"Anything that can go wrong will go wrong." - Murphy's Law The wife and I used Pack Rat to move a container of belongings from the Bay Area to Southern California. We went with Pack Rat because they were slightly cheaper than PODS and because their customer service was very helpful when we called with initial questions. Their drivers were equally helpful, and they sent us a message the day before pickup and dropoff, respectively, giving us a window for arrival. Where things went wrong was after the container had been picked up and shipped down to SoCal. We got a notification that our container had been damaged in a forklift accident. Fearing the worst, we called customer service and the agent, after some investigation, informed us that our container was at the Van Nuys facility and the contents needed to be unloaded and transferred to a new container due to the original container having been damaged. Fortunately for us, it seemed like the contents were fine. When we were ready to receive the container at our new house a few weeks later, we called again and were told that the facility had marked our move as complete with the contents to be picked up by the customer. Fortunately, the agent was able to work with the people there to get the matter straightened out and get the container delivered. The facility had coded up the delivery as a new local move which generated new fees, but the agent recognized the error and got those fees removed. When the container was delivered, I found the stuff inside packed haphazardly. All the careful packing I had done had gone out the window when the crew transferred our stuff. But aside from some old drawers that were nearly falling apart and a scuff on a bike, our stuff was intact and in the same condition. Our long-distance move included insurance, but I don't know how helpful it would've been, since you need to provide information about when you purchased the item when making a claim. Who keeps track of all that? Major kudos to Laura, the agent we talked to each time we called after the container incident. She really came through for us, and if it wasn't for her, our experience would've been a nightmare to navigate. In the end, all's well that ends well. read more

This was easily one of the most convenient moves I've ever had to do I simply called up scheduled by drop off time and made sure I was there for the drop off they were right on time and even very accommodating to my schedule changes.. Such a disappointment! Well, I shouldn't assume. If you like no tech support (my password wouldn't work and they "sent" me a reset link that never arrived- tried for a week, inability to reach customer service (I am, as I write this, 27 minutes into what they said would be over a 1 hour wait to speak to an agent. Last week, I received a call back in 2 hours and 8 minutes; today the call back "feature" simply loops you back to the original voicemail), an online scheduling system that doesn't allow you to fully schedule your services (it would not allow me to enter a city or zip code where I wanted my full container to be delivered nor allow me to schedule for the emptied container to be picked up) despite saying this could and Should all be done online (hence the phone calls), then this place is for you!!! Otherwise, it is a very poorly run company. Pay the small amount more for the other company. Life is too short to be treated like this. read more

Terrible customer service their container can hold maybe 2 1/2 rooms in the 16 footer their lies saying it can hold four bedrooms. When I scheduled everything they were nice, but after that customer service was terrible. One Star - This is the company for you if you are looking for these Top 4 things: 1 - As soon as they take your money the communication ceases 2 - When you do call for updates their employees lie about the location of your container 3 - Don't actually believe the employee when they schedule day/time for pickup and drop off 4 - They prefer to point fingers at other departments within the company rather then owning their mistakes, apologizing and providing alternative solutions like refunds or expedited support! Paid to have our container moved from Los Angeles, CA to Tampa, FL They messed up the pick up in LA, called and the 'system' dropped the pick up date so they had to come out two days later then the original agreement but was told container would arrive in Florida 7-10 days later. Roughly 2 weeks go by - no call, no updates - so we call and are told the container has made it Tampa and to call back in a day to schedule drop off. We call back as told -- Container IS NOT IN TAMPA! 20 days go by from new start frame and finally the container is ready for drop off, we agree to AM time slot because we had to schedule with our landlord to make space available - we were told if we do not receive a call from the driver by 8am to call for status update... 