Fish bits tacos

We wanted to like it. Drinks were great, steak tips were great, dessert was great. Service was pretty good given that our server was new. I read reviews about the fish tacos being the best people ever had. I thought they were awful! The tortilla was not soft or fresh. Had a stale flavor. The little fish that I got, literally 1/4", 1 tiny piece on each taco (1 was even just a cut off piece) was so bland and no flavor for fried fish, so much salsa that it just fell apart and onion strings were super salty. There was maybe 3/4oz of protein, if that, with all the breading. Manager came over and said it wasn't prepared properly. You couldn't pick it up to eat it. He said onion strings batter is salty. He replaced it with a properly made dish and the mashed potatoes were great. If the tortilla was softer or if they added crema or goat cheese or feta and offered it grilled, not fried, it would have elevated the dish. Maybe a little cilantro would have helped too. It was practically flavorless. Best fish tacos I have ever had were at Shining Rock country club in Upton. We indicated on the reservation we were celebrating a birthday. No mention of that during the meal.

Greek Salad with hardly any olives or feta cheese.

Ok - I'm torn between a 3 or 4 rating, but decided to go with the 3. On the road to the Cape, we decided to stop for lunch. Nice space. There were a few outside tables, however we opted for inside. It's not a huge place, though the bar area was about 1/2 the size of the restaurant. The food was decent. Here's why I went with a 3 rating: I ordered a Greek salad. $14. What was served didn't resemble a Greek salad. The feta & olives that were supposed to be on the salad were almost nonexistent. So - a lot of money for some romaine lettuce, scant pieces of grape tomato & cucumber. Red onions (I think they were the pickled one - not bad). However - our server (Gina I think) was really nice. I commented more feta & olives would be nice when she asked how things were. So, she brought out more - the salad was saved! Thank you Gina. FYI - same menu for lunch & dinner. Expensive for lunch. Next time, I'll just come for dinner & order one of the other entrees that sounded good. And I will speak up if something isn't what I expected.

me and my wife love this place, she has a gluten allergy and they are always so accommodating and helpful when ordering from the gluten free menu. Matt was our server and he was fantastic! he gave us the deep dive on how allergy friendly the kitchen is, it's hard to find 100% gluten free fried food but 110 grill has gluten free fryers. he also made our drinks at the bar and they were perfect! it's nice having a location so close to us, especially when we don't want to cook!

Pan seared scallops

Randomly stumbled upon here coming home from a birthday party and took the advice of a lady working there to get the Chicken piccata gnocchi and was pleasantly surprised when I ate later. Also got 5)3 lambs meatballs and the pan seared scallops, but those not as highly rated (weren't as juicy as used to or I'm just not a fan of the sauce?). Would love to try more if ever in the area again.

Once again 110 Grill disappoints. My wife went with friends for lunch and brought me home their large clam chowder. If that was the large, I'd hate to see the small size. Pitiful. My phone is bigger. So was my spoon.

This is a local chain and I can see why it's so popular. The food was good, the atmosphere and service were great, and the desserts....we all thought we were too full but then between our group we devoured an apple crisp, a key lime pie, and an oreo hot fudge brownie sundae! Both the outdoor patio and the bar were hopping. They had live music on the patio too. This restaurant perfectly walks the line between casual enough for after work drinks but upscale enough for a nice dinner out.

I stopped in for dinner at the Hopkinton 110 Grill location with my family, when I was visiting. Overall, we had a pleasant experience! We did not make a reservation, but were still able to be seated fairly quickly for a Sunday night. To start, we split the spinach dip bread bowl, which was great! My sister and I especially enjoyed eating the bread bowl afterwards with the spinach and cheese that had seeped in-yum! For my main course, I ordered the steak tips with a side of mashed potatoes and broccoli. These were really good. My mom got the thai sesame salmon, which was another hit at our table. Our server that we had, was very friendly too. This is a local chain in Massachusetts that I have eaten at a few times with my family. It is usually pretty good food, with good service. I would recommend making a reservation if you're coming in on a weekend, because they can get busy. If you're looking for a casual place to stop in for a burger or seafood, this is a good spot to go!

Known locally as "The Chat," it's tucked away in a neighborhood overlooking Dudley Pond, in what began life as a private fishing lodge nearly a century ago before becoming a speakeasy and eventually the local institution it is today. It definitely shows its age--and I mean that affectionately. (The Dudley Chateau) The building is well worn, it gets packed, it can be loud, and yes, the restrooms have seen better days. None of that has stopped us from coming back several times a year. Why? Because the food is consistently excellent, and so is the service. The menu goes well beyond what you'd expect from a neighborhood pub, and we've yet to leave disappointed. The staff somehow manages to stay friendly, attentive, and efficient even when the place is buzzing. The Dudley Chateau isn't trying to be trendy or upscale, and that's part of its charm. It's comfortable in its own skin, and so are the people who keep coming back. If you're looking for spotless, quiet, and polished, this probably isn't your place. But if you're looking for great food, friendly service, and a genuine local institution with plenty of character, it's absolutely worth the visit.

