Very torn about this review. Food and service were great! Absolutely loved everything we ordered from the mojito to calamari. Service was very friendly. Also loved the fact that they are allergies friendly. The price is also very fair. That said, the ambiance was just not very good. We were seated outside, and it was just very dirty. The floor was filthy with trash and ants crawling around. The table was not very clean. Frankly, even as we walked through the restaurant, the inside carpet was visibly dirty. I know this is a chain restaurant, but I still expect it better. This is a side note, but not factored into the review rating. It's more FYI for those who want to be seated outside, it is right next to a major highway, so very loud and hard to hold a conversation.

Caught up with my buddy at 110 Grill in Saugus before he goes south for a few weeks. We sat in the bar are which is always welcoming if you're a regular or a newbie! Our appetizer of Bang Bang Cauliflower was tasty. I got the Swordfish Cajun style which was not real thick and had a perfectly light sear yet the fish held up and was moist and tasty! His Reuben looked delicious (if you know me you know it's usually my 'go to') and those Sweet Potato Fries... caloric splurge for dessert included the Lemon Sorbet surrounded by my favorite fruit - blueberries - and a sweet raspberry sauce that juxtaposed the tartness of the icy delight! The coffee was robust and steamy!

We had previously went to a 110 grill in NY and tried this one out. I love how allergen aware they are here. They asked us if we wanted a gluten free menu when we entered and asked about all food allergies when we sat. Every person who brought food to the table was aware of food allergies. My husband got the pulled pork Mac and cheese and adored it. I got a burger (Udi's bun it appears) and onion strings. Burger was okay (could use more seasoning). The onion strings were *chef's kiss*

We had lunch here the other day and hose the spot because of GF menu offered. I had Thai sesame salmon and it was cooked perfectly. My husband had the steak and cheese, which he said was good and my son had the GF hot honey chicken sandwich. The waitress was great very personable and checked with us often.

Food was ok, will go broke on the bar bill. cheap wine- $22 a glass Buh bye! I called to ask if there was a mistake since I didn't see the charg for my one glass of wine that is a $15 bottle at Total Wine, the manager said, no that's correct, the 9 oz glass is called a carrafe. We'll, if that's a carafe, the glass I drink at home is called a bucket.

Ambiance: great for a nice lunch or dinner without having to be dressed up Service: friendly staff and attentive. Food: Fig & Prosciutto Flatbread was yummy and great to share, the Clam Chowder was really good! I was hesitating on ordering it because most restaurants don't make it very well unless its a main item on the menu but I'd absolutely have it again! The Chicken Piccata Gnocchi was good if you really like a lemony flavor, but it was a bit much for me despite it being cooked very well.

Me and my girlfriend have been wanting to try this place out especially after seeing them on phantom gourmet. We visited for her birthday with her mother and father who notoriously don't try new dishes and we ALL loved the food!! Her mother had the salmon with garlic and butter and we all tried it, it was tender and juicy as well as flavorful and cooked to perfection!! Her father had the steak tips and really enjoyed them! She had the hot honey chicken sandwich and was blown away by not only the size but how flavorful it was! I had the pulled pork Mac and cheese and just.. WOW! It was everything I hoped it would be, extremely creamy and cheesy and the pork was tender and full of flavor! Out drinks were also really well made! The service was absolutely amazing as well! It seemed quite busy but they got a table cleaned up very quickly and got us seated! Our server Niki was very attentive and friendly, she made sure we had anything we needed and was on-top of everything! Our food was all fresh and hot when it hit the table! We will DEFINITELY be back for more!!

The corned beef is large chunks, not small diced pieces found in most commercial and canned hash. The potatoes, peppers, and onions gave a nice texture and flavor. I had it topped with two over medium eggs which were perfectly cooked. As I was eyeing the French toast, he gave me a single piece which included their fruit infused whipped cream and was really, really good! That might be my entree next time. My friend got the crepes and her face was doing happy expressions while she was eating. My new best friend Maria kept my coffee mug full-she visited the table frequently to make sure my mug never got low nor cold. She also took care to clean the table promptly as plates were finished. Now if my kids could learn that... oh wait, this is a diner review. The ambiance is cute and chic. There was easy access to accommodate wheel chairs and they have their menu clearly marked for gluten free available and vegan options (most of the menu). The menu is on the fancier side; they will prepare whatever someone wants (e.g. if someone just wants 2 eggs and bacon, they can easily do that). The location is on Main St. so parking is hit or miss. If you are nearby and want something good, this is a good option!

