We stopped in at lunch time and everything was great. Bartender was very friendly and made excellent drinks. As someone who is gluten free, I felt very safe. I like that this place has an entire gluten free menu. The service, however is questionable. I've placed several online orders for lunch over the last month, and while I appreciate the extra care they take to ensure the food is gluten free, it is a little irritating I had to wait so long even though my food was clearly done. The manager has to okay the food as gluten free before the items are bagged. Consequently, the food is never done at the expected time. Today, my son went to pick up lunch for me and they left him standing there for 10 minutes before anyone helped him. This place is always dead in the afternoon which is what is most irritating. I can put up with slow service if a place is busy, but I have walked into an empty restaurant enough times here just to awkwardly wait for someone to get off their cellphone to greet me. 3.5 stars. Just like all of the other reviews of this place I will also say that this was extremely "meh". I had cold fries that definitely had been sitting out for a while and a super super average chicken sandwich that was almost flavorless. I am usually not this picky with food but this was just sooo mediocre I couldn't get past it. The whole place is tired, worn, and honestly kind of gross. The drink menus were literally falling apart. The table was incredibly sticky. I felt dirty just sitting at there. It's obvious that there's just zero money being put back into the place. The waiter was extremely unkempt with long hair and wiry beard just begging to fall into food/drinks. Not to mention the shirt was very dirty. I was very glad to see he was not the one serving our food. When the waiter came over it made me not even want to eat there. A more stringent grooming standard would go a long way. All this to say that this place is clearly run by uninspired/unmotivated employees. i tried 110 grill after swearing off of them after an incident at the marlborough location years ago. i had positive experiences at this location in the past so i gave them another chance. alejandra provided great service, and gave us enough time. bang bang cauliflower was decent but i felt it was missing something, and was extremely oily. the margherita flatbread on a cauliflower crust was decent but had way too much balsamic which dampened the taste of any other topping. the shrimp scampi was delicious but very heavy, and they gave either 7 or 8 decently sized shrimps! their honey chicken sandwich was not the best. bang bang cauliflower 5/10 margherita flatbread 6.5/10 shrimp scampi 7.5/10 honey chicken sandwich 3/10 overall due to service and select menu items, i'd return to this location. they have great cocktails as well! ambiance: 4/5 food: 2.7/5 service: 4/5 110 grill: 3.6/5 read more

We came in with a group on a rainy Sunday afternoon, so it wasn't busy, maybe tops 7 tables with multiple servers, but it was overall slow service which was weird because again, it genuinely wasn't busy. Our server was super nice, it just wasn't an ideal experience dining out. When our food got to our table, someone in my party asked for water for the second time, as our server forgot the first time he asked, so finally after 10 ish minutes of waiting we didn't see her anywhere, so he asked the guy bartender for water, there were two people at the entire bar by the way, and the bartender said "if you're at a table i'll send your server over" and simply wouldn't fill his water? We had a perfect view of the entire place and he very clearly never even went over to mention it to our server like he said he would. Our server was at least very nice but the bartender was absolutely rude for no reason, as if filling a glass of water takes up so much of his time and he was so busy with two customers. I hadn't been here for awhile and stopped in last night with a friend, just to grab a drink. It was almost closing time but the hostess said we were fine to sit at the bar and get a drink. The bartender was polite, our drinks were made quickly and we enjoyed them. Though there were 2 other parties at the bar eating full meals at right around 9, we opted not to order a second round of drinks because of the time. The bartender brought our check without asking if we wanted another round so it was pretty clear she wanted us gone. I went back last night to grab some food and another drink I had seen on the menu I liked the sound of. I was going to get a table but the bar wasn't busy, so I told hostess I'd sit at bar. I was sitting down as a bartender walked by. She never even looked at me, just walked to end of the bar and hung with a group of 4-5 people who were there. There was no eye contact, no hello, nothing. I had no desire to sit there after that, so I went to hostess said I had changed my mind and would like a table. Told her I could sit at a hightop in the bar as well. She said no, i'll get you a table. She led me to a table in the smaller room where there were no other people at all. A couple of tables away from me was a large table that looked like it sat either 6 or 8 people, that was totally a mess. I couldn't believe the table hadn't been cleared off and cleaned as soon as the guests had left. My table felt sticky too but I didn't see the others looked much better. Food-wise, the burger was cooked OK but as others said, it was nothing special. The french fries were like McDonalds, the thin kind. The waiter did as best he could, he was polite, but I think they may have been short-handed because I saw all different people delivering orders. It was very awkward being the ONLY person in a dining room instead of around