We ordered the Brown Sugar Deerioca Milk (you can only get 2 of these/person) since this was the most popular drink I decided to order it. Once I started to drink it, it literally tasted like regular milk but it wasn't anything amazing. (I have yet to taste China's/HK's milk but MAYBE this milk taste better than the other milks they're selling?) the tapioca was average. Anyway waited in line for about 30 minutes for a cup of milk with tapioca, not worth it sorry T^T

The milk was very smooth and the pearls were chewy. The taste was very similar to the same drink at The Alley. I appreciated how the brown sugar mixed easily with the milk (some places have overly thick brown sugar syrup). The sweetness was at a good level. Overall, the wait was very short probably only because it was in the middle of a week day. The store is on the first floor so it was easily accessible. It was a little small but there were some elevated tables so people could lean against them but there was no seating. I haven't tried many bubble tea places in Hong Kong but compared to those in LA, Yi Fang was not bad! I would def come back and explore some of their other fruit tea options!

To their credit, they have a lot of business here and they churn out those drinks quickly. There were a lot of people here, mostly waiting for their drinks. They have the brown sugar boba series, so I went for the Brown Sugar Boba Milk. I took it back to the hotel to drink and it went by quickly (get the large size I guess). Thing is for me, it's immensely sweet. Like insanely sweet. (I guess that's good because you get to taste the brown sugar?) so I would guess next time I would get it as half sweet if that's possible. The milk tea in itself tasted just alright haha. Their boba is pretty good though - comes out piping hot and chewy. Price for one of the drinks is $30HKD.

My favorite thus far is the Roasted Oolong with the cream cheese foam top. I asked for 0% sugar and less ice so that I could taste the contrast between the smooth cheese and the bittersweet Oolong tea. I do appreciate the design of the Cha Long cups that makes it easier to drink the cheese top drinks, which has now become an art form. The starting price of HK$30 is a little steep, I'll admit, but you won't be disappointed.

Comparing Ten Ren tea drinks in Northern (and Southern) California to this Hong Kong location: Prices in Hong Kong are dirt cheap in comparison, nothing really above US$2 on average. Quality is easily x2 to x3 than that in NorCal (and quite possibly SoCal) Thus we pay x2 to x3 as much at 1/2 to 1/3 of the quality, bottom line. Employees are very efficient. A ten minute wait for a drink after paying, is considered a hellish wait even if the line seems long. Even if one of the employees is slacking off, he or she is washing/rinsing cups or blender vats in one hand, and surfing social media/checking texts with the other. Multi-task slacking and getting drinks out the door. And some of you out there have no qualms about 1.5 hour wait for ramen (or a food truck), or 45 minutes for a watered down tapioca milk tea drink. Sigh. This Ten Ren also has a limited selection of imported Taiwanese tea, tea snacks. Octopus (MTR/subway/public transportation) cards accepted for payment (stored value card). You can sip on your drink while browsing books and magazines in Eslite bookstore. Honey green tea, some matcha based drinks, even a classic like Chrysanthemum Pu-Er, are all very good. Honey green tea, even if semi diluted, is still better than the crap in the States....the Wattes....(like Lattes in coffee shops, except Watte is water with a shot of tea).
