I previously had two v1 12v Elite 460Ah batteries for my RV and they performed flawlessly, although they had these nuisance high voltage alarms that you had to work around. And the app didn't work properly with two batteries in series. But their customer support was honest about it and helped me configure my charging settings and advised on the best Victron components to use. And these new batteries are even better now that they have over-the-air firmware updates, which is huge for the onboard BMS, Victron comms, and mobile app. I love these batteries! I purchased 3 Samsung 18650 batteries. What I got was 3 batteries that kinda looked like what I ordered but not exactly. They didn't have the Samsung logo on them along w a few other things. I charged them out one in my flashlight and it wouldn't come on, so I put another in and it lasted about a minute. So I put all 3 on a charger and tested them. 2 of the 3 were no good, they had around 17 mah and the 3rd one had better mah but no amp. I contacted the battery store and explained my situation and included pictures of my charger/tester showing the results and also asked why there was no Samsung logo. It's actually kind of laughable but they told me the government put restrictions on battery makers from putting their name and logo on the battery. Yeah. Show me a name brand battery that doesn't have the makers name on it. So I looked it up and infact it was just the opposite, the government madates that makers put their name on their batteries. I took a screenshot and emailed it back also mentioning again that 2 of the 3 were bad. Their reply was that I could ship them back (at my expense) and get a refund as long as I haven't charged the batteries. They basically told me f you you get what you get.
