We ordered a celery juice and another juice made with beets, carrots, lemon, and ginger. Both were really good--super fresh, clean tasting, and you can tell they're using quality ingredients. The beet/carrot blend in particular had a nice balance and just enough kick from the ginger. The only real downside is the price. Paying close to $25 for two juices feels pretty steep, even for fresh-pressed. It kind of takes away from what would otherwise be a really easy go-to spot. That said, the quality is definitely there. They have a good app that makes it easy to place to-go orders. One time I decided to by pass the app and eat at the actual cafe. Well, that was my intention, but the lady taking my order was so unnecessarily rude and short with me, that I didn't want to stay there. I've encountered a number of employees here while picking up. They've all been really nice and pleasant, but in this one occasion, I dealt with an older woman who from the get go, was oddly mean with zero provocation. I wanted to order a monthly special. I called it the "monthly special bowl" because that's exactly what the sign by the register said. She got exasperated with me because I didn't call it what ever description was listed under the heading and rolled her eyes and refused to make eye contact. I decided to get the bowl to-go because it was very clear this person was irrationally upset at something. It just felt like it wasn't a good idea to stay. It was a downright bizarre reaction and it felt very unwelcoming. She was the only person working so she went in the back to make the bowl. When the bowl was ready she passed off the bag to me- once again, not making eye-contact and asking exasperated that she had to deal with a customer. I'm very passive and would never call someone out or try to match that kind of energy. I would recommend this lady not deal in a customer facing role. All other encounters with other employees here are great, so this was the only experience I would say detracts from Vitality bowls. I've been happy and satisfied with the bowls and smoothies I've ordered here and I wouldn't let that one experience keep me away from VB, I would just hope that lady gets an attitude adjustment before she drives customers away.

I stumbled upon 151 Coffee in Plano, Texas, during a quick Google search for nearby coffee shops, and I'm so glad I decided to give it a try! This place has such an interesting concept, and you can tell it's a local favorite just by the number of cars lined up. The seating area is more of an outdoor patio vibe, which adds a fun and casual feel to the experience. The menu is impressive, offering a huge variety of coffees, teas, and specialty drinks. I ordered a hot white chocolate macadamia coffee with a sweet shot on top, and let me tell you--it was absolutely fantastic! Easily one of the best coffees I've had in a long time, and I consider myself a bit of a coffee connoisseur. I already know I'll be stopping by again after work before heading to the airport today. 151 Coffee is the undisputed champion when it comes to coffee and drinks. Suck on that, Starbucks! They hire the coolest people, and the drinks are always the best. I'm not really a coffee drinker, but this place changed my point of view. I ordered an Ocean Water Italian soda this time, and it was fantastic. The only problem I have with this place is that they put a lot of ice in the drinks. But what are you gonna do? It's probably a management decision, not the employees. If you don't want ice, just say "no ice." Other than that issue, this place deserves four stars. read more
