SoCal Self Storage is by far the best renters experience I've had. The Manager Glenn is awesome to work with. I didn't know what size unit I needed. "No problem. Bring your stuff in. We'll figure out which unit is best for you and then we'll do the paperwork." Every other storage place would want a downpayment, or hold fee on the unit. Glenn had the elevator and dollys standing by and ready for when I showed up and helped me into the unit. You may pay a little more than the bigger name brand places but you will not find the same friendly service. The customer service is worth a few extra dollars per a month. It's also very convenient right on Ventura Blvd vs going into a secluded industrial park.

Many U-Haul rental places won't allow you to leave your car there but offer parking. Daniel the manager was so kind, the truck was super clean and the gas tank higher than what he expected me to bring it back in. I was a sliver under the three quarter mark when I brought it back and he didn't charge me, very gracious service! I highly recommend them for U-Haul rentals!
