The Hot-Star franchise is alive and well ... in Hong Kong no less. Now Taiwanese fried chicken can be added to the long list of delicious things to eat in the neighborhood.
I personally enjoy rocking a nice chicken cutlet (雞排) for a quick bite and it's large enough to serve as a good sized snack. For the less gluttonous eaters, it's an easy meal in itself. It costs $20HKD and is breaded and seasoned quite well. While it reminds me a lot of the ones I've had in Taiwan, it doesn't quite replace the nostalgia but it'll do just fine.
For folks preferring a smaller option, there are the chicken nugget sized equivalents as well, which range from $30-$50 depending on size. As always, long wooden picks are included not to get one's hands dirty, because this stuff is uber greasy. For sharing amongst hungry friends, this is the way to go.