815am call the # and was told we chose 'anytime drop off' - another 'system' issue. Finally in the afternoon the driver comes and lets me know 'were lucky to have even had a drop-off today' - Wow. My family will never use packrat again, my friends and relatives have been warned. My pod was picked up 11 days late. I paid extra to have it delivered in the morning time frame, did not happen. Sitting here on day 3 of being in my apartment with no furniture. WARNING, the company does NOT let you cancel a booking to move via their app NOR can you cancel without having to talk to at least 2 people (including the loyalty department who then has to process the cancelation within 24 hours). In looking for moving and storage the sales team couldn't have been any greater! But setting up the delivery is the most difficult experience! I was left on hold as everyone left I'm assuming. They returned my call at 6pm from 2pm. I was told wait time was over and hour and they'd call me back. They called back at 6pm only to put me on hold. I finally hung up at 9pm. Do not use Zippy Shell/1 800 Packrat for loading, moving, storage or unloading. You will be dealing with multiple sub contractors, franchisees and dishonest people.l We were charged an extra $1,000 for 10 additional hours of labor in excess of the contracted 6 hours for two containers. The documentation they submitted had no entries in start time/stop time, quantity or customer initials. Also they wrap the steel mesh container in plastic that allows dirt on your items - It is like they left the container in a dirt field. Lastly their contract laborers are not experienced movers and they only want to deliver the goods, at the new location. They actually told us they were not really movers! If I could leave ZERO stars I would! Packrat as a whole company is not reliable and has no initiative to make it right! They forgot to schedule our 2nd container even though it was in our notes and emails. They tried to tell us it would be another 4 weeks. They reluctantly scheduled it for the next day and it never showed up. No phone call or nothing. We had to call and finally was told the forklift was down and they would "try" to have it fixed soon. FOUR DAYS LATER, still no news. We paid $6,000 and moved 2,000 miles from home to not have half our stuff for 5 days total. They didn't try anything and kept telling us no update on the forklift. So, after 4 days we ended up having to find our own truck and coming to their warehouse and getting the stuff ourself. Guess what they did?!?! Refunded us $100. That's it for all our trouble. Absolutely nightmare of a company!! We were scheduled to have our containers moved from Colorado to South Carolina we got online and noticed the address was wrong so we called to get it fixed in October. They said it was fixed. Nearly two weeks later we look online again and yet again they have the information wrong! We spent another hour on the phone to fix all our deliveries they said it's fixed. Well another two weeks and four days before we move in we decide to check online just to be sure. Well it's wrong again so we call again and they said it's fixed. The day of our closing it is dropped in a complete other state. Which they said is our fault and refuse to fix or help us and charged us an additional $600 to drop them at the correct address five days later. The management was a nightmare to deal with they supposedly checked our recordings and swear we continually gave them the wrong address but refuse to allow us to hear them for ourselves. If I could give zero stars I would. They messed our delivery for our containers from moving from the Midwest to CA. Both of our container were supposed to be delivered on the same day, then because of a mess up on their end, our second container was not scheduled to be delivered. We had to call customer service and they said they would deliver it the next day from the original delivery date. The next day comes and their forklift "broke". They didn't tell us this themselves, we had to call and ask for an ETA several times and had to make all the follow up calls. They would not refund us for the supplies we had to buy because of their original scheduling mistake, which made us deal with the broken forklift situation. We've asked to come to the facility to get our things out, but they won't reimburse us for the U-Haul even though they have no idea when their forklift will be back up. It's been 3 days and we STILL don't have our second container. Their customer service gives us the run around each time we try to contact them. read more

This company is also known as Zippy Shell. They failed to pick up our container despite us confirming multiple times that yes, it's ready for pickup. The pod was shipped to the wrong state and the customer service either didn't know or refused to tell us where it was. Then, it was stuck at a local warehouse because they were overbooked and couldn't deliver it. At no point would they give us an arrival estimate, which meant we had to book and cancel movers multiple times. We paid $4,000 and received $400 back after the debacle. read more

Day the container was supposed to arrive, we received a confirmation call that it would be there between 4-6p. 6p comes & goes - no container, no email, no phone call. When we reached out, the agent told us they had no update from the warehouse and they could still show up. Saturday morning - no email, no phone call. We spent ALL DAY calling Pack Rat for updates. Eventually we were told the truck went down and the soonest they could get us a container would be TEN DAYS from our original booking date. Um - we have to close on our house and be out based on the original date we gave you, so that's not going to work. Negotiated to get it sooner, still four days later than we planned after pushing and demanding a supervisor. Still didn't hold my breath, and I'm glad I didn't... Day before the container is supposed to arrive we get a call that they RAN OUT OF CONTAINERS. This is your entire business, how does that happen? Pay extra and work with PODs or literally anyone else. This company has no regard for timelines and the delicate dance of dates and services that go into a cross-country move. We had to book a truck and drive ourselves in the end... at least we know our stuff will get where it needs to go. read more

