So regardless of your language, they have menus that have you covered and many with photos as well. Lots of options, really reasonably priced, authentic and fresh from the kitchen. Fried tofu, fried oysters as well as broccoli and scallops were some of our personal favorites from our meal. I love fried oysters and was not expecting what we got. They were spectacular! Plump, cooked just enough, light and barely noticeable batter. Really a much better oyster than I would expect at a dai pai dong. Do not judge a shabby hole in the wall by its dai pai dong label! The congee was unique since some type of leafy green vegetable was embedded into the rice porridge. As a result the congee had the flavor of the leafy green along with the savory flavors that are typical in congee. Our favorite item was the steamed turnip cake. We had several orders of that. Compared to those at other places this one was much lighter. Texture was smooth and it went really well with the slightly sweet soy sauce that covered it. We were amazed how it stayed together in a cube since it seemed to fall apart as soon as we tried to pick it up with our chopsticks. Service was average. I decided on two dim sum spots to try on this trip with Tim Ho Wan being the first. I came 6 PM on a weekday and it wasn't busy, we were quickly seated as there were plenty of available tables. Since we were not too hungry, we ordered the Shrimp Cheung Fun, Har Gow, and Siu Mai. It took around 5 mins for the dim sum to come out and the food looked good. However, it really seemed like some flavors were missing the umami taste that you would expect of dim sum.
