Chicken Pesto Pasta

i tried 110 grill after swearing off of them after an incident at the marlborough location years ago. i had positive experiences at this location in the past so i gave them another chance. alejandra provided great service, and gave us enough time. bang bang cauliflower was decent but i felt it was missing something, and was extremely oily. the margherita flatbread on a cauliflower crust was decent but had way too much balsamic which dampened the taste of any other topping. the shrimp scampi was delicious but very heavy, and they gave either 7 or 8 decently sized shrimps! their honey chicken sandwich was not the best. bang bang cauliflower 5/10 margherita flatbread 6.5/10 shrimp scampi 7.5/10 honey chicken sandwich 3/10 overall due to service and select menu items, i'd return to this location. they have great cocktails as well! ambiance: 4/5 food: 2.7/5 service: 4/5 110 grill: 3.6/5

Very torn about this review. Food and service were great! Absolutely loved everything we ordered from the mojito to calamari. Service was very friendly. Also loved the fact that they are allergies friendly. The price is also very fair. That said, the ambiance was just not very good. We were seated outside, and it was just very dirty. The floor was filthy with trash and ants crawling around. The table was not very clean. Frankly, even as we walked through the restaurant, the inside carpet was visibly dirty. I know this is a chain restaurant, but I still expect it better. This is a side note, but not factored into the review rating. It's more FYI for those who want to be seated outside, it is right next to a major highway, so very loud and hard to hold a conversation.

GF burger and Onion Strings

We had previously went to a 110 grill in NY and tried this one out. I love how allergen aware they are here. They asked us if we wanted a gluten free menu when we entered and asked about all food allergies when we sat. Every person who brought food to the table was aware of food allergies. My husband got the pulled pork Mac and cheese and adored it. I got a burger (Udi's bun it appears) and onion strings. Burger was okay (could use more seasoning). The onion strings were *chef's kiss*

Caught up with my buddy at 110 Grill in Saugus before he goes south for a few weeks. We sat in the bar are which is always welcoming if you're a regular or a newbie! Our appetizer of Bang Bang Cauliflower was tasty. I got the Swordfish Cajun style which was not real thick and had a perfectly light sear yet the fish held up and was moist and tasty! His Reuben looked delicious (if you know me you know it's usually my 'go to') and those Sweet Potato Fries... caloric splurge for dessert included the Lemon Sorbet surrounded by my favorite fruit - blueberries - and a sweet raspberry sauce that juxtaposed the tartness of the icy delight! The coffee was robust and steamy!

GF hot honey chicken sandwich

We had lunch here the other day and hose the spot because of GF menu offered. I had Thai sesame salmon and it was cooked perfectly. My husband had the steak and cheese, which he said was good and my son had the GF hot honey chicken sandwich. The waitress was great very personable and checked with us often.

This 9oz glass of Decoy is not worth $22.

Also it was unevenly distributed. It looked fantastic and the home fries were delicious. The toast was lightly toasted with butter. They have Sriracha, Tabasco, & Cholula hot sauces available. Along with salt & pepper, ketchup, a bucket of creamers, and butter bucket also. For drinks we had water and coffee. I wanted to bring the mug home. So cute - friends with benedicts. Love it! We ordered drinks and food from our exceptional Waiter who took amazing care and attention to all of us! I hope to see him next years season! THANK YOU HENRY! YOU ARE THE BEST and Your amazing taking care of ALL YOUR CUSTOMERS! Plus a shout out to a wonderful Gentleman named Ken who made our evening special! BUT..... this was the big DISAPPOINTMENT AND DISTURBING When the moment came for STEVIE B TO GO ON STAGE.... He was late 30 mins / BAD FORM! Which was ok! NOW.... Get prepared to hear that the audience was so excited and receptive having to see him perform his songs from the 1980's on Here is the DISAPPOINTMENT! BAD BAD BAD! He performed about 5 songs and left the Stage after around 30 minutes after everyone SHOCKED some Boo'd and displayed their disappointed with his performance! So Staff were heard that STEVIE B did the same last year..... What a shame that he disrespected KOWLOON and gave a performance that WAS LESS THAN STELLAR & short! BUT, many left around 9:30 and KOWLOON SHOULD KNOW THEIR LOYAL CUSTOMERS DO NOT BLAME THAT STEVIE B LEFT! STEVIE B LEFT A SOUR TASTE IN HIS FANS! SHAMEFUL! KOWLOON YOUR STILL NUMBER 1 Thank you all for your efforts but TALENT ARE THE ONES AT FAULT! SORRY KOWLOON! You're Still the Best in all our lives! STEVIE B, not so much!