Two words - hidden fees. They charge you to rent the box that they've already charged you to move. It's an insanely high rental fee of $300/mo for an 8x8 box. They do not "lock in" the moving cost. It's a made up number that can only go up when "recalculated." It's easy to be price competitive upfront, but difficult to keep to your contract. The box is a steel structure with corrugated steel walls (with punctures). Not using again. I'd prefer UPACK. read more

However, after using for over a year and being charged $350.00/container (had 2), I called for a pickup of the last empty and since I was a day late with the call, I am being charged the FULL amount. The local facility would not make the drive because it was considered "long distance" so they had to call the outside service facility to backhaul and pick up the container because that's where the service area was LMAO! They're great selling you the pods! BEAWARE they have two departments the selling department and the service department when you call. You get the selling Department right away and they will sell you whatever it is you need so it's five star service at that point. Once they have your reservation and cc you need to go to the service department for everything else. I have never gotten through on that phone line the first time around. They have a call back option since their service department is so overrun with customers. And I have tried that one several times and only got a call back once. So if you hang on and wait on the phone your AVERAGE wait time is almost 2 hours if not more. That is beyond unacceptable for any service department in any service category. I gave them two stars one because the selling part is actually good. And the second star because the people at the Garden Grove Warehouse are actually extremely nice when they come out and put the containers down and pick them up. Seriously, I will never use these people again. I even called and ask to speak to a manager when my phone call went over 2 hours. You know what they did ...... I KID YOU NOT....they transferred me to the service manager where I got the same call waiting message that I am on hold with and that I can leave my phone number for a call back..... you can't even get a hold of a manager when you have an issue! ZERO STARS!! PackRat charges top dollar for the poorest customer service imaginable. At every point during the process, PackRat failed to provide proper customer service. Pay for a lock and moving blankets? I show up to load shipping container and there is no lock and there is not a single moving blanket available to use. Assured that the container will be delivered in a two week time frame? Container arrives one week later than planned and it takes daily phonecalls to check the delivery status since they can't contact you to let you know it's arrived. You have to keep calling them to determine when your container has arrived. Call a day before to confirm that shipping container is outside on the ground ready to be unloaded? Arrived at facility the next day with movers and moving truck and my shipping container was no where to be found. The warehouse workers had no clue where my container was, so I had to walk all around the outside and inside of the warehouse in order for me to find the container myself. Then I have to wait for the only forklift operator to return from lunch before my container can be placed somewhere for me to unload. Almost two hours wasted. I spent more time tracking down and waiting for my shipping container to be put on the ground to be unloaded than I did actually unloading the container. I waited for three weeks to be contacted on this debacle, but never received a call back. Then I finally decide to call and follow up only to then be reprimanded by a PackRat Supervisor that I should stop calling to ask for a 'credit' because they refuse to issue any credits. I would never use their services again. PackRat failed at ever single point in the process (load, transit, unload). I can understand that mistakes happen, but gross negligence and abysmal customer service should never be tolerated, especially when you are chastised for complaining about bad customer service. It's now Aug 2 and we STILL don't have our things. My wife and I run a small business and a month of zero income has really started to take a toll on our lives. Our customers have been waiting a very long time for their products Thankfully they've been very understanding and patient, but it hurts us financially every day our things aren't here. We've literally lost thousands of dollars because of 1-800-Pack-Rat. I can honestly say I thought I was saving money by going with them, but we've lost out on more money because of them. If you own your own business, please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. The monetary loss is absolutely gutting and they'll create more headaches, stress and frustration. We've lost so much money because of them, it's definitely not going to save you money in the long run. Trust us. Heck, ask the people protesting at their Los Angeles warehouse. Absolutely the worse moving experience I've ever had. We recently moved from CA to TX and they kept making last minute changes to my deliveries. The day I was scheduled to fly out, I was informed that my containers would not arrive for a week. I had to make several housing and travel changes to accommodate the new delivery date. On the day of the delivery, one container arrived and I was told the other two were on their way and would arrive within 45 minutes. I gave them a call 4 hours later and was told they would arrive soon. Finally, at the 8.5 hour mark, I received a text stating that they would be schedule for another day. When I spoke to a supervisor, I was told there was nothing they could do. My bed, clothes, and work materials are in those containers. I am currently sleeping on an air mattress in an empty home. Additionally, I am unable to work because my equipment is not here. I STRONGLY advise you to use a DIFFERENT service. I will never work with them again. They are very undependable and unwilling to own up to their mistakes. Very unprofessional. read more

