Pepper Lunch here is probably the most popular stall - there is no escaping the beautiful peppery smell that wafts in the air! The Thai food stall serves good pad Thai and is extremely generous with portions - I ordered it once and could only finish a little more than half of it. The Korean stall has a good variety of stone pot rice, and Triple O's beats burgers from McDonald's and Burger King any day. It might be hard to find a seat here during peak hours, but that is expected of any food courts. It's especially difficult if you're a big group, as most of the tables are just right to sit four. The staff that clear your trays are especially nice here and always have a smile on their faces. The egg is softly cooked, and it has some sweet soy sauce as well, making it an extra yummy dish. Many folks also opt to add chili oil to it, but if you also ordered the signature rice noodles, which is quite spicy, then you won't need to. The signature rice noodles has tons of bean sprouts and quite a bit of dried shrimp, which is nice considering you're at a fishing harbour! The Hong Kong milk tea is quite good as well. Service is quick and the joint is very spartan. The real surprise is the price. Including my hot lemon drink, total paid was only 32 HKD. Thats why I gave it 4 stars even though the food is only 3 stars. A definite recommed for a bit of local color off the beaten tourist path. The retaurant is in a maze of shops and homes. Use GPS or you will get lost in this labyrinth. It is really fun to explore this labyrinth after your meal.

Apart from the cuts of meat you order directly from the staff, you pick up other vegetables / mushrooms / carbs (udon/ramen/vermicelli/noodles) from the buffet area. For dessert, they also have a soft serve machine along with a slew of toppings. They are very strict on the meal time allocations (90 minutes), regardless of whether the restaurant is full and if there are folks waiting. They aren't pushy though, and just give you your bill 15 minutes prior to the time limit. I have found that if you eat at a consistent pace and don't just talk over the meal, the time is plenty and you'll definitely be full afterwards.

When it came time to order, the waitress informed the table of a lucky dice shake. "Like" the restaurant on Facebook for one shake, prizes include free food or discount off the bill. First course or "appetiser" was some Korean side dishes, the usual fermented or sour vegetables. Next came the all you can eat clams for 30 minutes. Ordered the Seoul Tower which consisted of seven layers. Each layer consisted of seafood and some vegetables. As the temperature hits 90 Celsius, it was time to dig in. It was recommended that each layer should be finished in 5 minutes and move onto the next or else there's a chance of overlooking the remaining levels. A metal bowl with a lid was provided to keep the unfinished food in so it would be possible to move on to the next level. The seafood was not seasoned or marinated, everything was in the most natural state so their true flavours would be the star. Two sauces were provided for dipping. Everything sort of tasted similar after a while. The seafood was fresh and flavourful on its own. The cheese balls which was first mistaken for as fish balls were a weird combination with the rest of the food. Felt American while everything else was Korean. The other shop that serves ice cream would be the one in Ma On Shan. They got two flavours, green tea and oolong tea, for us to choose from. If you have never tried their ice cream, I highly recommend the oolong tea ice cream. It tastes really special, literally like iced oolong tea! You need to try it! P.S. Drinks run to about $13-28. I ordered the green tea with honey. A very simple drink, but it was very good. Sometimes, although you order a honey drink, they just add sugar. Not at Ten Ren! I saw with my own eyes the barista add a generous dosage of honey into my drink. He then mixed it well, added ice, and then put it in the blender for a few seconds. The drink had a very strong tea aroma. You could also taste the honey well. Even when the ice melted a little, the tea flavor was still very good! Great place for any sort of tea.
