This was my first time at the OBI nail spa (outstanding beautiful individual). I walked in and they were available to attend. The spa looks decent, not super fancy. They were busy for a Thursday afternoon. I went with their basic pedicure but the lady who worked on my feet suggested their special and I obliged. She worked on my feet and did a good job. Felt good and relieved after a weeks work. The overall service took about an hour and I am not complaining. The massage chair is an added bonus if you like one. The prices are reasonable and you have to tip in cash. Overall a good place owned by locals.
They gave me toenails where I had none. I have been going here since moving to AZ. Been other places , but.. they are the best.
DO NOT COME TO THIS NAIL SALON. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!! This is hands down THE grossest nail salon I've ever been to in my entire life. I should have checked the reviews before i stepped foot inside here. Lesson learned! I came here to get a mani/pedi during the weekday because i was out in the area running errands. There wasn't a single customer in the salon when i arrived. There were 4 women sitting in the back eating lunch and watching TV. I asked if anyone had time for nails and they laughed and said "well no ones here so yeah". The smell inside was INCREDIBLY overwhelming. Like pungent. I thought it was just from their lunch but come to find out they were actually PEELING GARLIC while a fan is blowing in the back???? Like not just a little either. But seriously WHY ARE YOU PEELING GARLIC IN A NAIL SALON?!?!? That is so unsanitary and gross!! I was beyond SHOOK! I had been soaking in the water for maybe 5-10 minutes when they became angry when i told them it so smelled horribly, i was very uncomfortable and that i didn't want to proceed with my nails and wanted to leave. They started yelling in their language and becoming very aggressive towards me. They tried to charge me full price even though i literally didn't get anything done. These women there were EXTREMELY unprofessional and so rude. I have never ever in my life experienced anything quite like this before so I have made a formal complaint with the BBB. This "nail salon" SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY it's completely UNSANITARY. Pictured is the nail tech with her big ass bag of peeled garlic. BEYOND DISGUSTING TO DO INSIDE A NAIL SALON!!!!! I guess we know why no one was in there now! YIKES
My daughters and I heard great reviews about this nail salon so we went Sunday for pedicures and a manicure for a special occassion. It was a huge disappointment. The three of us all requested the same pedicure treatment but we all received different services. After the pedis were done I wanted a manicure and opted for dip powder. That experience was disappointing as well. The tech filed my nails for just a second or two per nail, didn't push back cuticles and no oil. He was obvuously in a rush so I was feeling uncomfortable about taking his time. After he was done they looked okay but a little sloppy. Two days later 6 nails are chipping. I feel so cheated, ripped off and really disappointed that I can't give this place a great review like my friends did. Not worth the money I spent or the time to drive there.
I didn't catch the name of the nail tech who did my nieces nails but they came out beautifully. Exceeded our expectations. She did exactly what my niece wanted. This was a great first experience for her.
It's really sad to see a business review go down the drain within the last 10 mins of getting my nails done. When I first check the review of this salon it was somewhat decent not bad, so I decided to go and try it out. I had just finished my hike so I was in my shoes. I walked into the shop and was assisted by Tiffany and a guy name Duc. They're customer service was great. Only thing was, my nails aren't really that well done but they were good. Finishing up my nails I waited for my toes to dry. Please keep in mind I understand the language. Another lady comes by and ask me about Yelp and if I had an account. I told her yes and she insist and basically seems like a force for me to give her a 5 stars and told me to do it right then and there. I kept telling her no and told her I don't have yelp on my phone but only on my laptop. After all I haven't checked to see how my nails fully looked. She then insist me to give her a 5 star on google since I didn't have Yelp on my phone. I basically told her the same thing. She was so Verbally forceful that the whole shop knew she was telling me to give her a 5 star for about 3-5 mins. I stuck to my answer and told her I will post a review when I get home. She then left and spoke in the language and said to my nail tech "that girl over there doesn't want to leave, is she done? She's taking up space" at this point they aren't aware that I understand what they are saying. I then waited till my toes were dried and ask if I'm good to pay. The same lady grabs my shoes and took me to the register and mumbled a bunch of harassment and very disrespectful things about me in the language again, because I did not leave a review when she demanded me to. When I paid with cash she grabbed the cash out of my hand instead of waiting for my to hand it to her. She also waited for me to give her the tips so she can distribute to my nail techs but I told her I'll do it myself. So long story short, I verbally say thank you in my language and let her know that I know what she's saying and that that's no way to treat a customer. I gave them a 2 instead of a 1, because my customer service was not bad nor was my technician. My nails are okay/good but my experience was horrible due to what happened at the end. This was uncalled for and no one should be force to place a 5 star review. You should be carefully who walks into your shop doors and always treat everyone with respect. Harassment or hate speech is no way to treat any customer. I will not be back to this shop.