Went from 5 stars to 1 star in the matter of a month. We had a scheduled move from LA to Miami (ended up changing it to Vegas) they ended up charging us HALF of the rate it would have been to Miami. For anyone who doesn't know, LA to Miami is across the whole country, LA to Vegas is a 4 hour drive so it's insane that the moving costs were half when it was no where near half the distance. We needed to store the container for 4 months (they charged $310 a month to store) we initiated our move at the end of Sept and they ended up charging us another $310 for the whole month of October. We called to get the charge refunded since we already initiated our move, moved in, and sent the container back. They vehemently denied us and offered no solution after being on the phone for an hour. To squeeze the extra $310 out of us after paying almost $5k for this move was one step too far. The opportunity cost of a good review, word of mouth recommendation to other potential future customers, and for us to use them again incredibly outweighs the cost of them refunding us the $310. Overall how they handled the situation left a horrible taste in mouths and we will never be using them again. Hope they enjoy that $310! read more

Beware: changed my new location by 3 miles, and the price went up $300. Escalated to manager, who gave a completely different explanation on that. Said she would look into it and get back to me. She didn't call so I followed up, no record of my conversation in system, so started again. A 3rd explanation for the increase in price. Dispatch was incredibly rude, and made a lot of very personal (screaming baby, sister died, off work, cant do paperwork on Saturday) Dispatch confirmed appx 1pm delivery at 11am. Said I needed to be home, which was not the agreement when I booked them. So I canceled my work plans and returned home. At 2, I contacted dispatch, and learned that driver was heading to Big Bear for another delivery instead of coming my way... they could have told me that. Said driver would be there at 6. Driver was great. Hes the only reason they got 2 stars. He didnt arrive until 1030pm but was in contact with me, shared his status, was professional and helpful. His reasons made sense. Ordered a 16 foot self storage container to be delivered this morning. Received no contact from corporate office or local office regarding time of delivery. I had scheduled two handyman movers to help with moving heavy furniture and boxes into the storage container. Helpers arrived at seven in the morning, and a friend of mine took a day off from work to help me pack this container. Then two hours later, I got a text message stating they're having problems with delivery and that they're rescheduling for tomorrow. Henceforth, I have just wasted a friends day off and he can't help me tomorrow and I had to pay $200 bucks for two movers that did nothing ..and they're not sure if they can come back tomorrow because they have other jobs.... Called corporate office and got stuck in there nightmare phone tree with no personal contact. DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT ever use this company they are a nightmare! read more

I have been renting a POD for 10 months now did not know that you had to call prior to your anniversary date to let them know that you needed the POD picked up. If you do not call prior they charge you for an entire month, even though they say they prorate 7 days...but only if you call first. I called today and I am within the 7 day period after my anniversary date but they would not work with me at all. I have to pay for another full month even though I will not be using the POD. I would say a good company that cares about their customers would work with them and charge by the day in situations like this. Would not recommend or use them again. Ervin the driver delivered the storage pod to the wrong location. He blocked in a dumpster in the driveway for a demo job I'm doing. Called him and asked him to come back and move it to the place where I originally asked for it to be placed. Basically said it wasn't his problem. I asked him how I was supposed to get the dumpster out from behind the storage pod. Once again, not his problem. I asked for his boss's contact. I then called Luis and explained the situation. He told me that he was doing something in his backyard and didn't have time to go to his computer to fix the situation. I will not ever use this service again. Used this company when I sold my home and used their storage location to hold my items until I purchased my new home out of state. Advised the company that I will need the container to be delivered to my final destination out of state. They said it was no problem and they have multiple locations to serve me. Well, I purchased my new home in Nevada and contacted 1800-Packrat to set up a date to have my container delivered. To my disappointment I was told they don't deliver to my new address and now I have to figure out how to get all my stuff out of their container in Garden Grove, and find a long distance mover to transfer all of my furniture to my new home. If I knew they couldn't deliver the container to my new home I would not have wasted my time with