I had also seen Phil Hates Gluten talk about their gluten\-free donuts, so I thought it would be a good place to try for my daughter, who has celiac disease\. I asked for two gluten\-free donuts\. The man helping me immediately asked, "How many donuts in total do you want?" I told him it didn't really matter because the gluten\-free donuts needed to be kept in a separate bag from the regular donuts\. He asked me AGAIN how many donuts I wanted in total, and his attitude was extremely rude and dismissive\. The other man helping us also had a bad attitude\. The whole interaction made me feel like asking about keeping the gluten\-free items separate was somehow an inconvenience\. Then, while I was standing there, a woman behind me heard our conversation and warned me not to get the gluten\-free donuts if they were for someone with celiac disease\. She told me her sister has celiac and had gotten sick after eating there\. That obviously concerned me, so I looked more closely at the donut case and saw the gluten\-free donuts displayed right next to the regular donuts\. For someone with celiac disease, cross\-contact is a serious concern, and seeing that made me uncomfortable enough that I decided not to take the chance\. I understand that "gluten\-free" does not always mean "celiac\-safe," and I don't expect every bakery to be able to guarantee a completely gluten\-free environment\. But if you are going to advertise gluten\-free donuts, your staff should at least be able to answer questions about cross\-contact respectfully and understand why a customer might ask for them to be packaged separately\. What bothered me most was the attitude\. I wasn't being difficult -- I was simply trying to keep my daughter safe\. A little kindness and understanding would have gone a long way\.

A lot of places double up on the tortillas for this reason, but no need here. We ordered the birria, carnitas, and cabeza tacos, chicken sopes, beans, rice, sweet plantains, sweet rice pudding and horchata. Standouts were the carnitas and cabeza for me - very delicious in their simplicity, the meat is seasoned and cooked to perfection. Birria was also very good but overhyped IMO (novelty factor). The chicken sopes were way bigger than expected, could easily be a meal on its own and the masa tart was pretty good. Our table liked the green sauce to add zip to the food. It was very sunny when we went, so it was blinding and hot to be sitting inside, hope they install a shade at some point. They seem to only serve in takeout containers, so eating at a table requires getting a bit creative for a "plate" etc. There's a small lot behind the building and street parking is pretty easy. I had a steak tip salad that, I have to say, was absolutely heavenly. The steak tips were cooked as ordered. Deliciously marinated, buttery tender and nicely seared over a most excellent salad. What makes a salad "most excellent?" you might ask. Well, I'll tell you. It was dressed perfectly. Just the right amount of a flavorful house dressing. Neither dry nor sopping. The generous portions of lettuce, tomato, cucumber, feta cheese, and more were all in a perfect proportion to one another, chopped small enough to render a knife unnecessary, except for the steak tips. Last time in, I chose the Fusilli Mac and Cheese with Pulled Pork. Not only was this extremely good, it was extremely large. It provided dinner for me for two nights. There seem to be a lot of regulars here, at least in the Mondays I've been in. And the place is hopping busy. The music is good. Maybe a little loud, but, hey, I'm old. They're a jovial and friendly lot. And, Becca, the bartender, is super chill. She's friendly, attentive and she mixes a good drink and pulls a good draft. I can see myself becoming a regular!
