Pro: It's a freaking McDs, 24 hours, same old food that won't kill you
Con: It's a bit busy, thus ran down... the food may kill you after all.
This is a fast food joint in the eating capital of the world, speed is key, not for the flavor. I can get a bowl of Michelin rated noodles or duck for a cheaper meal than this place in HK, so don't whine about McD food.
That said, I am kind of worried about the convector belt that brings the food down from upstairs. Yes, the kitchen is on the 2nd floor and food magically drop down to the first floor. This place was crazy busy and the belt system looked like it have seen better days, since the McD is 24 hours, I really doubt that system gets cleaned that often.
The menu is different from the USA stuff. Noodle soup for the morning, peppered Big Mac with chips in the normal hours.
Try a McD for the cultural experience, it doesn't even have to be this location. read more
