This place used to be good, but now it is not. I kept giving them chances but last night drew the line. Last year, I got food poisoning there from hamburger meat that tasted nasty. I told the server at that time, they said and did nothing about it at all. I called them the next day as I felt like I was going to die from it, they cared less about it on the phone to me at all and refused my money back to me. I called the health dept on them. The next time I asked for a salad with a hot cooked chicken breast on it with not one being cooked already the day before that was in the refrigerator as a cold chicken on my salad as before, so the salad comes and the chicken breast is raw inside when it comes to me on my salad with not being cut yet. So 2 weeks ago we went there for wing night, turns out we are served raw chicken wings which was on March 16th 2016 with NOT wanting salmonella poisoning for my birthday. So they brought us new ones that were so over cooked it was not funny all dried out. Last night we go there to take relatives that come 2200 miles in visiting us, and first off we get served our salads by a lady that has long hair NOT tied up at all swing it over her arm with our salads in her hands. I talked to a server there and she says that she is a hostess and is not serving food, we said, "Oh yes she is, she brought our salads to us. As well as that same hostess was wrapping silverware with long hair and carrying them against her hair on body to the front door area. Then the food server comes brings us our food, the wings which we are talking 50 on each plate, the one plate was stone cold as like came out of the refrigerator. we said something right then and there for he and our server were still at our table and they said no they were just cooked. We are like oh ok. As we were eating them, we are like this is so disgusting sick it is not even funny. When the server initially brought the wings to our table he dropped a cup of ranch all over the front of his pants and it was spattered all over the floor. He left it all there so when my husband came back to sit down in his seat, "he is like what happened here, it looks like somebody jizzed all over the place". We all could not help but to laugh, it took them 15 minutes to wipe it off the floor as they kept walking by it ignoring it. We had to ask for our refills as nobody came and asked if we needed any nor do they serve you plates to eat the wings, you have to get up go to the bar and get them yourself. Just as they did not give us wipes nor napkins for our hands either as they usually do, we had to ask for napkins ourselves. We asked for a manager at the end with getting to more stone colder wings on the plate and he comes over and takes remaining wings off our bill that we did not eat but does not count them in front of you. Still a $72.00 food bill with crappy service. That was our last visit there as we chose because they are getting worst and crappier as time goes by. The place is so old it looks like a dive, and their seating is made for stick people with having no room at their tables for normal people to fit, it is a under 190 pounds seating at this place to fit at their tables. The outside of the building is even worst, it does not even have a roof over hang on their building with being so ugly and when it rains plan on standing in it as soon as you get out the door being they cant afford to fix this run down ol' nasty place that they supposedly remodeled before. Needs tearing down and rebuilt with making it modernized, right now it is a dive. Look at the walls when you get in there and see what they are made of, as said its a dive is all there is to say with charging such high extreme prices for everything including spoiled old meat, raw chicken meat, and raw chicken wings or overcooked to death wings. They say that they pre-smoke their wings when in fact they do NOT. Good luck going here at this place, hope you dont get sick with food poisoning. I am calling health department again on this place. read more

Great place to grab food or have a beer. The building is sorta old but the service, food, and prices are great which makes up for the old building. Also, they have booths or big wooden barrel's to sit in which is something you won't see anywhere else in Hickory. Overall great place to eat. A+ read more