Packrat. Make sure you get a guarantee they will deliver your container to your new home. I chose PackRat because it could bring a container on short notice. After being told how sturdy the containers were and how that came with tie downs inside and held more weight than others, I was delivered a container that had torn loose rubber weather strips hanging and holes in the sides and dents everywhere. It was easy to see the containers are used very roughly during transport. I had to ask for another unit because it was unsafe to keep my things in and PackRat doesn't cover damage from water or rain at all. The driver delivered a different unit and told me the thought the other one was fine and didn't hide his upset that he had to get me a new container. It is worthwhile noting that the delivery of this unit was 4 hours late. When time to pick the unit up, the same driver calls and said he attempted a pickup but that the container was overweight. I had been here the entire time and never received a courtesy call or a knock on my door. I received a call after the delivery time window had passed during which he told me that he came to pick up the container and that it was too heavy. He claims he has a photo of the scale reading but refused to send it and refused to tell me exactly how much overweight we were. He told me he didn't do courtesy calls and that I should call 1800Packrat and tell them how things really worked. I called and complained and asked again for the weight so I would know how much weight to remove and the company still refuses to tell me or send me the photo. I have serious doubts he came at all. Today was supposed to be the second attempt at a pick up and I was told I'd get a courtesy call this time and, received none and had to call twice to get a delivery window. I just received a call saying that the truck has broken down and won't be coming at all. Apparently there is only one truck for this part of Los Angeles County. I was promised a call from a supervisor or manager, but that hasn't happened either. The sales people you reach are very nice. The customer service people are very nice. The problem is that they say they'll contact the local office and then it's out of their hands. So no one takes real responsibility and passes the buck on. Every promise made on the phone has been broken. I highly recommend steering clear of this company. If you are in a time crunch with moving, you're still better off waiting for a dependable company to do the job on time and done right than to have it delayed by substandard damaged poor equipment, and unmotivated employees who refuse to honor the policies of their company. I'm moving from CA to TX. In Aug, I requested a quote from PODS & Pack Rat. A Pack Rat Rep called me right away & never heard from PODS. I spent a long time on the phone with Steve from Pack Rat as he answered many questions regarding my move. I had to get clarification on some questions a couple times & he was very patient & explained everything in detail until I fully understood everything about the Pack Rat moving process. He gave me quotes for 1 & 2 units as we didn't know how many units we would need. I also didn't know when we needed the units dropped off bc our house wasn't even on the market yet. I called in Aug & we set the drop-off date for Dec. He assured me that we could change the date at any time. He sent confirmations via email & answered more questions as they came up. He was very quick to respond via email &/or phone. Our home sold quickly & we rescheduled a drop off date for the first unit. That was so easy! As we filled our unit quickly, we knew we needed a second unit so I emailed the same day requesting a drop-off the next day. No problem once again! We had two units on our driveway & requested a Sat pick-up. Both units dropped off & picked up exactly when we requested. Working with Steve at Pack Rat was great. He was there for us every step of the way & made us feel confident that our belongings were in great hands. Our units will be in storage in TX until Dec or Jan. I will update my review when our units are delivered. So far, moving with Pack Rat has been very pleasant & easy. I highly recommend using Pack Rat for your moving needs! Update- We closed escrow on our new home Thanksgiving weekend & ended up in TX sooner than expected. I emailed Steve, my contact at Pack Rat, to request a delivery date for both of our units. It was set up quickly & I received a phone call to confirm delivery of our units. They were dropped off in the morning & picked up 2 days later as scheduled. This company has been so easy to work with. I would definitely use them again & I highly recommend this professional company. And...we've unpacked all of our fragile stuff & not one item was broken. read more

The only positive experience with this company is the customer service associates that pick up when you call - they are polite and helpful. But is that really enough? I rented a storage container with this company for a few years, and had to deal with misquotes off the bat, then multiple billing errors & rent increases. The few times recently I needed to access the storage container, there were incompetent and patronizing, sexist on-site warehouse staff who half the time didn't have the container out & ready even though the company requires 48 hours notice. Their excuses were unbelievable. - 'It was getting crowded out there' after I waited 2 hours in front of a locked office, left multiple messages and wandered through their open warehouse. - 'Someone might get into it' (my locked container, at noon with multiple staff milling around that day and a dozens of other containers out, where if you sign a waiver they will leave it out overnight Saturday & Sunday nights because the office & warehouse are closed on Sundays). And here it is, my favorite: - 'Trust me, it's better this way. IT'S FOR YOUR OWN GOOD.' 