Great service, wings, and sauces at the Olde Tavern! I came for a late lunch/early dinner with some friends. We shared the fried pickles as an appetizer and they were delicious with and without ranch. I got my chicken wings fried and my favorite sauces were the Golden BBQ and Thai Chili. The cheese curds have changed, but not for the better. They taste as if this restaurant has moved away from actual fried cheese curds and moved toward just frying cheese similar to a small mozzarella stick. The inside is very melty now and a more oily. They have also moved away from dusting with Parmesan which was a really nice touch to the flavor profile. The wings are still good here. There were a little dry, possibly overcooked. The staff were great and very friendly. The ambiance is still relaxed while being a little elevated. read more

Great food and service. They have a large menu with a ton of variety. The only thing I've ever ordered here that I didn't like was the grilled romaine salad (just tasted like smoke). They always have a lot of daily specials too. The last time I went I had the Thai chicken over rice which was more like an Indian curry but it was fantastic. read more

I have been here several times and the food is consistently good. Tonight, we were seated quickly and our order was taken by Brooke. The food came out hot and everything was delicious. Our group of 20 was given the side room and a huge long table. And an open memo. The service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere comfortable. And after a request to the waitstaff to compliment the cook, he came out to thank us personally. I went big and had the Angus RibEye as did a couple friends. Various sides were had. The steak was a bit fatty but that's where the flavor comes from .. along with some wonderful subtle seasonings that didn't get in the way of the natural flavor. all others seemed pleased with their meals as well. Oh and some Chares pulled pork nachos were very nice! Friend and I shared a bottle of California Cab. Went with the steak nicely .. it had enough acid and tannins that preferred being with rich food. This place was awful. Ordered french onion soup and the salmon special over caesar salad. No croutons cuz i am Gluten sensitive. Soup came out and tasted like beef bouillon cubes in a cup of hot water. Salt city. Sent it back. Salmon arrived and the salad had croutons on it. I sent it back. First and last time here. Waitress took forever to greet us, we waited 45min for our meals and mine was completely wrong (I ordered blackened pasta) I received teriyaki pasta which was GROSS! She said "hey y'all I removed everything from ur ticket that didn't come out" we were like really..duh. She should have comped the four draft beers and two cocktails and said sorry. Last time we had a server named Teagan who went above and beyond for us. This past visit we were asked to leave a review and this was beyond the worst customer service I've ever received. Bartenders fighting with wait staff in front of everyone. Food was cold and unappetizing. Will not return. Teagan was the only reason we returned and she is no longer there. Don't waste your money. Management was under some influence when I asked to speak with him and he was unable to hold a professional conversation. The bartender (I believe her name was Sarah) tried to help the situation and she was obviously on something as well. I do not expect great food at a bar, but the food is great. They make great smoked ribs and their specials usually include a fish. The staff is friendly and accommodating - for instance after I was served a salad, I wanted bacon and the bartender brought a ramekin of bacon right out. The service staff is friendly and helpful, we had a work Happy Hour in the dining room,(20 people) the waitress was great. She suggested apps for sharing and did separate checks with pleasure. We usually sit at the bar because of watching sports and the bartender remembers what I drink. They do have tables outside.