other people. I couldn't wait to leave and when the waiter came to ask if I wanted dessert, I just asked him to bring the check. The drink I'd planned on getting was a dessert type martini and I had no interest in staying there to get it. I left him a decent tip because I felt he was trying, but overall, I felt somewhat discriminated against by where I was seated. Very average. I love that they have gluten free options and I've had great experiences at other locations. However, the quality here just isn't quite as good. They were able to cook a burger medium rare, but nothing stood out about it. It was just like a burger I make at home. It wasn't bad, but when ordering out I want something different that I can't do myself. A sauce, a crust from high heat, a different ground meat mix, something. Also, the Reuben wasn't great. We used to love the food here, but unfortunately today's experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered the BBQ chicken salad and clearly asked for the dressing on the side, but it came completely drenched in dressing, which ruined the flavor. The waiter offered to replace it, but I decided to keep it--my mistake. After bringing the new salad, she came back just to ask me how it was. I told her it was "so-so" because of the dressing. From my expression, it was obvious I wasn't happy, but she never asked my husband anything about his meal. He had ordered a steak and cheese sandwich and explicitly asked for only red peppers. The first one came with only onions and no red peppers at all. After we sent it back, the second sandwich came without onions but with both red and green peppers, even though he had clearly said no green peppers because he really dislikes them. The meat had a grayish, unappetizing appearance, and the whole sandwich was mushy and unpleasant. He said it was the worst one he's ever had. To make things worse, the service felt cold and uninterested. The waitress didn't check on us again and, when she brought the bill, she didn't say a single word--no apology, no thank you, no "have a good day." Nothing. We even thought about leaving a small tip, but in the end, we decided--for the first time in our lives--not to leave any tip at all. Very torn about this review. Food and service were great! Absolutely loved everything we ordered from the mojito to calamari. Service was very friendly. Also loved the fact that they are allergies friendly. The price is also very fair. That said, the ambiance was just not very good. We were seated outside, and it was just very dirty. The floor was filthy with trash and ants crawling around. The table was not very clean. Frankly, even as we walked through the restaurant, the inside carpet was visibly dirty. I know this is a chain restaurant, but I still expect it better. This is a side note, but not factored into the review rating. It's more FYI for those who want to be seated outside, it is right next to a major highway, so very loud and hard to hold a conversation. read more

We had previously went to a 110 grill in NY and tried this one out. I love how allergen aware they are here. They asked us if we wanted a gluten free menu when we entered and asked about all food allergies when we sat. Every person who brought food to the table was aware of food allergies. The restaurant is worn, could use some attention. Our waitress didn't seem to care that she served us a wrong order. The worse was that all the vegetables were spoiled and soggy. When we advised our waitress that the vegetables were all gone by and it maybe helpful to tell the kitchen, she had no response, basically dumbfounded and shrugged her shoulders. Our appetizer of Bang Bang Cauliflower was tasty. I got the Swordfish Cajun style which was not real thick and had a perfectly light sear yet the fish held up and was moist and tasty! His Reuben looked delicious (if you know me you know it's usually my 'go to') and those Sweet Potato Fries... caloric splurge for dessert included the Lemon Sorbet surrounded by my favorite fruit - blueberries - and a sweet raspberry sauce that juxtaposed the tartness of the icy delight! Why is this place even still there, never mind getting some positive reviews?? We tried it years ago shortly after they opened and I had a memorably awful caesar salad that came glopped with mayonnaise and included the lettuce head/end (that i remember this years later speaks volumes - i was disgusted), sent it back obviously, and never looked back. Yesterday we were on our way into Boston and decided to give it another shot since they do have some positive reviews and are still there and it was convenient - two strikes now and they're out! Lunch at the bar, one the positive note we loved our bartender Nathan, a new hire that couldn't have been more personable, and whom we got to know since our lunch took FORTY minutes - he was embarassed and we joked about how empty the place was given the slow kitchen service. Not funny, but ... Then at long last came lunch. i got a greek salad with chicken, literally nothing more than lettuce, feta and chicken (I left off the olives, but still...). It was edible, but hard pressed to pass for a greek salad... My husband had a Cuban sandwich that wasn't horrible but borderline okay. Me and my girlfriend have been wanting to try this place out especially after seeing them on phantom gourmet. We visited for her birthday with her mother and father who notoriously don't try new dishes and we ALL loved the food!! Her mother had the salmon with garlic and butter and we all tried it, it was tender and juicy as well as flavorful and cooked to perfection!! Her father had the steak tips and really enjoyed them! She had the hot honey chicken sandwich and was blown away by not