'Nuff said. Do yourself a favor and hire a more professional and competent crew to deal with your possessions. Pay extra for a storage facility that gives you 24 hour access for convenience with cameras so that you feel safe and are not subjected to these kinds of idiots. Sorry about the bleak review. When speaking to all their customer reps they all said that they deal with so many complaints on a daily basis. They did not in any way stick to the schedule the pod was delivered late and then stood in the street for 7 days. Did not arrive on time in GA 4 days late then told they could not pick it up from my sons house for 3 weeks. This company should not be allowed to operate and take peoples money. Worst customer service ever. I called to place an order. That was easy. I called to clarify on my order. 30 minute hold. I called to modify my order. 30 minute hold. I called to ask another question about my order. 30 minute hold. I called to try to modify my order again. 30 minute hold. Guy couldn't help me, said he would transfer me to someone else directly. But I had to wait another 40 minutes. So fed up by all the holds I asked to cancel. Got transferred again and held for another 30 minutes. Guy who finally answered said he'd cancel and I'd get a confirmation email of cancellation in a day. It's been two weeks and still no confirmation of cancellation. I've called twice and put on hold for 30 minutes-1 hour, each time with someone telling me it's coming. They don't respond to voice messages or emails either, so I'm forced to call and hold. I've already wasted 4 hours of my life listening to the same 3 minute Mozart sonatina hold music, if I have to hear it again I will go crazy. Pack rat is like hotel California, you can check out but you can never leave. Update: finally got ahold of someone over the phone. They told me that in fact my order had NOT been canceled, despite previous people's assurances that it had. This person also guaranteed I would get a cancellation confirmation within 24 hours. This review is for Pack Rat company - This is an edit/update to the review below. 1-800Pack Rat responded to my inquiry and was able to provide some back up to the charges that were in excess of the original cost. Bottom line that everyone needs to understand is that because of the higher price of diesel fuel currently, you will without a doubt be charged a fuel surcharge. Your move WILL cost more. They will NOT communicate this to you in advance, they will just charge your card, so you need to budget it in! The issue with me is that they failed at being able to explain the cost difference on at least 2 inquiries. 1-800-Pack Rat billed our credit card $700 over the quoted price of the move. I went online to look at the billing on my account however they do not post any detailed billing in your account info. So I contacted an agent by phone and I was informed that it was an error, and they would credit my account with the $700. Not seeing the credit after a couple weeks, I called back 2 more times and was told the same thing by different agents. After another 2 weeks I contacted the company via on line chat. I was told there would not be any refund because the $700 was for an expedited delivery (which I did not request). They said the agents were confused...? Then I was told I was not actually charged for an expedited delivery but there would be no refund because the charges were for the fuel surcharge. I was well aware of this possibility but was not informed in any way that my card would be automatically charged for any amount. Nor was I provided an itemized breakdown of the additional costs before my card was charged. I have been told I need to wait a couple of business days to see the itemized receipt. BEWARE!! They will bait and switch pricing on you. They did it to me not only once, but twice. I booked a container to ship from California to Florida. I received a respectable price in the beginning. We were unable to move to the address I originally planned. I called in to put my order on hold and was specifically told that I could change the location and keep my price. I asked specifically if this could be done. I call back to update my address and to my surprise, the "order has been canceled". Where is the email that says my order has been canceled?! After finally getting a "manager", I was informed they only hold it for so long. There is a specific window of time. I ask, "what is that specific window of time?" The manager is unable to answer what that window is, only deflects to the loyalty team. So I guess the loyalty team has more seniority than the manager. This was after 2 requests of call backs from managers and an associate who kept insisting that I cancelled the order myself. Being over half way through the moving process I have no choice but to book my move for $1,300 more than my original price. I'm sure you can guess they pulled the "covid" card as an excuse. WHAT A JOKE! I'm notified at that time I will get a call from the manager to work with me on pricing, but guess what - no calls. HERES the kicker!! They take it upon themselves to charge whatever they want for "ADDITIONAL FUEL & TRANSPORT COSTS"!! They added almost $500 extra dollars to my credit card. Don't you think you should notify your customer of something like this? Do you get a notice before hand or a breakdown of the charges?! Hell even after the fact would be nice. Heck no!!