Not worth the high prices, I was in that side of town and decided to pop in for a manicure/pedicure and was very disappointed. For starters their prices are higher than where I live but that was fine, I would imagine I would receive better service. My manicure is so poorly done, the whole nail is not even painted. I pointed it out to the tech and she "fixed" it but as you can see by the picture it's not. I took that pic when I got home, there are bumps in the polish, sloppy edges, and the gel is low quality too. The tech who did my pedicure did a great job, the only bad part about that was the polish itself. By the end of the day it was also already chipping, and when I touched it, it made some ridges as if it wasn't dry yet but it had been several hours. Really upset I paid for this.
I just paid $75 for a Gel pedicure! The gel was messed up before I left and it was packed! The bottoms of my feet felt like sand paper after the pedi. My gel is already peeling off! I will never go back to this place! I'd recommend people go somewhere else! I remember why I stopped coming here years ago.
Worst experience ever. Fist, I made an appointment and still waited 20 minutes only to sit fir an additional 25 minutes soaking my hands in acetone. I was getting a dip refill so the product I had on was disintegrating into my skin. Then the nail technician moved me to her table and didn't even try to remove the product from my hands and hen proceed to cut my natural nails down from one inch to numbs without asking. I complained and she just laughed. The picture says it all. I was charged full price and will never step foot in that place again!
Tiffany is the best mail tech hands down! I bring her mail designs and she makes them come to life on my nails.... just look at this Santa look she did for me!!!
I got a pedicure and I was shocked at the end result!! My nails were super uneven and very unprofessional quality. I defiantly could have given myself a better pedicure and was upset I was paying for this!
Really disappointed in my manicure from Obi. I went in for a manicure and pedicure and felt very rushed. They started on my nails while also doing my toes which made the service feel very rushed and half done. She had to carry all the tools over to my lap. She didn't trim the nails at all so they are different lengths and filed them so quickly so they don't feel smooth. When she applied the gel polish I noticed it didn't cover the full nail so I asked her to please paint the whole nail. She went over in an extra coat which made it thicker and still didn't get the full nail. I think it looks really sloppy. I wish I would have asked her to take them all off instead of let her finish.
I have been coming here since 2008.my grandmother loves this place. I moved to California in 2014 so this is the first time I have been back in almost 7 years and they've sadly completely fallen off. I've never gotten dip done from this place so from start to finish the guy just kept saying "it looks nice right?" (even after the first dip) so since I had a very challenging day prior I just kept smiling and said "yes, thank you" praying it would come together by the end since my grandma was trying to do something nice to help cheer me up on Valentine's Day. By the end they looked like a clonky hot mess, no hand wash, no massage, no lotion, the second I sat down this man used cotton balls to take the polish off, then just started dipping. I had dirt under one nail and he still kept dipping. My cuticles were dry, I had nail dust all over my hands and he finished without even filing the gel down like "looks nice right" and I smile like "ehhh..." and I go to talk to my grandma in private because this is her favorite place, but he comes behind me like, "looks nice right mam?!" So my grandma pays him the $40 and tips him $10 before I can stop her. So I just say screw it, thank him and walk out. Not even 5 minutes after I left someone who gets dip all the time tells me "eek! Those look terrible where did you get those done?" So I went right back in and just kindly asked if they can remove it. They of course aren't happy and start offering to change it to gel and I say "no thank you, I would just like them removed" because again I was having a very bad day and just wanted to go home and curl into a ball and cry, I had to leave back to Cali, I didn't want to sit in that salon another second. So she removes them and I'm sitting there with my nails all shaved and filed down, hands covered in dust, cuticles all busted and she looks at me "okay done" so I say "thank you, may we please have the $40 back? My grandmother doesn't have a lot of money to waste and he can keep the $10 tip" and she says "no, we did our part, you didn't like it and want nothing else, so that's on you" and I didn't want to argue so I just say okay and left because I already felt terrible enough having to embarrassingly go back and sit there to have them removed not even 5 mins after they finished. This will be the last time I ever go there. Worst experience of my life on top of a terrible day and $50 in the trash for the below terrible looking nails. I wouldn't go here for anything more than a basic $15 nail polish. This was done by the gentlemen closest to the right of the door when you walk in. Nice guy, WORST nail tech. Never get dip from here.