Good portion, fingers crispy, not fresh fresh, but semi-fresh with good chicken-to-batter ratio. Sweet and sour sauce served on the side was excellent: nice and sweet, with plenty of tang too, and even though sticky, not the dreaded gloppy fire engine red version served elsewhere. Overall, well above average. If hotter and fresher, elite. -- Pork Fried Rice (on the combo): Composition: excellent. Color: excellent. Flavor: excellent. Warmth and freshness: lacking in both. Obviously prepared a good while before I ordered it and sitting in a bin to be taken as needed, not cooked to order. -- Egg Roll (add-on to the combo): Good fillings but gummy shell. No crispness. Not much warmth. I keep asking for fresh and they promise fresh, but they lie. Decent flavor, and some shrimp were involved, so at least average. But when Kowloon decides to put the effort in or when timing is on your side, these are among the best in the business. But on this day-- because they didn't and it wasn't-- merely average. -- Spare Ribs (add-on to the combo): These were somewhat warm, somewhat meaty, and more than somewhat flavorful. A little above average. Everything came much quicker to the table than cooking from scratch would allow, so the precooked concept is still in play. Still a decent lunch, and with a great visual backdrop, but it could be so much better. And at their prices, it SHOULD be better.

First impressions was ... wow a large place and crowded on a Sunday for lunchtime. I figured this must be good food... big wrong . I was surprised and not wowed when viewing the lunch special menu... high prices for entree , then add more money to add on an appetizer side , to add on to add an egg roll... vs.. all together as a lunch combo ? 7.25 for a single egg roll ... this was clearly a price gouging. Then an appetizer of bone in ribs was 24.95. Placed order and food arrived in minutes... so all the food was re heated. I was very disappointed, cold rice, egg roll cold and looked not home made or if it was ... reheated , cold. Ingredients in egg roll were just ok... certainly not worth 7.25. The bone in ribs was a total rape job. I should have sent back as reheated to point of cremation... top two ribs were cold and edible, the kitchen was shrewd and deceptive as put or hid the dog bone quality cremated ribs on the bottom of pile... I would have sent back had I did a forensic analysis of the ribs on bottom of pile... 24.95 paid for those still bothers me days later writing this review. I feel violated. I paid cash or had I used AMEX, I would have submitted a dispute of charge for the credit card expense . Place way over rated and serving that quality is an embarrassment. Someone had warned me that they reheat the food most of time, but when cooked fresh then it is edible. I will never return as owner must be mailing it in til they bulldoze the place soon for the new apartment buildings or development planned... Better quality Chinese elsewhere in Cambridge... I feel ripped off bad. I'll stay away... maybe only the bar patrons get the reheated cold food as the restaurant was crowded? Maybe nothing or better options in Saugus than this Burger King of Chinese food type food served in massive size Burger King atmosphere, however with San Francisco prices. Holy Prices here Batman !

A lot of places double up on the tortillas for this reason, but no need here. Standouts were the carnitas and cabeza for me - very delicious in their simplicity, the meat is seasoned and cooked to perfection. Birria was also very good but overhyped IMO (novelty factor). The chicken sopes were way bigger than expected, could easily be a meal on its own and the masa tart was pretty good. Our table liked the green sauce to add zip to the food. It was very sunny when we went, so it was blinding and hot to be sitting inside, hope they install a shade at some point. The tacos come in 4 to a meal, so we so split two and two. Naturally, I prefer steak but both the chicken and steak were phenomenal. Lots of flavor!! The taco especial, has onions and cilantro and a nice lime squeeze on the side that is a nice flavor burst and addition. If you want the lettuce, cheese, tomato, etc. then you want the americano version. The tacos come with two sauces, both of which were spicy but you can tell were made/fresh! The outside was nice and crispy obv coated in cinnamon and sugar and then the inside was soft and doughy but not raw dough, just perfection. The dipping sauce was excellent too - they could provide a little bit more of it but we made it work. Anyways, highly recommend. It's fresh and authentic- clearly homemade with good ingredients!!
