This is becoming one of our favorite places for a quick meal in Conover. Great selections of food and drinks. They offer specials every day and they are delicious. The plate meals they offer are good as well. Only reason no 5 star is due to some service issues at times. read more

This restaurant is located in the Charlotte Douglas Airport in Charlotte North Carolina. We popped in for a quick bite before catching our flight. The restaurant was fairly crowded, but we were able to find a table in the back area. This restaurant has a second section with a deli that you can grab a quick bite as well. Service was quick, wine selection was better than I thought it would be. Price was medium to what I expected in the airport. read more

Good salads, Good drinks, Good chips. Awful sandwiches. Mine and other party sandwiches that were ordered were nothing but bread and veggies. No meat to speak of on my French dip. Maybe 2 oz that is a stretch. For the price not worth it. read more

Tried the 1877 pub and grub for the first time today with my husband and daughter. Our daughter ordered the old fashioned burger with mustard ketchup and pickles on it and put little picky eater are half of it which for her is fantastic. My husband got another one of their burgers with fries and loved it. The carolina Cuban is AMAZING and pub chips are great. I ordered a Washington apple martini and it was strong and all which I loved. We will definitely go back and bring put of town family. Service was delightful. Visited this local pub for the first time tonight for a family dinner. Enjoyed their spinach artichoke dip. My wife had their Carne Asada tacos which were delicious and perfectly seasoned. I enjoyed their version of a Philly cheesesteak called the Steak Bomb. The service was wonderful. The only hesitation is political and that is it is posted "Concealed Carry Prohibited" - not a very popular stance in this neck of the woods. I hope they'll reverse that or they'll lose business because of it, including mine. read more

I had never been here until today, and I had been wanting to try Pub & Grub for months. Went with my friend as a birthday lunch- and boy, was it a birthday lunch indeed! As soon as we walked in, we were, kindly, told that we could seat ourselves. The very busy waitress was very kind, reminding us that she would be with us shortly and did not forget us, they just had a complicated order going on. Way to handle the situation with both hospitality AND professionalism! We got our food in about 10 minutes, and it was INCREDIBLE. I had the Steak Bomb Sandwich with fries, which did not disappoint. This is one of my bad reviews. I honestly from the bottom of my heart used to adore this place. I remember when the chef would create things out of the ordinary if we ever asked now that we ask it's like an issue. The service can be better love the bar and the upstairs theme. Wish you can have a more diverse menu. Love the idea of the 2$ Tacos just need a little bit more flavor. Great atmosphere but horrible food quality. read more

Seriously bummed. Our friends told us about this place and the reviews are fabulous; so I expected to love this place. It is really cute inside and the food choices looked good. The staff was mildly nice but nothing over the top. The food however, was all-over cooked. The highly rated steak bomb had no flavor. I was surprised because even if the meat was under seasoned, I would have expected the grilled onions and mushrooms to provide flavor but the whole thing was dry and bland. Also, the bread was stale and really burned. The wings were fully cooked but ice cold. The burgers were over cooked and lacked flavor. We ate there tonight and the food was just barely eatable. I had the smothered chicken. When I cut into it, it smelled like something was spoiled. I think it was the cooked onions on it that were way over cooked. My husband ordered the chicken fingers and said they were tough. The coleslaw was runny and not good. He didn't eat it. The couple we were with were not impressed either. The menu is limited on sides with not much of a choice to choose from. We won't be going back there again. read more

Cute little pub hidden right on main street! We ate there on a Friday night before Christmas and the place was packed. The staff was very quick and friendly and the food melted in our mouths. The only negative was the size portion (although they are probably correct on how much a meal portion should be). read more

First visit tonight all the way from Cherryville. I got the chicken tenders with fries and the drunken pintos. The tenders were great. I got the sweet heat dipping sauce and ranch. The beans were good, but heavy on the pepper. The fries weren't as good as fast food fries. I expected better. Fiancé got smothered chicken with Mac n cheese and potato salad. He liked the tenders better than his chicken. Mac was good. Potato salad was ok. Potatoes had that store bought almost frozen texture. Sweet tea was good the first cup. Second I think I got unsweetened... anyways, on the the service. Place wasn't busy at all. Like 3-4 tables. The server walked past my empty glass 4-6 times. Finally got a refill. She cleared our table, still waiting for check. Typically the check is brought when customer is almost done eating. Table cleared. Waited. Waited. Waited. She had to walk by and mess with the little computer 15 times. I'd say oh she's prob getting it now. Fiancé went to bathroom. Went outside. Waited. Waited.... finally I just went to the bar to see if someone else could get my check and she finally goes oh do you want your check? Nah... I don't. UM YES. 20 minutes ago. I am in the customer service business myself so I truly hate when I get bad service. Step up your game PLEASE. Had the service been great, would've made effort to come back cause the tenders were great. Unfortunately that was our first and last visit. read more
