She took the time to explain that my previous salon had actually buffed too far into my nail bed (which made so much sense ), and walked me through exactly how she's going to help fix them and get them back to a healthy state. I've been coming to this salon for 3 years now and can say that all the techs are wonderful. Never had a bad experience even when my regular tech is not available and had to be seen by the others. Very talented, funny and kind people. I have however, seen bad customers be rude and unreasonable with the staff. All I can say is maybe you get what you give. I had such a great experience at 10th Ave. Nails in Caldwell! I'm one of those clients who's really hard to please and super picky about my nails--but Becca absolutely nailed it. My nails look amazing: smooth, even, and flawless with no lifting, bumps, or grooves. Her nail art is seriously on point. The whole salon has a super chill vibe--there was a movie playing, everyone was friendly, and it was nice that everyone spoke English so communication was easy. The worst manicure ive ever had! My cuticles were dry and needed some moisture. Apparently this Salon does not believe in soaking your fingers and giving you a cuticle softening lotion to start. to top it off she used a Dremel that's been on other people's cuticles, to sand off my cuticles which made them even dryer and ugly! Not to mention unsanitary She did dab some oil on them afterwards only because I was not happy. I've never been to a salon that took a $25 deposit on a credit card before my appointment. $45 for a no frills manicure , if you want to call it a manicure! read more

I went in for gel nail removal and, while the technician was friendly and fit me in as a walk-in, the service itself was rushed and careless. My nails were scratched, uneven, and painfully thin after the session, with some areas filed down into my nail beds, leaving them sore and bruised. I had to go to another salon to fix the damage. To the owner: My mom came in on Sunday for a pedicure. I booked her on line. the price was $40 +$5 for polish. she has a 3pm appointment. not only was she asked to pay a different price $10 more, the pedicure took 2 hours. for someone who can drive in the dark that's fine, but for elderly people...I was on the phone with her at the end of her pedicure and the price on the website was still $45, and feel that should have been honored until the website could be changed, as people book according to website pricing. I also feel 1 hour is plenty of time for a basic pedicure. we won't be back. read more

My mom and I have been going here for a couple of months only getting our nails done once a month and we will now be looking for a new place to go. It was all fine until recently we went in and got really bad manicure. The color I picked was not the same color that was put on my nails, you can see streaks in my nails from applying the polish uneven and the shape is uneven as well. My mom's nails chipped literally an hour after leaving the salon and she didn't get the color she wanted. Super over priced (65$) for what we got. Staff is very friendly and a really clean and professional place overall just inexperienced staff. read more

I went to this salon one time for a polish change. I had gel polish on with fairly short nails. I wanted French tips. I was told that it was $12 additional for tips and more additional money to shape my already short nails. All said and done it was $64 for a polish change. I had an appointment so they were on time but I could justify the ala cart prices when I'm not getting anything put gel polish. read more

I couldn't be more pleased with this place. They specialize in dip and use a process that makes them last and is less damaging to your nails when you need a fill. The salon is clean with spacious stations that have excellent ventilation systems built right into the tables. Very friendly and professional staff. read more

Awful experience, traumatized by criminal minds playing right in front of us on the tv. Insufficient staff for appointments booked - to do a pedicure with a friend, you have to share a person. So one of you has feet in cold water while the other gets their pedicure. Paid for a volcano pedicure $75.00 not worth it, the water got cold waiting so they had to drain it and did not put the volcano stuff back in water. Overpriced for the service received. Toe nails were cut, not cleaned underneath ( not that they were dirty but no orange stick utilized) cutting cuticles was ok, what was suppose to be a massage and scrub were about 2 min each, did not qualify as a massage. Not relaxing atmosphere. Clean shop everything new because they opened mid December. The color chosen did not match the color in the book and verbalized that and they kept painting without a care of a happy customer. Not sure how they ever got 5 stars on their own website. read more
