I love shabu shabu and this place gives you a lot for the amount you're paying. My party of 4 came…read morefor lunch and opted for the prime beef unlimited shabu. There are 2 more options, either the wagyu beef or the selected prime beef, both at a higher price point. The side dipping sauces at the condiment bar plus rice and veggies are all included. For less than $100 HKD per person, you can really fill up with all the food that they serve (prime beef option). On the first round of raw meat, they include one box of pork and the rest beef. Afterwards, you can order as much beef as you want. Each table is allowed two different broths so we chose the curry broth and the tomato broth. The curry had a nice kick to it and the tomato had subtle sweetness. We gathered lots of pumpkin, mushrooms, fish balls, pork balls, beef balls, fish tofu, Chinese vegetables and deep fried bean curd to accompany our thinly sliced beef. The servers were quick to remove our used plates and bowls and were attentive to replacing the beef. The beef itself was not high quality but pretty good for what I expected. If you want marbling and all that I'd recommend ordering the wagyu. The soft drinks and ice cream bar are also self serve near the veggies and condiments. Overall a decent place for quick hot pot needs.

The restaurant is more casual but updated to reflect a more modern and freestyle type of dining room, where servers come by to check on you every now and then but the freedom to order from the table's QR code and self-serve your own tea with the individual tea machines at each table is highly encouraged. The food is mediocre at best but the variety and price is also fitting. Nothing really stood out but the flavor isn't off either. The portion sizes are a tad smaller and the ingredients are acceptable. I am still hesitant to continue dining here because there are so many more high quality spots in Hong Kong, but less likely to resist going if another person in my party suggests it. However, the restrooms are absolutely filthy.

I was there specially for their hot pot but I think the quality suffers from their rapid expansion and trying to build up such a vast empire that everything was just mediocre and generic. To truly enjoy a good hot pot, I'd suggest going to the locals.

Unlike standard hot pot which starts with a pot of broth, here you first received a sizzling, spicy chicken pot. The waitress asked us to wait a few minutes before lifting the lid, so the chicken gets to caramelized and the aroma to intensify. After you finish the chicken, they pour some broth into the almost empty pot to deglaze it, and viola, a flavorful broth is ready for you to begin your hot pot experience. This place offers a lot of varieties of ingredients for dipping into the pot, as well as a variety of drinks. Even though the place is really busy, the staff is pretty nice. The walls are decorated with cute cartoons and even the placemats too has a cartoon showing you how to properly enjoy your chicken hot pot.

You eat the chicken first and then your server adds in the chicken stock so you can hot pot with stock that is now flavored with leftover chicken juices and yummy sichuan spices. Honestly, this should be the only way we should hot pot from now on. But then again, Hong Kong is already on top of it. I'm American. It hasn't reached our shores yet, but it damn well should. On a Monday night (8PM), the wait was an hour long for our party of five. We ordered more food than we can handle, including a whole chicken, and paid HKD $200 (USD $27) each. Notably delicious foods included the chicken (duh), yin yang cuttlefish paste (very bouncy texture), and herng lings (deep fried soybean paper rolls that you dip into the soup for a second). This location is a little weird in a small street, but if you have Google Maps, you should have no problem finding it. Also, this is a chain so you can find one closer to you. P.S. Dishes are half off after 10PM. Ask your server for clarification.

For sauce, we paid for the make-you-own-sauce station and I made a mixture with garlic, XO sauce, and soy sauce. You can't go wrong with adding whatever you like into a sauce! For meats and veggies, we tried several types of beef, mutton, fish balls, fish, beancurd, and Chinese veggies. You can order whatever you want on their tablet. We also got the all-you-can-drink tea option with their delicious lemon tea. The waitress was extremely attentive and even gave us a free fried man tou dessert that came with condensed milk for dipping. The mantous had a crispy exterior and soft, warm interior. I couldn't help but indulge. Because we opted for the better quality meats, our total was about $100 USD. A more expensive meal but extremely satisfying and it was money wellspent.

We had a table-side pull of the noodles and it was very entertaining. There is a variety of different cuts/quality of meats that vary in price; so it is easy to stick to your price point if you want. The only thing that would be a bit more expensive; is that if you wanted extra sauces or certain sides; they do charge you per person for those things. I found that with the tomato soup base; there was no need for any extra sauces though. The soup base was flavourful and matched well with all the ingredients. It is important to note that this place is not AYCE; but a-la-carte ordering. We were still quite full nonetheless. All in all; was a great experience and the service is really above and beyond.
