area seems extremely safe even at night. We even walked a few blocks to the big boots for a photo. Oh. Forgot to mention the employees were all very nice and friendly. Great service!
