This salon owner does not communicate. I walked in at 10 o'clock and I said how long is the wait I have a flight to catch at 11:30. They told me five minutes. At 10:10 I said I just wanna remind you. I have a flight at 10:10. They said they're calling. She should be there soon. Then it's 1025 and I say I take it. No one's coming What's going on the woman just says oh I'm calling calling. I can't even understand her so someone else tells me what she said and then I said, I understand things happen, but to not communicate with me when I have a flight and there's another nail salon a minute away is very frustrating. She's clearly only looking out for herself and trying to make money versus being transparent with me and causing my anxiety to get worn more off the charts. If you have somewhere to be, don't go here because they're gonna tell you they'll see you in five minutes and you're gonna sit and wait for God knows how long. read more

Hands down the worst full set I've ever gotten. First off she superglued my skin to the artificial nail and did nothing about it. Then cut my skin while cutting down the nail and didn't even acknowledge it after I pulled back because it hurt. Then during the shaping process, none of them were the same shape and when I asked her to fix it she said there was nothing wrong. Now the polish, after going from no chip to regular because I was not happy with the shape so I wasn't going to pay more for it-she put on a slimy clear coat which I'm sure caused the air bubbles when I went to go dry. So I showed her the air bubbles and she blamed me for touching the table which was not the case bc it was just a single hole in the middle of the nail so it couldn't have been my fault. Overall this place is way overpriced for the bad work that's provided. I would steer clear if you don't want to waste your money. read more

Pay attention to what they charge you. I got a gel set, and my daughter got a full set of acrylics. That was $86. We go back in 2 weeks to get my gel set redone, and a fill for my daughter. Plain white nails. Nothings special. $86. I paid and thought it was high, but I'm new to getting nails done, so I didn't question her. I look into it and I was ripped off! When I go back to get my gels removed, and ask her why I was charged the same amount each time she tells me it's because the acrylics were long and had a design. I show her my daughter's nails- regular plain white. She proceeds to give me $5. So insulting! She takes my gel off and I said you're not gonna charge me for this, right? She says it's $8! I pay her and say I'm never coming back. I was taken advantage of completely. read more

I've been to this spot a few times and finally returned after a year or so.. hasn't changed a bit! Except they got new pedicure massage chairs lol. The ladies there are really nice and talkative, while doing a good job with your nails. I got a basic pedicure (which now they have different packages) and an acrylic fill in with gel color. I payed about $60 which was well worth it for me. I was there for about 2 hours. Plus I'm not sure if they do appointments but they are usually never busy that you wait over an hour. read more

Would not recommend ever. A 15 minute wait turned into more than 30 minutes. The nail tech was nice but did a horrible job on my nails. My middle nail is crooked, there is all sorts of gel powder left under my nails, she didn't clean any of it off from around my nails or cuticles and also managed to cut my pinkie finger with a nasty shaping board that I'm sure has been used on dozens of women, in addition to the major pain in my finger the nails outside of the nice color look shody. I went in there with my mom, asked how long the wait was for a nail dip for me and a full set for my mom. They said they could take me but my mom had to wait 20 minutes. Lady told me the nail dip was $40.00 and I asked if a manicure came included and she said no. That it was $5.00 more but that she would give it to me for free since it's my first time there. The lady was really nice but her work is awful. My thumb nail chipped the same day since she left one side bigger than the other. She seems led to be in a hurry because one of her favorite customers got there and kept asking her when she was going to be finished. My nails are now growing and the part closest to my cuticle is so rough cause the nail dip is so high. She didn't file it down. Meanwhile it took her more than 1 hour to finish... my mom never got sat. Worst customer service ever. read more

I truly hate poor reviews, I feel that pending on the day or the mood of the person writing the review should be taken into consideration. With that said, I had such high hopes for this place! Sadly, it didn't pull through. While removing my callouses they cut my heel. I can't begin to explain how uncomfortable it is for me to now walk... Once I pointed out that my heel was bleeding her response was "your feel are sensitive". Needless to say I will never return and I am highly disappointed. read more

Had a no chip done and only lasted about 1 week and it started chipping away. Not going back there ever again

I came here because it was close to work and the recent reviews sounded great. I made a 5pm appointment for a pedicure. Walked in a few minutes before and see three customers and three technicians. I already know I'm going to wait. I was told to pick a color and sit in the pedicure chair. I sat for about 18 minutes before someone got to me. It took 10 minutes before anyone even filled the water for my feet to soak. WHAT?? At least let my feet soak in the water while I'm waiting. Finally they turned on the water and the lady walks away while I'm having a mini panic attack because of how high it's getting. Thankfully the guy working next to me turned it off. Turns out the guy that turned off my water was the one doing my pedicure. He was great! Super nice, gentle, and kind. No complaints with him. My pedicure was great. And I'll be requesting him next time I come back. It's so hard finding a place that's actually on time and will take you at your appointment time. I wish this was that spot! I'll give this place another shot, mostly because of my technician. Hopefully I don't have to wait as long next time! read more

This place has easily become one of my favorite places. This first time I came during my lunch break and smudged my toes on my way back to work. After work I came to get them fix. The lady didn't charge me to fix it and when I tried to tip her she politely declined. Of course, I came back. Finding a place that does French tip toes well has always been hard for me. I used to really like this place, but the past couple times I've gone there have been awful. I just went to get my eyebrows done Saturday at noon. This is like prime time for a nail salon, and this place was DEAD. Literally not a soul in there other than employees. The lady who did my brows also didn't shape them as nicely as she could have (aka she missed hairs!), and when I asked her to remove them she said she couldn't. (What?!) She also got wax all over my pants by dripping it when she walked from the table to my chair. Also, when I went and got a pedicure in recent months, it was completely smudged and all over my skin! I was not pleased at all with the service not to mention the professionalism. While I was getting my pedicure a women that was getting her manicure done stormed out very upset that the employee actually cut her nails uneven. After the customer was walking out the employee followed her out the door and threw the water from her nails at her. My pedicure was not good at all... I used to go to this nail salon when it was owned by Danny and Loan. I stopped going there when I got multiple infections in my cuticles from them being cut too close.I also stopped when the drama of the place got to be too much. One day Loan had customers waiting and was fighting with her husband (Danny) and refused to walk in the door! One of her customers had to text her to coax her out of the car, Crazy. HORRIBLE!! I went to get my eyebrows waxed and walked out burnt, with uneven eyebows! One was overly arched and the other was almost half gone! I just asked the woman to clean them up and she left me feeling horrible. Needless to say I was furious. Thank god for my bangs or else I'd have to walk around looking surprised all the time. My nails have looked FABULOUS for the past 7 months! I'm so glad that I found Kelly at #1 Nail Spa in Bensenville. My nails have never popped off, Kelly uses "no chip polish" on my gel nails, and there are over 200 colors to choose from! What a treasure to find this place after 5+ years at a different salon that often let me down. My first time going to this place. I thought it would be convenient as it is really close to my job. I have to say that the nail service was VERY DISAPPOINTING. I paid $13 just to get my 'no-chip' color off, and to get a basic manicure. I don't know how some people have the audacity to charge for such bad service. If I had spent just five minutes doing my own nails, I would have done a better job. My nails were left uneven; some are sharp on the edge, some of my cuticles are sticking out; they didn't even get all the color off on one nail!!! I wish I could upload a picture of my nails here so you can take a look at the bad quality. The lady doing my nails paid NO attention to detail, was very distracted, and did a very SLOPPY job.