only the size but how flavorful it was! I had the pulled pork Mac and cheese and just.. WOW! It was everything I hoped it would be, extremely creamy and cheesy and the pork was tender and full of flavor! Out drinks were also really well made! The service was absolutely amazing as well! It seemed quite busy but they got a table cleaned up very quickly and got us seated! Had high expectations for this rapidly growing chain but our meal for 4 people ultimately was undermined by uneven delivery of our meals and one disappointing dish. The bar area also looks great. Our server while friendly upfront but didn't manage the meal well for us. The drink selection was wide and interesting. The beer choices were also a highlight and I was more than pleased with a well-poured 22 oz. Wormtown. After taking our orders the challenges began. Two of the dishes arrived in a reasonable amount of time- from a food runner. Then a 5 minute wait for the third dish and another 10 minutes for the fourth dish apologetically brought by the server. I couldn't tell whether this was a kitchen or server issue but it was completely disappointing. The menu is broad and varied. There's a good choice of apps, flatbreads, salads, soups, burgers and entrees including some vegetarian dishes. . We were offered a plate of bread upfront but was surprised at the small amount of fresh baked bread initially delivered to the table but the garlic butter was delicious. A Lamb Meatball specialty dish- (the last one to arrive) was well liked as was the Chicken Caprese served with mozzarella and tomatoes in a salad with balsamic dressing. The cheese tortellini with sausage was also well liked. The sausage was spicy and tasty. My shrimp and clam linguini was disappointing. It included maybe a tablespoon worth of clams (out of the shell) and perhaps 2 medium sized shrimp cut lengthwise into 4 pieces. A couple of bites and the seafood was gone. I was disappointed that this place didn't live up to the 4stars I saw in the reviews. I wonder if reviewers mistake it for the place next door. My Mom took me out for dinner to thank me for helping her with a project and I encouraged 110 Grill because it got 4stars (I'm usually confident in that rating) despite her comments about the good food next door. My drink, a simple glass of Prosecco showed up long after I ordered it and even after my meal arrived. I ordered it almost immediately upon sitting down, long before I ordered my fish n chips. Prosecco and fish n chips!? Gross--i should've been on to round two. The ratio of fish to batter was 1:3. The fries were barely room temp and obviously reheated. My Moms meal was of the same lack of quality. Everything was room temp and reheated, swordfish, Brussels sprouts and the mashed potatoes. I think it's amazing they have an entire menu for Gluten Free and I bet that's the only reason they get the 4stars. Whoever gave this place 3 plus stars needs to get out more. And, no, management we didn't complain so you could have a chance to fix it because everything was broken, where should we have started? Barbecue Chicken Nachos! My former fav! These have gone downhill. Been getting these once yummy nachos pretty frequently (once a month) for takeout. The last two times I've gotten them, instead of about a cup of white chicken breast, only about a 1/2 cup of very unappetizing looking dark meat. Almost no corn or black beans. Came here for the "brunch". Place was completely empty, but yet the hostess had to "Check" and see if there was a table. Had to wait 7-8 minutes for the staff to see if it was OK. Mind you there was only one other party behind us. So we get seated and we have to wait another 10 minutes to get water and menus by the strange wait staff, a tall man and a young woman. They seemed to be out of it and very forgetful, maybe too much partying the night before. I ordered red wine and they brought me white, and said I asked for white when I didn't. Not to mention I had to wait 15 minutes for the incorrect drink. So we get the menus and mine had oily fingerprints in it. The food took forever to get, we were sitting near the kitchen and I could see the cooking staff very tense and arguing amongst each other and with wait staff. I would say the soups and apps were a 3. My main course and the others a 2. Definitely not a great place considering the prices and terrible service. Oh yes, going back to what I said at the beginning - only 4 tables had occupants. The place was empty, so I have no idea what they needed to check about with seating or availability. This location is the former location of The Hilltop Steakhouse. At present, it's a plaza that houses the 110 grill, the Avalon, and various other establishment. The humongous cactus is still out front of the plaza. Ahhh, the memories... We stopped by on a Friday evening with a reservation for 7pm. We ordered wine and decided to order two burgers - which were among the best burgers I've ever tasted. Our server was very down to earth and accommodating. I would come here again given the great and nostalgic location, great dining atmosphere, and delicious burgers. read more

Used to love this place but it's gone extremely down hill. The place is gross, the service is slow even when it's dead and the food is mediocre. Upon my last visit my boyfriend was served completely black brussel sprouts and our waitress disappeared majority of the night. Our silverware and table were dirty and we were never offered refills on our drinks or given the opportunity to ask. Our server only came to take our order and give us our bill. I usually drink a diet Coke. The weight is very friendly and willing to accommodate you in anyway, they canprices are reasonable. The food is pretty good.
