I started bleeding and I told her I was and she looked at it, pressed on my big toe and put my foot back in the water and continued. The polish job itself is poor with polish touching my skin.

I went here on a whim a week or so ago because, unbeknownst to me, my usual nail place was on a…read moreseasonal break. Even though it was just over an hour to closing, and there were only two people working at the time, they were able to take me as a walk-in for a regular pedi and no-chip mani. It was your standard clean nail place, and I have no complaints other than it was kinda hot in there that particular day. Tbh, I might actually like Honey Bee better than the place I usually go because pricing is more transparent (and comparable), and I can schedule online, which is something I can't do at my usual place but, as an introvert, something I always wished I could do. I feel like there might be less polish options than other places here, but I get overwhelmed with too many options anyway, so that wasn't really a negative for me. They had OPI, and that's all I needed. I got just a plain no-chip with a party nail, short and square, but from the looks of other photos, it appears they can do some pretty intricate designs as well. I was too nervous to ask for it this time, but I might want to look into that more in the future. Additional points for being close to Target, PetCo, and Jewel, so I can get all my errands completed in one day. I'm pretty sure I'll be back, maybe even as a regular. Apologies for the cringe-worthy feet pic, but if we're gonna do an honest review, we're gonna do an honest review. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The straw that makes me never want to go back is they said they could take me when I went to do a walk in but then they ran out of time because I had gel nail polish that needed to be removed so they asked me to come back. What impressed me most was how gentle and careful she was. There were absolutely no nicks, cuts, or irritation to my skin -- which is rare. And the finishing touch? She massaged my hands with lotion afterward, which made the whole appointment feel relaxing and luxurious instead of rushed. Being from California, I wasn't accustomed to this level of top-notch perfection. I won't be able to come back since I'm not local, but I highly recommend Kelly and truly wish she were closer. If you're lucky enough to live nearby, book with her -- and keep going back. She's the kind of nail tech you don't let go of.

No one's coming What's going on the woman just says oh I'm calling calling. I can't even understand her so someone else tells me what she said and then I said, I understand things happen, but to not communicate with me when I have a flight and there's another nail salon a minute away is very frustrating. She's clearly only looking out for herself and trying to make money versus being transparent with me and causing my anxiety to get worn more off the charts. If you have somewhere to be, don't go here because they're gonna tell you they'll see you in five minutes and you're gonna sit and wait for God knows how long.
