Had a great experience here tonight. I was waited on by Daniel and he gave some great customer service. I have been to this location about 5 times and it is always outstanding. They cook their burgers perfectly, juicier than anywhere else. Five Guys I always seem to forget about, even though I have finally decided they are my favorite of the competition around. Their burgers are just more flavorful and more filling than those at Smashburger, Wahlburgers, Mooyah, Jake's Wayback's, and any of the other chains that are comparable. Five Guys consistently has efficient service and clean restaurants as well. This particular location is on Route 109 in Milford, in the plaza with the Big Y Supermarket and several other smaller shops including a Rite Aid and Dollar General. Decent interior. Plenty of tables and chairs throughout. Not the most comfortable or cozy fast food restaurant by any means. No booths and the chairs are honestly as hard as rocks! Would definitely hope Five Guys doesn't open any more restaurants with these seating types. Food is expected. Burgers are definitely not healthy at all, but fine to have once in a while. They are flavorful and filling. Service is pretty good at this specific location. Employees seem efficient and happy. Nothing bad here. A good place for quick burgers in Milford. 4 stars. I like 5 Guys burgers and fries. I also like the fancy soda machine! I always get the "littles" bc 2 patties is too much for me. Hubby and I split fries. We tried to go to another place that has burgers and shakes with table service a few doors down. After been seated and our order taken we were told the grill was closed. We thought where else can we get a quick meal. Five Guys! We walked in at 9:32PM and got great service; the cashier even completed my nails. We know you close at 10 and we appreciate your grill still being open at 930 and even 955 when some other customers came in. The service is always great! The burgers and shakes are always fresh and flavorful and the french fry portions go above and beyond, I love potatoes in all forms. I used to live five minutes from a Five Guys, so I am pretty opinionated about this place. This particular location is not as good as some of the others I've been to. At the other locations you could walk in right after opening or just before closing and expect the same high quality delicious product... this location is slightly lacking. Pretty good location depending on the day, lately the quality has been declining. The burgers I noticed are more tougher than the tender quality they use to be and aren't as juicy. And I mean the quality of the meat it doesn't fall apart, not because of the way it is because cooked but the ground beef quality itself. And I know ground beef prices has increased in the last year so I don't know if that is a factor but eek it is not the same! This is your basic five guys in Milford, and the food as with every five guys is delicious ( although it weighs so heavy in you stomach for like a day! So worth it though, but I digress). My main problem with this location which I've been to a few times is the staffing always seems off, never enough people to cover a lunch rush it seems. This was my first time inside a Five Guys Burgers and Fries establishment and I was quite pleased with my first trip. Here's a breakdown: Portion size: I was very satisfied with the portion sizes here. I got a "Little Cheeseburger" which was the size of a normal burger anywhere else. Plus, the smaller size of fries was huge - the fries were overflowing into the brown bag they serve your meal in. Price: The one downside to Five Guys is that it is a little pricey compared to other fast food chains. The quality is better, so that is what you're paying extra for, but it'll probably run you around $8 or $9 for a meal (Little burger, fries and a soda). Restaurant: The restaurant itself in Milford was very clean and I like the simplicity of it. One of my favorite parts of the Milford restaurant was the space-age looking fountain drink dispensers! There is one spout and you pick your drink off of an LCD touch screen - cool! Menu: Five Guys reminds me a lot of In-n-Out Burger on the West Coast - the menu is pretty simple, as are the extra options you can add to an order. There are no combo meals like there are at McDonalds or Burger King. There are four different types of burgers to choose from, with a bunch of toppings that you can add, and that's about it. Some people may object to the lack of options, but I find it refreshing. It's nice to see the old Blockbuster store turned into something that will hopefully stay in business for awhile. Today, I spent nearly $15 for a mediocre cheeseburger and a small order of fries (no drink). The burgers might look good in the glossy advertising, but in reality they're tiny and not much bigger than a clenched fist; they're bland tasting; and they're definitely not worth the nearly $10 price tag. The burger was eatable, but nowhere close to some of the glowing reviews you might read here. Even the fries were disappointing. You could get a similar tasting burger, fries and a drink at Wendy's for much cheaper. Friendly staff at this particularly location, but for the cost of lunch here ($14 and change for a burger and small fries) it's just not worth it. You'd be better off eating somewhere else to get your money's worth. read more

Usually love this place but the last 2 times I've gone there, my order has been wrong. Tonight, I ordered a veggie sandwich with cheese, pickles, and condiments. As their menu states, the veggie sandwich comes with onions, peppers, mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, and whatever you choose to top it with. When I opened my order at home, I had a bun with cheese, ketchup, mayo, mustard and pickles. No vegetables on the veggie sandwich... kind of disappointing after a long day at work. OMG, this is THE BEST place to get a burger!!! The fact that you can see everything that is going on is wonderful, the seating is great, the fries are so damn tasty and the fact you get to have some fresh peanuts while waiting for your meal is another plus!! These burgers are only good because of the toppings you can get on them. The quality of the food itself is nothing special. The fries are bland. Five Guys...actually has some of the best burgers and fries I've had. No clowns or crowns here, just what is on the sign: Burgers & Fries. More than adequate portions, good beef burgers, fresh fixins. Even though they wrap the burger in foil and serve it in a brown paper bag, it doesn't look like someone sat on it or picked it out of the trash. The fries are out of this world. Super hot (cooked in peanut oil!!), not over seasoned, identical to fries you might get at a fair. Of course I had my fries "Five Guys Style", they do offer "Cajun Style" which I will get next time. They have hot dogs, grilled cheese, burgers and fries. NO goofy toys, no stupid McNames and an open kitchen. That alone is like they are on stage so you can see what you will be eating. I saw NO microwaves or heat lamps. Nobody hiding doing who knows what to your burger. As an added bonus they have serve yourself peanuts (in- the- shell). The place is bright and cheerful and decorated with potatoes because the fries are just as important and just as good as the burgers. Soda dispensing is cool too. read more

I would like to start off saying if you are looking for a place to get a good burger avoid all 5 guys! I have been to a few five guys and was at this one recently. The service is slow and the burgers always suck it is pretty much a 9$ for a mcdouble McDonald's sandwich with toppings! Except at McDonald's you can eat it with your hands at five guys they give out forks and knives because it's the only way you can eat the burger. The burgers are always smudged and sloppy and need a fork to eat it no matter how many toppings you have. The only reason I have them two stars is because there fries are good and friends portion is great. It's thirteen dollars for a crappy overpriced burger and alot of good fries. Overall avoid the burgers and buy the fries. read more
