It is still in the same location as it's previous life and conveniently located right off the Shek Mun MTR Station. The lines are usually quite long and you have to grab a number by the entrance to queue up. Shatin Cafe has great weekly lunch deals that come with a hot drink, which can also be upgraded to a cold drink for just +6HKD. The menu is vast with food items ranging from an all day breakfast (toast, western toast, eggs, buns,) to stir fried dishes, from oven-baked meals to curry rice plates, macaroni soups and noodle soups to pan fried noodles and fried rice. The options are amazing and the chefs always cook with wok hei. Servers are very quick and get orders out ASAP from their very busy kitchen. The tables are actually quite large and comfortable compared to the typical HK cafe/eatery. With both booths and tables available, they don't skip a beat with seating guests either you are dining solo or with a companion/a group. They also give you free soup of the day for every meal for order until it runs out. It is usually a Chinese style soup or a Western style soup like vegetable soup in tomato broth base.
