I couldn't hear much of what he says. When he spoke a wee bit louder, he mumbled more, and I still couldn't hear him. He called on for his coworker to assist him, and he was much more helpful. Thanks dude. Other than that, a good amount of people comes to this location. Many chairs and tables, but the restrooms are downstairs of the Toyo Mall. The last time I went, there were no toilet papers, so you obviously have to bring your own tissue. I don't recall elevators here... I've only seen stairs and escalators. I'm not 100% sure.

It had been so long since I had had a good burger and of one that reminded me of In-N-Out in California. Their burgers are really one of the best in Hong Kong and while is on the pricier side, is most definitely worth it. The ingredients making up the burger are especially fresh, from the beef patty, to the lettuce and onions. The cheese sauce on the fries was well seasoned (it wasn't just melted cheese) and the Apple pie iced tea was surprisingly refreshing and definitely suitable for the autumn season. The price of a standard burger on average will set you at least HK$100 alone, add some fries to share and a drink, and you're looking at a HK$200 meal easily. Not quite what some people might have in mind for "fast food". But a treat once in a while is well deserved. I can't wait to try the chili fries next time!

Really fatty and delicious. The Honbo burger is analogous to a double double you would get at in and out. The normal party is cut in half and you get two patties. There is more contact with the grill which leads to more browning and deliciousness. The Apple pie ice tea here is really great. They add an Apple slice that is browned w/ cinnamon. It really does give the tea an apple pie tint and is also not too sweet. If you are looking for a good burger I would come here. Not a lot of seating so not meant for a big party, but the times I've been seating hasn't been an issue.

After going down the stairs there's McCafé or regular McDonald's to choose from. You can either order what you want from the many kiosks or order from a staff. On this particular occasion I went with the Matcha Red Bean Layer Cake and Soy Milk Matcha. There's a deal when you order a large drink plus a cake that the layer cake drops from $29 to $18. I like that I was able to pay with my Octopus (transportation card, like the Presto in the GTA) so that I didn't have to look for the correct amount of change. The layer cake tasted of match but it was a very subtle flavour. The red beans were a nice addition. The soy milk matcha had a heavier flavour of matcha and was quite smooth. When I sat down I noticed that there's wireless chargers on the tops of the high top tables as well as USB ports on the side. I wasn't able to connect to WiFi this time but I appreciate being able to charge my phone after taking lots of photos during the day.

I got a earl grey tea latte (HK$26) from McCafe which was enjoyably dreamy and frothy. There isn't enough seating here. The McCafe seating area is rather small and I did not see any seating on the McDonald's side either. Thus I had to venture into the food court to find a seat. If you decide to visit this location on the weekends, expect long lines and likely a wait for a seat. If you can't stand waiting, get takeout and find a seat in the food court. Though again there may be limited seating there too, especially if you need a large table for a group.

Breakfast in Hong Kong…read more.. We saw McDonald's across the street from our hotel and decided to dine here! We ordered at the kiosk because the McDonald's app didn't work. We stood in line to pay at the counter. Service was efficient - especially with a long line and just one cashier! There were many seating options: small tatables, high tops, and long, separated tables. The lighting was muted. There was pleasant Chinese pop music playing in the background! I got the combo meal: grilled chicken pasta with tomato soup and Hot Lemon Tea. It came with hash browns - the regular type that you get in the USA. The curly pasta was good! It wasn't mushy! The tomato soup was on the watery side, but tasted great and had some corn kernels in it! The grilled chicken was challenging to eat. I pierced it with a fork and took a bite... I need a fork! It had some kick to it, but was tender with a bit of gristle. The tea was very dark and strong... it helped me Kickstart my day! Happy Sunday! This was our first meal in Hong Kong!

Nothing like the familiarity of our McDonald's though here in Hong Kong the varieties for breakfast alone is pretty impressive, wished I took pics of the menu but today it was the simple Luncheon Meat McMuffin which replaced the Canadian bacon for a thick cut of luncheon meat. Very mild and delicate nothing like spam which is very salty and I really enjoyed every single bite. They do have breakfast Happy Meal as well which I believe are pancakes but why don't we have this in the states...ordering is by kiosk only though you have the option of card payment T the kiosk or cash at the counter. Access is by stairs only which is my only complain but with lots of seating and fast service it's a great option to start your day on a friendly and yummy budget. Thank you!