The staff was friendly and my pedicure was AMAZING! I did the OPI Deluxe Pedicure ($32) and the massage was incredible, seemed to last forever and it didn't feel rushed at all. She was thorough and I did not feel like I had to be very specific at all, she knew what she was doing! My fill on the other hand... That's where I was highly disappointed. A gentleman did my fill, he started out ok, however, when he was filing my nail, he grazed my skin which hurt a lot. As soon as my sister called and I was talking to her on the phone, he got really short, at one point he told me he was going to need my hand so I had to get off the phone. I simply held my phone against my shoulder because I don't get to talk to my sister very much as she lives out of state. I felt as though he was rushed and my nails looks uneven as he was applying the fill. He didn't take his time as he was painting my nails either, it came out extremely sloppy, uneven and really gross looking. He left residue under my fingernails as well, which of course I didn't notice until after I left because he rushed me out of the chair, demanded I pay right after he put oil in my hands and he didn't honor the 10% off discount as a first time customer... Highly disappointed with the way my fill turned out... And the customer service from that gentleman. Prices aren't posted anywhere on website or in the salon. read more

I live just a few minutes away from here so I decided to come here for my full set. It was my first time in and I called ahead and told them I could be there within 5-10 mins so they said to come now and as soon as I got there they were all very attentive and they started on my nails within 5 minutes of being in. The place itself is beautiful and they did an awesome job on my nails. Couldn't be happier with them and I'll continue to go back here for my fills. Would recommend to anyone. The ABSOLUTE worst nail tech ever right by the door!!!! My Nails were different lengths and shapes she ruined my coffin shape by shortening my nails. After the 2nd attempt to fix it I said forget it just paint them. Got home and the tip bent complete up from being so thin. I went back within 30 minutes and nail is even shorter because she referred to make it longer and it's completely square. I had a fill eyebrows and lip wax with pedicure almost 100.00 I realized they didn't do the bottom of my feet and requested it upon return. She said no they are busy yet I was the only one there. It was my 1st time there and was unaware that callus removal was extra no biggie. I said I wanted the complete pedicure and would pay for the difference. She said no and I replied that she was refusing me service for her horrible work. So I paid the extra and 4 walk ins asked for pedicures and signed in. I will never return to a place where they treat people like this!!! read more

I've been going to this nail salon for awhile now and I've always been so happy with the results. Donny does my nails every time and he is AMAZING. He does such a pristine job and the shape is always spot on. I asked for designs this time I went and I was very impressed by the results. Donny is so thorough with his work and never fails to disappoint me. I always ask for my nails to be "thick" to make sure they don't break. I would recommend calling the salon first and asking for Donny you will not be disappointed. The manager is also extremely nice and friendly and always very attentive to me. I have posted my nails on my social media accounts and my followers always love them and ask where I go. I refer them to Donny every time. I will be coming back !!Thank you so much Donny !!! read more

I gave it a shot I've been going there the last 4 months and I'm so unhappy first off they hound you to yelp them while you are there. Taking my phone to take the picture of my nails, kinda pushy. They make you pay 6$ for repairs, normally those are free. I've had to get this same set repaired twice and today I just broke the nail they repaired yesterday. I'm not going back they will get up in the middle of doing your nails to answer a personal phones. I think the combo of it just turned me off to them entirely. read more

One of the cleanest nail salon I've been to! I absolutely love getting my nails done by Tiffany! She's been in this industry for 20+ years. She knows what she's doing! And I don't ever feel shy about asking her to touch up a nail or if I think the length could go shorter. Oh, and the best part is that she doesn't rush me! She's fast and efficient but she won't speed through my service just to get to the next customer! I always get compliments after getting my nails done by Tiffany so it's not just me who thinks she's awesome! read more

I have been going to Donny for almost a year for all my nail needs. He is very friendly and is always determined to have my nails turn out just the way I like. As he says" he likes challenges" and I'm one to always have a challenge for him. I visited this morning for a fresh full-set and had a picture in mind for how I wanted them to look. So as I'm getting an amazing pedicure he goes to work on my much needed makeover on my hands. He took extra steps and lots of time to create the depth of what I wanted. Needless to say they came out beyond great! They have a wonderful friendly staff in all areas for whatever you might need. I have tried all services and have never been disappointed and the establishment is always clean and inviting. read more