We ordered the chicken Mediterranean wrap and an order of French fries. Everything was ready when we arrived, and it only took about 10 minutes from the time I called, which was great! Let me just say, the fries were AMAZING! They're fresh-cut and cooked well-done, just the way I like them. Honestly, I could go back just for the fries alone! The wraps were served cold, which caught me off guard a little. My coworker mentioned that Mediterranean sandwiches are usually served cold, so that may just be a personal preference thing. I'm someone who prefers warm chicken, so I wish I had known beforehand and asked if it could be warmed up. The restaurant itself has that little hole-in-the-wall vibe, which I usually associate with some really good food, and this place definitely delivered on that! Customer service was great, the food was good, and I like that even though it's a barbecue restaurant, they offer other options too. My only wish is that they offered brisket because that's my absolute favorite barbecue food! Overall, we had a good experience, and I'd definitely come back again. Next time, I'm getting those fries for sure!

I ordered the Mediterranean grilled chicken wrap, which was good overall. The dressing was very watery, and there was way too much of it on the wrap. Next time, I would definitely ask for it on the side as it did have a good taste. The chicken was also served completely cold, which may be how this type of wrap is normally prepared, but I would personally prefer it warmed up a little. The fries were definitely a highlight. They were fresh, hand-cut and had a delicious salty flavor. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and would come back again. With a few small adjustments to my order next time, I think it would be even better!

Brazilian Burger? A Different Kind of Burger!…read more Looking for a birthday burger and wanting something different, and that is exactly what Marao Burgers offered. I did not know there was a Brazilian style for burgers, and Marao opening up recently gave me a place to learn more. What is a Brazilian burger? In addition to the regular lettuce, tomato, etc, there is corn and potato sticks added to the mix along with Brazilian sauces. Ham and cheeses are the norm for most folks, but we skipped those. I expected something spicy, but that is not what is "standard". We added onion rings and fried plantains as sides. Way too much food for two people! How did Marao's do? Pretty darn good! The burger was a bit overcooked for my liking, but everything was fresh and very flavorful, especially the meat. There are times that each taste grabs center stage as the toppings and large toasted bun were very, very good. You need an oversized bun for the oversized beef patty and for all the toppings. We could only eat half the food and ended up having another burger meal for dinner from the leftovers. I swear the tastes were better after being reheated! And they have green bottled Coke. This is food prepared to order, so you will have to wait a few minutes at one of the tables. Others may be faster but these burgers are worth the wait. I really enjoyed my special meal, and will be back before getting any older! They are worth giving a try.

The booths are very private, arranged like train car compartments. -- Half Sour Pickle Slices: A small bowl made a nice mood-setting complimentary snack. Crunchy and tasty. --Side Caesar Salad: I got this as a makeshift appetizer, and while it won't join my pantheon of Caesars, it was prepared very competently and was a very large portion for the price. -- Ted's Bacon Cheeseburger: They're famous for the bison, but I got the more mainstream beef option, along with Cheddar as my cheese. Impressive pile of grilled onions that stayed true to their oniony essence and grill flavor, rather than the oversweetened approach others use. Really impressive, bacon too: thin, but with an incredibly strong cure flavor. Not only was there some under the onions, but there was an additional tangle alongside the burger for adding or snacking on its own. Thin but delicious. The beef looked a little darker than my requested medium rare, but it came through with the gentle texture and full-fledged juiciness, so no complaints. Lettuce, tomato, raw onion, and pickles all sat on the plate as well, ready for do it yourself inclusion if desired. -- Fries and Onion Rings (included with the burger): The server mentioned the option of half-and-half, so I took it. The fries were billed as fresh cut, but seemed lackluster: not very potatoey, lacking flavor, and oddly textured like packing styrofoam. The onion rings had a little more oomph, with a crunchy seasoned breadcrumb treatment. No threat for the pantheon, but not bad, and the creamy/zippy horseradish ranch dip was a winner. Service was excellent, the room was a comfy getaway from the office, and the solid burger was a nice getaway from the overdone smash burgers (both literally and figuratively) that are so pervasive nowadays. Bison, you're next. Many more plusses than flaws. An obvious 4.
